I would have expected that to be part of the fitting experience. What bothered me most, however, was how uncomfortable I felt when it came time to pay. I asked if I could wear my new shoes out of the store, and her actions made me feel as though she was suspicious of my intentions; when I put on my jacket and walked toward the register, she followed so closely that I felt as though she was making sure I wouldn't leave without paying. Perhaps that wasn't her intention, but it certainly was how the interaction came across. I had planned to return to purchase a second pair of shoes, but I've decided to shop elsewhere. I love the product, but good customer service matters just as much as the merchandise.

Fleet Farm would not take them as a return since I had worn them. They said that I would have to contact the manufacturer. I decided to take them in and see if they could be repaired and how much it would cost. I was greeted promptly and I proceeded to ask her if they could be repaired and how much it would cost. She said that the cost would be minimal and if i had 10 minutes they would fix it while I waited. In less then 5 minutes they had a new eyelet installed and didn't charge me anything. That had never happened before in the (50) years that I have been wearing glasses. When I inquired about getting a two year guarantee for the replacement frames, I was told that no, only the original warrantee was in place. Well, in a recent visit, concerning a continued problem with the nose pads falling off, I mentioned that a corner of one of the lenses was clouding up. The "technician" said that the lenses were delaminating. This after 2 1/2 years of use. I was told that since the lens was outside the two year warranty, they would not replace it. Imagine, after only two years, the provider would not stand behind them. Especially after the small fortune that I paid for those glasses. We all know that Costco would have made those glasses for roughly 1/3 the cost. I won't make that mistake again!!
