I stopped at this Walgreens multiple times during my stay in Mount Pleasant. It's in a busy shopping center and exiting the parking lot was pretty atrocious, but the shop had all the necessities we needed for the most part. We ended up getting rather bitten by mosquitoes this morning and made a quick run to the Walgreens for something to treat the bites. This store is neat and tidy and well laid out, as are all of the Walgreens I've been to. I managed to find exactly what I needed after a brief search, rang it up and was on my way in a jiffy. This store has a complete selection of personal care items, some groceries, drinks, snacks, greeting cards, over-the-counter medication and a full service pharmacy. read more

Jennifer, the person working the desk, was rude, slow and made a scene as she reprimanded me for how I placed items on the counter which I was attempting to purchase. Walgreens should be ashamed to know that she is representing their company. Horrible horrible customer service read more

The man at the desk was rude and didnt even seem to show any manners, when my friend put an item back into a basket he stated passive aggressively to not put it back so harshly. Another friend wanted to try a hat on and when she did he immediately told me to go grab it from her since he had to "destroy" it. If that's wallgreens policy i understand and that's our fault, but his attitude informing us was inappropriate and overall the experience felt belittling and rude. read more

Walgreens on Johnnie Dodds Boulevard in Mount Pleasant is very well managed Walgreens location and a good source for drug store and basic items when you are in the area. It is convenient and easy to get in and out of when you need some specific items. The staff here is very helpful when you need assistance and make shopping here easy. read more

Many years ago, I went to a place in Memphis that everyone called the E-light (spelled Elite). Well, this Walgreens is the E-light of all Walgreens. It's humongous, clean, well stocked and staffed. Wide open and uncluttered. This place is not your run of the mill Walgreens. Reduced items are well marked. Its easy to find everything, because the aisles are well organized and signage is good. Parking close to the entrance is never a problem. I never use the pharmacy, so I can't comment on that. read more

Why write a review about Walgreen cause it's you know... Walgreens. The thing is, this isn't your run of the mill Walgreens. This Walgreens is the newer Mount Pleasant Walgreens which means this Walgreens is boujee AF! Obviously they're catering to a market but it's sometimes humorous how different some of the product selections are. For example, need to pick up milk on the way home? Well, the only milk you're getting here is that fancy Organic Horizon milk with a cow frolicking in the pasture on the front. A half gallon will set you back over five bucks. You want different milk? Too bad, unless you ain't about that lactose life! Then they have plenty of soy and almond varieties for you to peruse. Maybe you don't buy milk at Walgreens and you just need a snack for the road. They got six different types of those froufrou beef jerky brands you've never heard of and what seems like a mountain of every Luna bar, to Kind bar plus every bar in-between. Obviously, they have plenty of other "regular people" Walgreens items and the staff is pretty friendly in there. If you play your cards right, you might score some of those lavish drugstore items at a better price than anywhere else... other times, not so much. read more

I'm not a Walgreen's shopper, in fact, come to think of it, I don't frequent 'drug stores' per say, (I get our prescriptions filled at the Pharmacy located in the Bi Lo on Ben Sawyer); however, I needed toothpaste and didn't want to deal with Walmart on a Sunday. So, it made perfect sense to stop at the new Walgreen's on Johnnie Dodds ... after leaving Whole Foods ... on my way to Trader Joe's. Wow, what a convenient location ... a large parking lot with direct access off Johnnie Dodds ... and, the entrance, well, it's just a few steps away (I'm so lazy!). The store is large and bright with well-spaced aisles... all features that I love. I was acknowledged when I walked in and directed to the toothpaste aisle which was way in the back. As I walked through, I couldn't help but notice that the shelves were well stocked and there were several associates on the selling floor. I quickly found the brand I came in to purchase (hooray ... it was on sale) and worked my way back to the point of sale stations located at the front. When asked if I had a Walgreen's loyalty card, which I didn't, the associate suggested that I obtain one to get the benefit of the sale price. Well, it was a no brainer. It took a minute. I signed up from the touch screen at the electronic card terminal. There was nothing to fill out ... no card to take home to activate ... no email address required. I was happy. I'll be checking out the Walgreen's weekly specials flyer and no doubt, I'll be back. read more

I wish I could give this Walgreens negative stars. While on vacation I called to ask a simple question on whether they had an item in stock, and I've never felt more disrespected by anyone in my life. Horrible, horrible customer service and downright mean staff. I will be taking my business to CVS from now on. read more

Walgreen's is my favorite drug store to shop in. They have great deals on a variety of different items-cleaning supplies, bottled water, sodas, snacks (chips, nuts, small grocery items) hair products , makeup etc. If you take the time to browse you will find that a lot of "common" type of items are cheaper here then at your local grocery store, other drug stores, and sometimes even Walmart. The wine is for sure! The store has a decent wine selection- a full aisle on one side that has many different choices and there is always something on sale. There is always 1.5liters of some brand that is around $6.99- great deal! I like the Liberty Creek. You will also find some 750ml bottles starting at $3.99. Not bad. May not be the "name brand" but decent and nice to try something new. Also- great deals on books, coloring supplies and small toy items for children. If you use their rewards cards and coupons you will find some great buys. Consistent customer service at both Mount Pleasant locations and very clean as well. read more

I really prefer Walgreens over the competition. I'm comparing the to CVS. Walgreens will bring up your customer frequent buyer info and give you credit immediately based on their computer records. By comparison, CVS gives you a long paper receipt that has deals on it. Being a guy without a purse, I don't want to carry around a pocket full of receipts and try to find the one that might benefit me on the next visit: very frustrating. My only complaint against Walgreens is they text me that my prescription is ready before it really is. I synch my expiration on multiple prescriptions and sometimes they either don't have one ready OR they have a partial supply requiring another visit. It's a small point and they try to comply with my requests to consolidate. Overall a very nice store with friendly staff. read more
