Hire people that are to bathe patients who don't come in and step on patients pillows with their boots and keep on going like nothing happened. Like they didn't notice. Hire PT and OT people who get to know their patients, read their charts to know the person, talk to the family about how they want to go forward before ramming their own agenda down the patients throat. Every patient is different. I understand you have only a short amount of time to work with people but it takes some longer than others to accept their situation. You don't just blurt, " you"ll never walk again!" after 3 visits. That did more damage to my dads spirit that anything. I'd rather no one came at all. Have an answering service that isn't contracted out so they are accountable for making sure the messages get to people. The employees can say all too easily. " I didn't get the message." I heard that excuse many times from nurses and found out later that was untrue. Make the employees accountable I'm too tired to go on

I was due for a new CPAP cushion December 5th and it is now 60 days later and still no cushion! I left 10+ messages and I finally got a call back on January 15th. I was assured my stuff would be in the mail and that it would be delivered in a few business days. February 1st I call again and was placed on an eternal hold. I finally got in touch with someone today who indicated to me that the reason I nave not received my order is that it was "not in stock". If that were truly the case, shouldn't someone have called me to let me know not to expect it? This place is supposed to be a medical supply distributor..... there is no way to automatically fill an order. The office hours are 8:00 - 5:00 Monday - Friday which gives no opportunity to anyone who has a full time day job to get in touch with them. I have wasted several of my lunch breaks on hold only to get no answers in return from anyone. One day I had an appointment with a Respiratory care therapist for a cpap fitting. I arrived 15 minutes early and stood in line at reception to check in. I stood in line for almost a half hour and finally I called the RT on my cell phone to let her know I was there as the line wasn't moving. Instead, the receptionist was having a casual conversation with an older couple about their winter travel plans and then proceeded to talk about the benefits of starting to save early for your 401k. They are so annoying, I don't want to deal with them anymore.

I get my prescriptions filled here too and the pharmacists are cheerful, friendly, and helpful. They have a great selection of lotions, which became much needed for me when I moved to Madison and experienced extreme cold and dry skin for the first time. They also sell Wisconsin-grown ginseng, which was a great gift to bring back to my Asian parents in California! Tip: students get 15% off every Tuesday and if you sign up for their monthly reward program, once a month you will get 15% off any product. The discounts definitely help because products here tend to be a little pricey but it's worth it because you're supporting a local pharmacy!
