DO NOT use their pharmacy. I scheduled an appointment online for a Covid rapid test at this location! when I got there to pick up my medication and do the Covid 19 rapid test ,which states that my results would be sent to me online via e mail within 30 minutes,( mind you I only needed that done because I'm having a surgery done next week by a specialist who requires some sort of digital proof that I don't have Covid via text or email etc and I can't use an at home test) they told me that they did not offer that and it's impossible that I made an appointment to do that. I was literally there yesterday and asked the woman I picked up my prescriptions from inside if they offered that specifically and she said they did via drive through. I made the appointment this morning. I made no mistake in the time or location I am a tech savvy sober 29 year old. It was at 435 pm. I called the manager and he denied any responsibility. I have to now go the surgery center and hour and a half away because they won't except anything later unless it's in "in-house test" at there location. If I don't do it I can't get the surgery. You guys screwed me and tried to make me feel like I don't even know what im talking about. I feel terrible for all the elderly people who have to deal with you guys. Also both times I picked up my meds my scripts weren't filled and I had to come back an hour later and wait in their line a second time. Worst pharmacy experience in my life hands down! read more

This 24-hour pharmacy drive thru is a good to have but no matter what time you come here it's mostly busy. You cannot predict on how much time it will take for your turn to come. I am Covid positive so I don't want to walk in the store but waiting in long line at drive thru is not helping either. I understand there is shortage of employees but if something is worked out would help people like me. Please look into it if possible. I will still be your customer. read more

Do NOT purchase any photos here in person, online or through app. Items are not same day or even shipped properly as promised as shown throughout the entire store and online. Ordered Dec 2nd and items are still not finished or recieved Jan 5th! Was promised fast turnaround. Employees do not now what they are doing, running around like chickens with their head cut off. Ship to store items are not managed well and are sitting in the street mail box for weeks before employees check the mailbox. Not fast not efficient, wasye of time trying to get my stuff. The fedex pickup in Walgreens is unbelievable!!! FedEx told me to pickup that I just needed the same address or name. It is my wife's package and we have the same last name and address on both of our ids. The person in Walgreens wouldn't let me pickup the package. This is beyond ridiculous and shouldn't be allowed! If I can go to an actual fedex location and pickup using the same address then why can't I at Walgreens! I wish I could give a 0 star rating, never go here!!!! read more

I have been so sick with acute bronchitis, sinus infection, and eye infection. The bronchitis and sinusitis is chronic with me. I have stage 1 Emphysema and was never a smoker. My doctor called in prescriptions for me last Thursday at 11:09 am. One was a narcotic cough syrup which they said they couldn't get for 4 days. Another was an antibiotic that was FDA approved in 1991, and generic over 20 years. That antibiotic should have been ready for me on Friday. My chronic condition responds very well to this antibiotic, and I would have been turning the corner today after using it for 3 days. It's been 4 days in one hour, and I have no antibiotic. Yesterday my oxygen saturation was on the low side, and I almost went into the hospital. Walgreen's dropped the ball so badly that the patient suffered greatly. Profits ahead of people. Staffing is always a problem there, but they should be held accountable and patient shouldn't have had to suffer. We are in flu season and that antibiotic should have been on the shelf. I'm going to be in the process of moving my prescriptions to another pharmacy. Also, whenever my insurance doesn't cover a prescription, Good Rx gives me prices from 8 other pharmacies. Walgreen's is always double and sometimes triple other pharmacies. Lousy service, botched refills, and expensive prices. Don't go here. read more

I am agreeing with the two star rating, but I'm giving a one star due to my personal experience. I have had the WORST service here. ELVIRA possess a NASTY attitude. I would not recommend dealing with her. I had to repeat myself over and over or she just doesn't understand English. I have a coupon for Wallgreens specifically. The gentleman processed my husbands good RX with no problem. Elvira refused mine, so not only do they not know what they're doing, they also discriminate, especially Elvira! This place is understaffed with pharmacists (staff) with a bad attitude. I would definitely recommend going off Bradley Street in Menifee, rather than the Murrieta location in Menifee. And if you end up at the Murrieta location DO NOT deal with Elvira. She is the nastiest most disrespectful person I've ever spoken with! Not to mention, I had to repeat myself over and over and over again. She obviously must love her job lol. Nasty girl! And it gets better. Now they just called my telephone talking about my husband and how they re-tracked. It has good RX for Menifee Walgreens as well. So will both be paying full price. I don't think it's legal to have a specific prescription at a specific location and be denied. Buyer beware! I will be speaking with the manager tomorrow, and willing to take it further if needed. read more

This review is for the pharmacy. If I could give 0 stars I would. Lauren and Jenica were rude and incompetent. My dentist sent in 3 prescriptions yesterday. When I called, the automated system said there was only one prescription available. I called again and spoke to a lady from the pharmacy. She verified that there was 5 prescriptions in the system for me. Two prescriptions from 10/21 (Afrin and sinus rinse) and three prescriptions for 10/25 (ibuprofen, antibiotics and a gel paste for teeth). I had told her I don't need the Afrin and sinus rinse anymore because I bought it over the counter. I do need the other 3 medications for 10/25. She said the ibuprofen is ready for pick up but the other 2 will be ready 10/26 @ 7:30am. I come in today and waited 40 mins to pick up my prescriptions. When I got to the front, the only thing that was ready was my ibuprofen. The girls said there's no other prescriptions in the system. I'm telling them I had called yesterday and spoke to a lady to confirm my prescriptions and she told me it would all be ready today. So whoever I spoke to yesterday, must have took off the wrong prescriptions. Obviously if you look in the system, you can see what the doctors sent in. It took 2 people to go back in the system to find the missing prescriptions. Then they wanna have an attitude and tell me I can wait another 20 mins for it. read more

I go to the Walgreens in Menifee to pick up medicine for my mother! I seemed to always run into this Asian lady (may be of Filipino decedent) that works at the Pharmacy area. I believe her name is Elyaine or something like that. I have the worst experience with her. She's VERY rude and a jerk to me. Every time I go to pick up the medicine for my mother, she never greets me, she never says thank you and she never says goodbye!! She gives me a really dirty look and gives me the medicine and goes on with her day. Like I'm some kinda drug addict or thinking I'll be using the medicine to get high. Which is ironic, because Pharmaceuticals are nothing but glorified drug dealers. And I'm a young Black male. So I feel like she was racially profiling me. I didn't do anything to her. My biggest guesses is that she's a racist. If she keeps up the rude attitude towards me, I will report her to corporate!! I do not tolerate that kinda behavior!! This is a warning!!! I just try to call the Walgreens pharmacy which online shows it is open 24/7 and the person who answer the phone that answer the phone said they were close and hung up on me. Unfortunately I had to give 1 star in order to make a review... do not repeat do not go to this pharmacy!!! They can't read a prescription order and give you the wrong amount of pills that is supposed to be prescribed!! Terrible when your health depends on the medication. Twice they filled my prescription with 30 pills not the prescribed amount which is 90 because they didn't read "take 1 1/2 pills twice daily !! This happened twice and you obviously just think a trained pharmacist reads the script so you leave with the bottle only to find out the wrong amount was filled. Endangering someone's health because of non-competent workers is a lawsuit waiting to happen!!! read more

This Walgreens has a busy pharmacy and even though there is sometimes a wait, when it is your turn they give you their full attention and they even made sure that we were getting the lowest price by checking GoodRx for us when my husband didn't have insurance last year. I started using the drive thru during the pandemic and it is quick and easy. I usually call ahead to make sure the prescription is ready first though. read more

Do *NOT* get your Covid vaccine at this location. We got dose 2 in April. The record has still not been submitted at the CA site. Called pharmacy; they said they submitted. I asked for the verification number, so I can track where the record got lost (and to see if they actually submitted the record). Placed on hold, and they never picked up the phone again. read more

This is my favorite Walgreens. I've been coming here for 3 years and have always felt welcomed as a person who uses coupons. Many stores, even other Walgreens, are not always nice to people who use them. This weekend was a very busy weekend for the beauty department. Shannon killed it with her delightful smile and welcoming personality. She is by far the best cashier ever and extremely knowledgeable about makeup. Even though the makeup department was swamped, she still asked us how we were doing, if we wanted some water and what items she recommended. She kept a smile on her face and you would never know she was busy. Misty was the manager on and she was also very helpful with all of us going after the makeup deals. Greeting and welcoming us. Thank you for providing a welcoming place to shop with coupons without making me feeling guilty that I'm trying to save money. Also, a very big thank you to Shannon for being the nicest person ever. The disorganization and lack of communication in the pharmacy is just epic. They call and tell us prescriptions are ready, they have a refund for us, whatever it might be, and when we get there, no prescription, no refund, no one has a clue. One shift apparently doesn't leave notes on patient records for the next shift. If you can't rush right over and catch the person who called you before they go on break or go home, you have to wait (read: waste additional time and gas playing tag) until the person who called happens to be available. At Von's, to name one alternative, there's never a problem. Requested meds are in stock, the pharmacist is actually able to call the prescribing physician and get a replacement for non-covered medications, etc. Von's isn't 24-hour, but that convenience at Walgreen's is more than offset by requiring at least two consecutive visits / phone calls to get anything accomplished. Open 24 hours, friendly staff. Super fast photo center & if you get their emails there are always good deals on prints. The only down side is once in a while the line gets long because there's only one or two cashiers at most. AND a big plus are the two RedBox kiosks outside. read more

I used to love this store. I have shopped at this store for 10+ years and for Halloween and Christmas Walgreens exclusive items the last 5 years. Every year I call and go in to buy what I was waiting for and leave. I understand people have caught on to the trend and sell things online but I have been calling now for 2 weeks. Every single person has a different story. I went in TWICE today per recommendations from a manager and staff member only to be told that they already sold those items 1 weeks ago...huh? When I was in there 2 nights ago they said they had just put the stuff out the day before and when I called the day before they said they hadn't received anything yet??? I have NEVER had this issue with this store! I personally believe they are either having family members come in and buy the stuff to resell because I was told the item I wanted was a 3 piece set and they sold (3) 3 pieces sets to one couple a week ago?!? Three stars because the pharmacy takes forever. Otherwise everyone is really nice and there are a lot of items. I waited 20 minutes after my script was filled because they never called my name and I was waiting in FRONT of the counter. Not cool! Not cool. I'd say the drive-through is the way to go, not the store. The Walgreen brand Heat Wraps aren't good quality. They don't heat up and the sticky part is less than par. It's awkward. Save up and buy the actual ThermaCare brand. The photo place has good prices though. I think you can only print glossy not matte via the 1 hour service but you can order matte. I've used this pharmacy years ago and the pharmacy service is less than par. I really wish this wasn't the case but it is. read more

We stopped in to do some late night shopping on 08/10/14 at about 12:15am. My husband was told that the sale prices for Sunday didn't activate until 3am. Huh? It's after midnight and you can't buy a sale item until 3am? That pretty much stinks ~ I get that it's a corporate issue and not the staff's fault but then I asked to use the restroom and was told no... that they were locked! So you're a 24 hour pharmacy and you don't let your customers use the restroom??? We put back the items we were going to purchase and left. We went up the street to CVS and had no issues with sales or computers or being allowed to use the restroom. I was able to get my Rx filled and do my shopping without having to come back at 3am. I can't say I will never go to another Walgreens but I sure won't be back to THIS location. Best Walgreens I have ever been to. First off, the people that work at the pharmacy are very professional, have great customer service, and are very hard workers. I would like to give a shout-out to Stephanie behind the Pharmacy counter for always having a good smile, dedicated customer service, and for working extremely fast and hard. Walgreens is lucky to have her as an employee there and she deserves proper recognition for her amazing work ethic. Second, the cashiers are super cool people and very friendly as well no matter what time of day you come in. I have lived here for 8 years and I never had a problem with this Walgreens. Everyone that works here, regardless of day or night, are great employees and I appreciate their help every time I come in. I called three times to ask about transferring a prescription, was on hold for an hour and got hung up on, on hold for another 30 minutes and got hung up on, and now I am calling again while heading there in person to find out what the hell is going on. At my other pharmacy I can get on the line with a person instantly and a prescription filled in 10 minutes, where here it takes almost more than 24 hours to receive two pills and I'm still completely unaware of the status of my prescription transfer. I would give NO STARS. I was literally yelled at by the very rude manager at the Sun City location after being placed on hold for over 30 minutes. I transferred my prescriptions to the Murrieta Street location hoping for better customer service, but no avail. EVERY month, my medication that is already set up for monthly renewal is delayed. I am forced to go without my Parkinson's medication for days! They don't keep a supply of my medication on hand, so every month it's the same. They go to renew it, see it is out of stock and then I have to wait several days for the medication to come in. It never fails that it falls on a weekend, which only delays it further. I have ended up going to the ER to control the unbearable contractions and tremors simply because they can't keep even a month supply on hand. Bottom line, they don't care.... read more

Our property is just about 2 blocks away, so this is like our own private shopping location. We feel like the staff is family. One of the pharmacists makes sure to ask me how my fruit trees are doing and we share growing tips back and forth because he has fruit trees too. Very nice staff, it is kept clean and well stocked. ZERO STARS: why in the hell on a Saturday night would you staff with just a pharmacist in the pharmacy; knowing you are the only 24hour pharmacy in the area?!?!? Poor man was so busy answering phone calls and processing orders having people bitch at him because he was taking so long he couldn't even get a damn second to fill the prescriptions!!!! Not only is this an inconvenience to the public is it an inconvenience to your staff and who ever is in charge of scheduling should be greatly embarrassed!! You need at least one other assist back there to do all of the tedious things that need to be done so the man can focus on what he went to school for which is (fill prescriptions and handle consults) I can't believe any management would ever even assume one pharmacist can do all of this alone! IM BLOWN AWAY *** I ended up taking my daughter to the hospital to get a penicillin shot because I couldn't get her medicine filled in the timely manor which was needed for her condition! While waiting two hours my daughters fever broke out in your parking lot which forced me to have to carry two babies inside of Walgreens to get more Tylenol bc it had worn off in the amount of time I had to wait causing her to have febrile seizure! This is by far the worst pharmacy I've used in my 50 years of life. I have left many complaints with corporate and took time to fill out all there surveys to which it all seem to fall on deaf ears and be a waste of time . The wait times the hold times are ridiculous, out of many medications frequently, VERY RUDE pharmacists and employees, unorganized. I challenge anyone from there corporate office to call as a patient and see and hear for themselves the going ons at this location. Drive thru if you're lucky to get through to experience the all too common disrespect and rudeness as well as taking a gamble of getting COVID because they give tests through the drive with no disclosure and never have I seen them sterilize the exterior when the test is done. Most of my past experiences with pharmacies have been there willingness to help, there compassion etc. Not here, your lucky if you get your prescription and it be the right one.
