Busiest time of the day is 12:20 pm during the time the high school has a lunch break. Most kids frequent the AMPM at that time. For some reason all the cashiers except 1 go on break at this time, creating long lines. Spent 10 minutes in line just to buy a drink. I've been coming to this ampm for two years since we bought a home right behind the gas station, I come get a Coke Zero once in a while but today the new guy (I'm sorry didn't get his name) was so pleasant and a breath of fresh air, greeted everyone who walked in with a genuine smile on his face and very polite and friendly. The 6 pack of oreos is $1.99 but the 10 pack is also $1.99. I have no clue why. just make the 6 pack less. like are the 6 packs even being bought? are people really going to that aisle and seeing the 10 pack right next to the 6 pack for the same price and going "yeah i think im in the mood for 4 less oreos than the 10 pack," or am i just reading into this too much. i spend $6 on 30 oreos every single time i go. also one time i saw this old lady drink straight out of the wild cherry slushi machine. just full on lips on the nossel drinking out of the slushie machine. read more

Lived here since 1998 an bought a home in the Lakes 11 years ago, was glad to see a Gas Station open so close by, never buy gas here cause their prices are the highest on both sides of the freeway. I However did use the Car wash. They've raised the prices on it 3 times. Although always friendly an courteous, They have a lot of Young an inexperienced People working it. There's been several instances where cars have almost hit inside the car wash. Happened again a few days ago when my Wife's car was almost hit because the car in front of hers stalled an wouldn't move outside the end of the car wash. I told the Manager, they need to have someone monitor the cars as they go through an have a emergency shutoff in case a car gets stuck or won't move. They seemed indifferent to even listening to that. Won't be taking any of our cars back there. read more

I've been here twice now. The first time was to put gas in my car and to take my kids to get some slushies on a hot day. As far as the slushy machines go, they have a good selection of flavors. The not so great part was when the pineapple coconut one spurted out all over my clothes and the floor. When I said something to the girls working there they said " Oh it does that all the time". They didn't even make an effort to go check on the machine to see if they could fix it. I ended up with a pina colada bath and my girls weren't able to get any out of the machine even though it looked like there was plenty in there. That was pretty disappointing. I chalked it up to them being new and getting into the groove of the new business. The second time I came was to get a car wash. I was greeted by Rebecca. She was very friendly and informative. She explained all the car wash options and even ran my credit card for me and went inside to get me a printed copy of my receipt. The car wash is a bit unusual as you have to align your car on a track and it pulls your car through for you rather than the other kind that you park and the machine moves back and forth. Rebecca had to literally guide me on how to get my car on the track. There were several options for pricing. I chose the$12 option. They give you a free wipe for the inside and a air freshener stick to put in your car. Free vacuum machines are located just outside the exit of the car wash. I proceeded to finish my wash then I vacuumed my own car and proudly put my little air freshener square under the mat! My car actually looked pretty good. Here is my complaint on that. For $3 more, I can drive down Newport to the other gas station where they wash and vacuum the whole thing for you! I didn't really see a value here. If the price was less, I would probably love it. But like I said, if I'm vacuuming my own car and cleaning the inside with the free wipe they provided, I'd expect to pay considerably less than the full service car wash down the street. It's just not the case. The service from Rebecca was awesome. The service from the girls inside the market area was below average. I will be back. I'm sure they're working out the kinks of a new establishment so I'll check it out in a month or so. It's very convenient to my residence. read more

I went to this car wash several times. I also had a membership with them. But I went on 5-4-2021 and something hit the top of my car in the soap section and cracked my windshield! I did the report and really don't know why I had to do that if they won't cover it anyways. It's really sad that between my husband and I going there I have spent more then the amount to fix my windshield wow thats great customer service ‍ so sad that companies don't care about anything but their selfs! I do not recommend going here because they give two s**** about you and your property's. The only reason I did one star is because the site won't let me put nothing read more

quick stop in to grab a drink & lotto on my way thru town, this am/pm is usually very buzzy & always fully stocked up with food & drinks, nice employees who are their to help a customer if they need it. lots of parking in the lot or at the gas pumps/tanks if you have a uhaul, big motorhome or boat. read more

Mark, the cashier was very disrespectful. He didn't pay attention or greet me completed my whole transaction and didn't even look up. He was to busy talking with his co-worker and the lady in the store. Was joking the whole time. Then it was like I was a inconvenience to him. Customer service was absolutely horrible. This is a good gas station. I mean don't get me wrong ARCO gas is not good quality gas but this station is always clean and they have a car wash and vacuuming area that I like to go to to clean my car. The employees are nice too and gas is cheaper than other stations. read more

I love AM/PM and my family spends quite a bit of money buying our drinks/refills and snacks, along with gas here. We stop in 3-4 times a week to grab drinks and snacks on the run or while filling up on gas. I usually have no problems at all and enjoy the friendly service but unfortunately, this specific AM/PM location is tainted by arsehat owners that are cheap and treat customers like burdens. Not only do they never smile or treat you with a friendly greeting, they scowl at you/everyone as if you are wasting their time. They also renege on their "loyalty" card program of buying 4 drinks and getting the 5th free by saying "refills don't count" even though it says so specifically on the cards. That is IF you can find the cards because they don't stock them at the machine because they don't want customers using them. They also stopped carrying 52ounce cups at this location because of the loyalty program. Do they not realize there are two 7-11s within blocks in both directions? I have had nothing but good service from any/all the actual employees here or at any other AM/PM. It's only when the owners of this specific location work that problems arise and customers get screwed with bad cheap service from the owners. read more

I don't pump gas at Arco period because of this gas station. Ten years ago, this gas station outside cash machine ate my $5 cash. I walked in and spoke to the owner. He told me there was no way to get my $5 credit back. He told me to write a letter and when they do inventory they will get my $5 back. Never heard back from them. Since then, no more Arco gas. But I do stop by very once a while to get drink or coffee. This morning I stopped by this AM PM and wanted to get a cup of coffee and hot chocolate. I told my son to get double cups to hold his hot chocolate. The female owner told me that they will charge TWO cups of drink's price. I told her the drink was way too hot to be held even you have the outside of cup cover. She just said just use the jackets for the cup. Her husband joined her and said he will charge TWO cups of price if we took an extra cup. CRAZY cheap owners!!! The grocery store won't charge double grocery price because you just want to double bag your groceries! I will write a complaint to Arco AM PM company. I can't believe they can just charge customers with this ridiculous reason. read more
