I haven't been in a Wal-Mart in a very long time…read more Since I'm online catching up on reviews, I'm including this one. My last new years resolution was to stop shopping at Wal-Marts and Sams Clubs, FOREVER. A half a year later, I am still sticking to it and finding it easier and easier to not go back with every week that passes. My reasons for doing this are simple. The types of people they hire show no interest in excelling to reach customer satisfaction. The Wal-Mart business is just too dam big. The customer is no longer valued as such, ...a customer. The shelves are stocked with garbage that comes from China or just not worth buying. POINT: If you have healthy feet, do NOT buy footwear from Wal-Mart. Many products aren't as labeled, ...example being men's belts labeled as genuine leather. The clearance aisles in some, or all of the Wal-Marts can be a deceptive joke. Some items have been found actually priced higher than the standard going price elsewhere. And this is supposed to be clearance? Do they actually believe that some customers won't stand right there in that Aisle and not go online and check items for the going prices elsewhere? News flash! Customers aren't stupid. The self checkout technology. I'm sorry. Customers buy your products and you want them to do the stores job without getting a discount for doing it? That don't fly in my eyes. That's just another disrespectful Wal-Mart slap across the customers faces. I'll patronize establishments that respect me enough to use live human cashiers, ...thank you very much. Cutting third shift away from customer shopping. Another self inflicted injury business decision. And again, not thinking about the customer. Groceries. At Wal-Mart, the unhealthy groceries outweigh the healthy groceries. High fructose corn syrup, aspartame, sodium & sugar levels and other synthetic additives are easier to find here than in other grocery stores. The entire cold cereal aisle is junk. Cereals you won't find in other countries like Germany because they've been banned, restricted or outlawed. The pharmacy. Wal-Mart has made the decision to stock their vitamin shelves with vitamins lacking 'GMP' stamps and 'Lab Tested' stamps on the rear labels. Read the ingredients on some of their vitamin bottles. These are things I can't change. But, I can stop shopping here! And I did! Wal-Mart is just too dam big. The customer doesn't matter to them anymore. Incessant Research

I would not use this pharmacy again unless my life depended on it. The guy running the place (head…read morepharmacist..?) Made me drive all the way back to stoughton to print a coupon from GoodRx (whom he had contracted with to run the coupon). The coupon CLEARLY stated that it "did not need to be printed - just 'show' or 'mention' discount/coupon to pharmacy". I showed this to him. He said he "did not care". His reasoning was.... "given the situation" read corona virus, he "did not want to have to handle my phone". ???? there was no need for him to handle my phone. Period. He could plainly see the coupon as well as the part stating that the discount "did not need to be printed - just 'show' or 'mention' discount/coupon to pharmacy". So, to recap, he did not want to handle my phone so badly that that he made me drive back to stoughton (he was aware of where/how far I had to go), open my printer/turn it on, load paper and print the page containing the discount, then carry that piece of paper back to him in McFarland, hand it to him for his perusal, at which point he filled my script. I won't harp on about how stupid his actions were. If he were truly acting out of concern about 'contact', the above paragraph detailing his actions says all that needs to be said about his grasp of the definition of theword"contact". Also, just to be clear I called the people who are running the discount just to make absolutely sure I did not need to print the coupon. I didn't. End of story. So yeah, the guy is a complete dick. P.S. This refers to the location in McFarland ONLY. Never been to the other location - and it is owned by someone else.

I use Hoey to have my meds compounded and they send it to me via USPS, (I live over 30 minutes away, in the best of traffic) It is in capsule form. My most recent refill was changed to the same 1.5 mg dose but in tablet form - an itty, bitty 7mm tablet which is much more convenient, but, unfortunately didn't produce the same response as the capsule with the drug and filler. Why? who knows. The only thing that matters was that the tiny tablet had no effect on my pain. I spoke with someone at Hoey, then later Tim, about my situation. Tim graciously agreed to swap out my pill form back to capsule. Not only did he make the change, he personally delivered enough capsules to my home to hold me over until they could complete the order and mail it out. Hoey is located in Monona, a far east suburb I have no reason to go to and, again, more than a half hour drive one way. I live in Middleton where the distance to the city limits is waaay to far to travel, especially when you are in agony. Tim provided me with a ten day supply and said he would mail out the remainder of my prescription and adjust the price. He also retrieved the tablets that I had no use for. This is the kind of service that keeps customers loyal to a business. Kudos to Tim and all at Hoey Apothecary...they really give a damn.

Upon entering, I identified myself as a DoorDash driver and showed them the items I wanted to buy. At checkout, I couldn't use my DoorDash Red Card to pay for them because it was first time to use it, I wasn't familiar with it, While I was communicating with DoorDash headquarters about payment, a black female of CVS employee took away my items twice for no reason , with displaying a very rude attitude! I told her action was rude. When I said I would complain to the CVS manager, she and another black male colleague said they would call the police. The third time I went in, they simply told me to leave, I did nothing wrong about it , I just followed the Door Dash Company instructions to go to CVS buy groceries what the customer needs. These two black people from CVS made me feel so terrible and pathetic! Why they did these to me , because of my Asian face? Bad service I never had before.
