If you're not already in Club Publix rewards, you can enroll with your phone number. However, you do not need to be a member or "have a card" to get the sale prices here. Between older kids with bottomless stomachs, rising costs, and trying to save money for large future goals, we knew it was time to start checking out which wholesale club was best for us. We shopped the competitors, and one was too far and one was more money. But Sam's Club in North Charleston checked all the boxes: Decent distance from our apartment, great services, a membership sale, and better prices for most of our essentials. This location is super clean! Well stocked. And the staff was super friendly! We got lunch for our family of 4 at the cafe and spent less than $14, which is wild, and the food was great. When we first got there it was pretty quiet and there weren't any lines, but by the time we checked out it was definitely busier. But thankfully, we decided to give "Scan and Go" a chance while we did our first shopping trip, and it couldn't have been easier! And the huge plus was that while everyone else stood in line, we just finished our transaction on our phone and headed towards the exit arches where we were on our way! I'm not sure exactly why we waited so long to join, but we're feeling like legit, responsible adults now, so that's a win. Might have to go get a mini-van soon...

It's always complete chaos with tons of people, insanely long checked out areas. People just "hang out and talk in the isles, where it's impossible to maneuver your huge trolley. Also the bathrooms are inevitably disgusting. Every time I go. Like that seems to be a management issue. Clean those restrooms. Ick.

Also for those who are "Mt Dew" nutcases like me, they have the exclusive Infinite Swirl in their fountain machine. Trust me - get it, it's awesome As for the employees the clerk was pretty nice and fast. I didn't inspect the bathrooms so nothing there to report. Also, I can't speak on gas b/c I didn't fill up. That means I'm not sure about pump speed, if they have window washing units or an air tank. But if you're just needing to stop on in, there should be no issues.

But there are many, many products to shop for here. My husband recently bought prescription glasses and saved a good amount on the frames. The store has a busy parking lot, but the spaces are wide. The only improvement would be the checkouts. The self checkouts never have enough room for customers to que up and people end up blocking the area. But the store layout is good, the merchandise always is varied, and service by cashiers is friendly. They have a separate liquor store and you csn save on purchases here too.

I only popped in to look around and did not use the restroom. The store is packed well and stocked. There was no trash on the floor, inside or out.
