The employees are super friendly and have great recommendations for any product you may be interested in. I get my prescriptions filled here too and the pharmacists are cheerful, friendly, and helpful. They have a great selection of lotions, which became much needed for me when I moved to Madison and experienced extreme cold and dry skin for the first time. They also sell Wisconsin-grown ginseng, which was a great gift to bring back to my Asian parents in California! Tip: students get 15% off every Tuesday and if you sign up for their monthly reward program, once a month you will get 15% off any product. The discounts definitely help because products here tend to be a little pricey but it's worth it because you're supporting a local pharmacy!

I was terrified about Covid testing and also did not want to deal with panicked people driving on top of each other. The pharmacy had very clear instructions and emails about what to do, how I would need to scan a QR code for after-information. They had a very clear set up with cones for cars to line up; you need an appointment (5 minutes tops). There was only one person ahead of me, so I waited a few minutes for the pharmacist to come back out with more test vials. He was fully protected and had all the necessary gear. He confirmed my birthday and then put the swap in my nose and it was done! I had an email that I was negative within the week.

I stopped in the store just before the Mother's Day holiday to purchase gift cards especially since their email indicated that if you purchase a gift card at full price the second gift card at equal value or less for half price. I purchased two thinking that one would be half price being that I was paying full price for one. Hog Wash! The cashier was in the least bit concerned that Walgreen's had advertised the sale and special on it's website ad and email.
