I usually come in here in the mornings that have wonderful respectful employees working But today I had to make a stop in the afternoon Hugo Hugeo something like that was so incredibly rude and you can tell you did not want to be there or she does not like her job. I have never had a bad experience at this Walgreens, but that employee really needs a little bit more of training in customer service. All I asked was for help after waiting for about 10 minutes for someone to come and open some doors to get my items she yelled I don't have the keys, and then when she felt like it, proceeded to go walking and get the keys yelled from the middle of the store what do you want at this point I wanted to walk out but unfortunately for me I really needed this item. read more

I was there to have my flu shot and did the online check in. I waited for 20 minutes and ended up in the line for pick up to check if they got my information on their end. Apparently they did not receive the info on their end and the tech said i did not finish all the steps. It is a 3 question regular registration and they made me feel like i was at fault. The guy who gave me the shot ended up telling me I should have said something right away. I was just askance appalled on their attitude on blaming the customer while it was their online system that is actually acting up. read more

Stumbled onto this place by random chance clicking online forms for vaccination appointments because Stanford Childrens, PAMF, and CVS were soooo difficult. Wasted so much time clicking back and forth, getting voicemails and robovoices. Not used to people at pharmacies being so nice! The nurse was so friendly. The pharmacy staff were nice and patient. The pharmacist was super friendly. They even answered the phone! Pharmacy and checkout desk had real humans without robot phones! (So rare nowadays....) The front checkout people were so nice, patient and helpful too! So weird! I felt like I got teleported back in time to a mom and pop pharmacy shop. Real humans who are really nice. So rare! This review is for curbside pickup only. I walk into this store to shop all the time and they are great. But don't order anything from Walgreen's for pickup or shipping, they will screw it up every single time. Two times I've ordered for pickup, then only went to the store after they said everything was ready. Both times I sat in my car for over 45 minutes after telling them I was there before they showed up to give me my order. Both times I could have walked in and bought the items in 15 minutes, but I wanted to see if I was being impatient. I don't think less than 15 minutes is impatient for 3-4 items is it? read more

This is a review of the store, pharmacy review is next paragraphs. This place is a hit or miss, depending upon the day/time you visit. I usually find the items I need, however customer service is non existent. There can be long lines during busy times. The Pharmacist is very knowledgeable, but the support staff needs additional training in customer support. The prices are expensive compared to other pharmacies such as Costco or Walmart pharmacy. Doctor prescribed 5 day supply on Saturday morning. Walgreens didn't have fast dissolving tablets that the doctor prescribed. On day 2 of 5 (Sunday) they advised me to have it switched to regular tablet which is readily available. Now you tell me: A 5 day supply of fast dissolving tablet delivered 3 days late is better OR a regular tablet delivered right away. They could have run it by the doctor on Saturday while the doctor was available. But they didn't. And I jotted down another reason why we are called "patients". Would not recommend going to Walgreens for your PCR tests if you are in a hurry. There is only one person working the drive through and it takes at least 10 minutes for each car going through the process. Made an appointment for 12:30pm, came 10 minutes early, only to leave at 12:50pm because there were two cars ahead of me. read more

This place has always been my go-to when shit hits the fan. It's near my home so I can walk there, and for some reason they always have whatever odd thing I happen to need in an emergency. When I moved into my new place and realized I didn't have a toilet plunger, I went out at like 9 at night to this Walgreens and sure enough, they had those for some reason. Another time when I had ants in my kitchen, I ran out to that walgreens and sure enough they had raid. Another time, when a pipe burst and I didn't have a mop to clean up, I went there and sure enough, they had mops. I don't know why they always have this weird miscellaneous stuff that I'm in dire need of, but they do, and it's great. The staff have always been really friendly too, even when it seems like they're short-staffed. Kudos to them. I don't know, it just occurred to me that I use this place for a lot of things and never wrote anything good about them here. I've been writing so many bad reviews lately and it's honestly just refreshing to write a good review for once. read more

This was the only location with Moderna boosters and was walk-in only on the website. Drove all the way here to see a piece of paper that says "only available with appointment". Oh my gosh. TERRIBLE photo service here. Monica (I think that was her name. A what-looks-to-be Afghani young woman), from the photo department... I went to Walgreens to get my passport picture taken, Monica tells me I will get 2 sets of photos for $11.99 with each set containing 2 photos. After about thirty minutes, I came back to pick them up and pay, but guess what? Monica decides to not honor the deal she had previously stated and change it to receiving 2 photos for $11.99, rather than the previously agreed upon 4. NEVER coming here to get my photos developed or taken again. read more

This place at Walgreens in Milpitas, every time I get something here or get my medicine their so slow even when there is only two people in line how I feel like they don't value other people's time and today and couple weeks ago I always got my medicine they told me they don't have it I told them it's not on the shelf it's always in the front with the cashier and I end up calling another customer floor to find my medicine. read more

Hubby and I went back in for our second dose of the COVID vaccine, this morning. From the clerk greeting us with a cheerful 'good morning' when we entered, to the young man checking us in, at the pharmacy, (he even remembered us from our first vaccine appointment)!, to the pharmacist giving us the injection, it was such a smooth process. We felt comfortable, relaxed, and grateful to have this done at this Milpitas location. Thank you staff! read more

This review is just for the retail part. I don't frequent Walgreens much, so I'm not sure if all Walgreens are like this, but... There's DVDs (new & used) for 1.99 & up. Gotta scour the bin to find the good stuff, but I scored 3 new DVDs of good movies (yes, there's a lot of junk like straight to video movies you have to sift through) for 1.99 each! Cheaper than going to the movies, which I often don't get around to doing while the movie is playing in the theater. Since the neighborhood is very largely Asian (the bulk of the shopping center across the street is Asian--restaurants, grocery, etc., other than McDonald's), there's even an Asian food item section Sriracha sauce, ramen, rice vinegar, etc. I noticed that they have a drive thru for the pharmacy. It's really weird what you get wrapped up into sometimes. Friends and I were talking about things you ate as a kid. Someone mentioned Bob Evans? As a CA native I have no clue what that is. Apparently they make breakfast meats. I countered with Jimmy Dean and then we decide we're going to go into Walmart and see what stuff they have as we grew up. Bing. Jimmy Dean. Bing Red Baron. White Castle? I never had it but friends sure did. They we discussed the proliferation of one product into many flavors. Pringles, Doritos, etc etc. It got kind of ridiculous. Then we started looking at the "Made On TV" junk and surprisingly a good selection of DVDs. Requiem for a Dream? that was a fucking awesome movie and relegated to 1.99 aisle. We come to this Walgreens since it's the closest to us, and for the most part it's what you would expect of a Walgreens. We have gotten a lot of our holiday decorations here as well when they have them on sale. The Pharmacy is great in that they have a drive through, and the contraption is pushed out very far so it's not never an issue of parking to far away. One of the pharmacists though is not the greatest to deal with, had to pickup a medication and when she gave it to us she asked if we needed an explanation, at first we said no and then went back. She gave an attitude like we were stupid and should just read the instructions and read them back to us. When we told her about an issue that we might have on following it she changed her attitude and then didn't have an answer and told us to contact the doctor. read more

I live next to a Walgreen and i go because its convenient. the reason i give it 3 stars is because it can be very overpriced and i just found out i wasn't getting my points on my card because they never mentions i had to update my email, for like 3 months. that was very disappointing. They have very nice employees but the one who stands out is faith when ever i go shes super nice and friendly she recently told me she was quitting, sad to see her go. This store is always a hit or miss, but I would like to speak only about the Pharmacy staff. I've been coming here for years and I have not had the best customer service until today. I have recently been going through the drive thru window to pick up my medication and the pharmacy technician who was assisting me today was very friendly. She had asked me if I wanted to be enrolled in the automatic refill each month and if I did she would sign me up for it right then and there. She also asked if I would like to recieve texts messages about my prescription. She was very helpful and I wish all the Pharmacy staff would always be that nice each time I pick up my medication! read more

I met 2 ladies in the photo department, both of them were terrible. I went to pick up my order when I got the confirm email, the 1st lady snapped at me and said "don't open it here" when I try to open the box to verify the merchandise.  I brought it home and found out there everything was not there; therefore I opened my email and figured out Walgreens shipped out 2 items with 2 sperate tracking numbers. I called the store to ask them about the second box, they said I had to come back with an ID.  I came back and met another lady with an iron face; she got the box and look into the system to find the invoice. i honestly thought i had a really easy rx for them to fill this time, and wanted to just get it here since the other pharmacy are far away ... 3. insurance + prescription = "not covered by your insurance" - says the clerk [i'm on the state plan] A) this is NOT possible. i told the clerk to check the card and resubmit but she said no! B) i called my doctors office, to verify if i was active, and i was! i'm eligible for my free BIRTH CONTROL by the state of CA! C) she didn't even bother asking the pharmacist, or someone else about the insurance. and i know if she did, it would save me the trouble to drive 20 minutes out. This store really does the job when you need a quick item. You need duct tape, they got it. You need a 5 foot inflatable Snow Man, they got it. Fake lashes, they got it. Photo processing, they got it. You get the point. The parking lot is large. The only thing I dislike is that Dixon Landing is so busy it takes for ever to get back onto N. Milpatas /Warm springs when you exit the parking lot. read more

This Walgreens my family and I have been patronizing for the last 6-7 years. We've never had an issue with this store or it's staff, until tonight. I had to pick up a last minute birthday card for my brother so my 3 year and I head over to this Walgreens to pick up a birthday card. I also swing by the toy aisle to grab a Cars puzzle to keep the kid occupied for a little while when we get home. As I'm at the register paying for my 2 bday cards and the puzzle, the clerk gets a phone call and answers while I'm swiping my debit card. She hangs the phone up and looks over the counter at my son and asks about the sunglasses. I tell her we walked in with them and that they are from a kids meal. It immediately dawns on me that she was called by someone who thinks that my son is trying to steal the glasses. I immediately ask the clerk who called her and now I want to speak to the Manager on Duty. I call him over and explain to him what just transpired, and now I'm really pissed. He says that the person that called was busy with a customer and that she called because she thought she saw an open package somewhere. When I ask to see the clerk and demand an apology, she comes out from behind her Beauty counter to say that she told the clerk to ask me nicely about the glasses. What the hell does that have to do with an apology? Now I'm raising my voice and causing a scene and I want to know the store managers name as well and the District Managers name and number. He says he doesn't have the DM's #. WTF??? In any retail establishment, if there is a DM, the number should be available. The MOD is now profusely apologizing and tries to get me to understand that the clerk was doing her job. I then tell him that I've worked over 20 years in retail and if any of my clerks were as rude to me the way that she was, she would have been written up at the very least. Then when he was trying to tell me something, I overhear the clerk telling customers what just happened, and trying to justify what she did was right. OK 1) if that C$@T had any professionalism, she would have kept her mouth shut. 2) She should have apologized, even if she knew she was right. I finally got the name of the store manager and the District Manager and you can bet, they're going to hear it from me. I think I'll also call the Walgreens Customer Service Line at the Home Offices in Illinois, wonder what they'll think about this issue. I'm not going to use this Walgreens even though it is only a block from the house. I'll drive to Fremont and pay the extra taxes than rather patronize A$$HOLES at this Walgreens. read more

Check out in the beauty or photo department. There is an exceptionally rude white lady with glasses that is always there and she will annoy you. I only go here because its close. That lady has been rude to me over a year now, no clue why. Also this store runs out of everything on sale. So be prepared to grab a rain check. They let a few ladies come in and do 100+ transactions on the sale items. read more
