I use this Walgreens as my regular Pharmacy and thankfully, haven't had the experience like the first reviewer had. I also come here for pretty much anything: snack food, beauty supplies, tissue paper, and to print out my photos, which is now rare, thanks to Facebook. This location is open 24 hours and has a drive-thru pharmacy. It also has Redbox which is a plus. Staff has been pretty friendly to me and check out is always fast. I have been checked out at the front, by the photo stand, and even at the pharmacy when the line in the front is long and never had problems doing so. :) read more

I checked with Suri to confirm directions to the location and I thought it was strange that it communicated that the pharmacy only received a two-star rating. I then arrived at the location and found that the pharmacist was "out for lunch". Would have been nice to know that before I drove the 30 minutes it took to get to the store. I got a laugh, when I asked about it and was told I'd be waiting about 30 minutes. Who considers that acceptable service? I don't. read more

Walgreens please hire more staff in the pharmacy!!!! I've been here twice in the past week and it's totally backed up during the day and at night. I've now been in line at the pharmacy for 20 minutes and only had one car ahead of me that was at the window for 15 minutes. I got stuck in line between car so I tried calling in to see if the line was shorter, but got stuck on hold for 5 minutes and hung up. There's plenty of MARGIN & PROFIT in pharmaceutical sales, so please hire more adequately to serve your customers! read more

The drive through service is the worst. Unless you have an hour to wait don't bother.

These people are truly caring. One time I went for tamiflu and had to wait because of a very long line. I was fine. But, Well, there was this extremely rude nasty red neck on his motorcycle behind me that started cussing me out bc he had to wait. He was obviously very ignorant and like many old white males in this country, had some serious mental health issues and I don't mean an actual disorder, he was just full of hate and impatience and surprising a lot of testosterone for such an old man. I was terrified he was going to attack me with my small children in the car, they were only like 18 months and 2 years old at the time. Anyhow, I told the guy there was a video taping as they have cameras on their building (thank God!) and the staff was apologetic to me that the guy was literally terrorizing me for waiting in a line. It was absolutely insane. Anyhow, it was just nice to know they were watching out for me as I almost had to drive away with sick children in my car and leave our medicine I was so scared. I just think these people deal some majorly rude and beyond impatient humans who act like animals and I think they do a hard but important job and for little thanks. So thank you to y'all for your hard work. I can tell you care. read more

The pharmacy is always fast and easy to pick your order up from. The sales associates are very helpful and nice. The photo lab had my photos printed in less than 30 minutes. Clean store. read more

Generally, Walgreens is a great organization, but they definitely have a bad apple with this store. Rude, inconsistent employees. I complained to the Walgreens corporate office about them, but no response. I guess corporate does not care about customer service complaints. read more

I don't even know what to say about how bad this place is. They are either severely understaffed or just totally mismanaged. Whenever I pull up in the drive-through to pick up a prescription there's always three or four cars waiting. I'm currently sitting in line and have been waiting for more than 15 minutes and they have only helped one person in the line. Nuts. read more

Unfortunately this location is close to my house and the worst location for a pharmacy. The wait time is too long for dropping off. They hardly ever have what I need. I haven't been back in 8 years. I will gladly drive out of my way to 70 th and Shea to get my scripts which are always prompt at that location. read more

Walking into store was very clean. Clerk was not at counter. As she rings me up she had to make a comment about the price of my cigarettes and that was inappropriate. Just because she doesn't smoke, she can not make a comment. That's not appropriate or her place. I will not return to hear about others comments. read more

This was the closest walgreens that could print address labels, so that is why I went to this store. I had to drive over 25 minutes to get here, but I didn't mind the drive at first. I get to the store and picked up my labels only to find out that they were all printed incorrectly. The sticker only had half of the name on it. I would have just asked for a refund (since they don't even print out the whole picture. Flowers were even cut off in the final print), but had to return home and wait to have them reprint the labels. I kept having to call them to confirm that the labels were printed correctly since I didn't want to make the drive just to have the same thing happen. I heard them talking about me while I was still ON THE PHONE with them. Finally got my address labels. Its been a month later and I am still receiving weekly emails saying "my photos are ready" I called them, was transferred three times until I was able to talk to someone to check a box saying that I picked up my photos. Very rude, incompetent staff. I rather write out my address on 1,000 envelopes than enter this walgreens. read more

I have never written a review on a business, but with this store, I feel like I have to. I have always have a negative experience with the pharmacy. I get a call in the evening about my prescription being filled, so I drive to the Walgreen's only to have the incompetent pharmacist tell me that there are no filled prescriptions under my account. When I asked her to look up another first name, thinking that maybe I had a separate account for that specific prescription, she said in a snarky tone "...so you're asking me to look up another patient?" and refused. Lo and behold, I get a call the next morning saying that my prescription is ready for pick up so I drive back to get it. Every day for the next two weeks, I get a call during class telling me to come pick up the prescription I already picked up. So finally I call back the number, get on the phone with a pharmacist, and after explaining the situation to her several times, she finally looks up the other first name and informs me that I have two accounts and the prescription was filled under both names. So long story short, it took me two weeks for someone to finally do as I ask, and if the first "pharmacist" had listened to me, I could've merged accounts and received my prescription the first night. Another instance that encapsulates the incompetency of the so-called "pharmacists" they hire is when they almost sent me home with the incorrect dosage of my prescription. If I hadn't noticed before leaving, I could have been taken the wrong prescription for a month! These people obviously do not care about friendly customer service or the well-being of their patients, and believe that because they're wearing little white coats, they are so much better than the rest of us. How dare we disturb them from painting their nails in the back to try and fill a prescription that we need to live. TLDR; go somewhere else -- target, CVS, anywhere -- I know I will. read more

If I could give this review 0 stars I would. I've been diabetic my entire life and have had lots of encounters with pharmacies and getting medication. NEVER in my life have I seen such an awful pharmacy. It doesn't matter if you're first in line or the 4 you'll be waiting atleast 15-60 minutes to get your medication because they have people who have no idea where medication is in that store that shouldn't be allowed behind the counter. They look aimlessly around like they've been thrown into a hunger games arena to find the simplest medications. They never have more then 1 person giving people their prescriptions . To top it off they will tell you that your medications aren't covered even though you've called your insurance and they indeed are on their drug list. Oh but Walgreens will call them to confirm it to but never do. Making you have it late and suffering consequences from not having medication on time. Their are a million Walgreens do your self a favor and get them at another location! read more

I thought this location would be best because it is within walking distance. However each time I have gotten the rudest responses to very simple requests. After I transferred to this location, I went to see if they received it. The woman said that she couldn't help me, that I needed to call Target so they would transfer it (so what was the point of me transferring it from Target already?) and sent me on my way. The next time, after double checking with my Doctor, Target and Walgreens I waited for 20 minutes in the drive thru where she said it was at a different location. So I went home and called to get it to go back to this one. The woman said "You were just in the drive thru and you're not going to go get it at the other location?" It doesn't make sense to me why she thought it was ok to ask why I wanted it at the location that's close to my house, instead of just helping me. If this is not the closest possible pharmacy to your house, try to avoid nasty attitudes and no regard for customer service whatsoever. read more

Twice I've been to their pharmacy trying to get fairly common prescriptions filled (antibiotic for sinus infection and an anti-fungal cream) and twice I've arrived to pick up my 'script only to be told that they don't have the item in stock. One time they kept me waiting for 45 minutes with a sick child before they told me they didn't have what I need. Customer service was terrible and the pharmacy staff could have cared less. I will NEVER go to Walgreen's pharmacy again. Every time I make the mistake of having them try to fill a Rx they either can't fill the entire prescription or have some issue with their system. I sat there from 7:30pm to 8:30pm, the only customer at the pharmacy waiting for a Rx i needed as i just had an emergency treatment. After waiting an hour, and no other customer came to the pharmacy during this time, i was told at 8:30pm they didn't have my Rx in stock. Not only could the pharmacist could have cared less, he was rude about it This never happens at CVS and they take less than half the time of Walgreen's fumbling trying to fill a basic Rx.
