I had a wonderful experience with Walgreens! I planned to paint my son's birthday banner but saw a TikTok that said don't paint- print! I had to look it up and it was real. I had no idea they did banners. I created my design, uploaded on the site which was very user friendly and hit order. It was ready in two hours! I used a coupon code and got 50% off too! As a busy, full time working mom of two toddlers omg the time saved is so much appreciated. The banner is 2x6 and looks amazing. I also purchased hair care products as they had a decent selection. I needed a propane tank and was surprised they had that too. I just figured I'd ask just in case so I had a one stop shop today. One of the men working was kind enough to get the tank and bring to my car for me. I was carrying my son. The lady at checkout was kind enough to give me a protective tube for my banner. It just comes rolled in a plastic sleeve but they had had tube cases at the photo counter. I'm happy! read more

Parked and went to the door it was 715am and doors were locked. I knocked a few times and waited a few mins saw no one. Yelp and signs on the door shows it opens at 7am. I came to grab batteries for my son's thermometer before I have to go to work. Also needed pedialyte etc. Unable to get and had to go back home with nothing. Sadly if a business says they open at 7 they should be timely. I will give two stars in stead of because I have been here other times to pick up pictures from online orders and had no issues but those are online orders. The pharmacy never gets it right. Order a refill through the app and it never gets filled. They don't call or give any heads up. I call the pharmacy to ask for a status and they say the script will be ready in an hour. They explain they are backed up 300+ orders. Show up to the store to pick up said prescription after waiting 23 minutes in line and they say they haven't filled it yet but to wait 15 minutes and they'll have it ready. Waste of time. read more

The reason this Walgreens never have the prescriptions ready is because their Pharmacy Technicians are only being used as cashiers. The turn over is very high in the pharmacy. The higher ups do not respect them. They don't get to use their knowledge, after going to school. read more

When I started doing my regular shopping in this Walgreens Pharmacy this afternoon, I bent down to look at this Makeup Item then when I stood up I felt very light headed at this specific time today. I talked to Jasmine this very kind woman cashier . Jasmine said, how are you doing Frances? I said I don't feel well, I feel like I need to sit down in your chair at the Walgreens Photos Department. Jasmine told me to drink my one bottle of SPRITE Soft Drink and to also eat 2 of their High Protein Bars to get my energy level back up to the normal range. I thanked Jasmine for her great advice and also because Jasmine really cares about my health. I learned that Jasmine is the perfect person to work as a cashier at Walgreens Pharmacy because she cares very much about me as her new customer. Everyone of their employees like Raul and Allan also are very supportive and caring people who work for this Walgreens Pharmacy location in a team environment. I learned today this Walgreens Pharmacy Store Employees really appreciate their customers welfare. It's not just about the profit (money) this Walgreens Pharmacy Store makes on a daily basis it's about their customers in their employees doing their best to please their new customers as well as their regular customers. The epitome of corporate greed. This place is sad, the pharmacy is ALWAYS busy, so slow and zero help. They run a skeleton crew always. A huge influx of business with rite aid shutting down yet they don't hire up and support. Corporate puts profits over people both staff and customers. This please never satisfies, prepare to wait 1+ hour just or pick up a prescription. They have a drive thru window that is rarely open, employees are programmed to constantly apologize due to short staffing but it's this way always. They are "short staffed" but not hiring. Make it make sense. Tragic and soon it will catch up to them. You can't have a successful retail business without customer feedback or service. read more

This is the absolute worst pharmacy I've ever been to. Doctors send your prescription sent over in the morning and you confirm to fill it with their text services that same morning and they won't even have it filled 9 hours later right before closing. This is absolutely fucking ridiculous. Incompetent workers who have zero sense of urgency. They're slow as hell and can't seem to do shit right. Obviously here just clocking in and milking the clock because how hard is it to fill a scrip that gets sent over? Walgreens needs to fix this. CVS doesn't take this long. Allen Pharmacy doesn't take this long. Walgreens though? You can confirm through online or text and they're still too slow to get it done same day. What's the point of this service if you still have to wait a day or days for them to fill a damn prescription. After today I'm gonna make the drive to downtown cause Allen Pharmacy fills scripts in about 10-15 minutes. Pharmacy is terrible I will go out of my way to never use them again. My 5 month olds antibiotics were sent over by the dr at 1pm I went to them at 2 and was told that there was an issue with my insurance so they didn't start it yet... no call? So they tell me I need to call my insurance or pay for the prescription and that it would be 35$ i opt to just pay for it and deal with the insurance at a later time was told it would be 30 min wait I was on my lunch break so I enrolled in text alerts and planned on coming back when I was off. Work ends at 530 no Text so I call wait on hold for 30+ min and am told it's not ready and it will be another hr, and hr it's now 7 and bed time for my 5 year old so I call again am on hold for another 30 min no answer so I drive down to the store....( still on hold the whole time... no answer) . When I get there it's still not ready, I am told they are doing it right now.... The same employee who helped me at 2pm finally comes out to give me the medication starts to hand it to me and stops and says " the pharmacist just told me it needs to be mixed... so I guess I'm gonna do that right now" why would you try to give me medicine that wasn't ready.... When it's finally really ready and I go to pay he asks for my insurance card.... Pharmacy is very random with their hours and especially with their drive through hours. Just kind of whenever they feel like being there. Then the lines inside are typically 8 to 10 people deep. I am pretty sure only one person works here. Pretty typical for a Lemon Grove establishment. I've never had a good experience at this store... I mostly come here due to convenience for my medication or pictures. When I order pictures (which is rare) I always have to have them reprint the regular pictures, books or canvases because of how bad they come out. Not only that they are always so rude! I come in with the best attitude, as I have worked in the service industry. I understand a smile and patience can and will go a long way. But no matter what they are rude. The managers AND other staff. I recently got a book printed and there was ink marks on every page making it hard to see the actual pictures. I asked for a reprint and they told me no because "it's just going to happen again and it's not worth the time or product". I asked for a refund and for them to take the book back and they told me no. The pharmacy is a sliver better. The lines are always long and they take forever and a half. On top of that rude staff, and the prescriptions are never in stock. I normally put in for a refill 1-2 weeks before I need it, I always end up running out before receiving the refill. I know this is lemon grove and people can be rude but not every customer is like that. So Walgreens please tell your staff to fix their attitudes, fix your picture machines and find a way to fix the lines at the pharmacy. It is ridiculous!! read more

Customer from day 1 have no choice but to give this Walgreens a one star all because of this one pharmacy tech. Have some bad experience in the past and other locations but it's time to let it be known. Today 4/21/25 a little after 12 noon was met by this new face I never saw before. I had refilled my prescriptions over the phone a couple of days before when they call to remind. Waited in line like the usual. When he tells me to wait 15 minutes, I pray the wait wouldn't be long. I have things to do and places to go but I didn't question but it did crossed my mind why was it not refilled or why was it removed from the cabinets? Went to grab some magazines to look through to kill some time. I try to avoid eye contact. 15 minutes have past. He gave attention to other customers waiting along with me, who came after me. 25 minutes have past. Starting to worry but decided to remain calm. PT never once care to call my name or look after me. At the 40 minute mark I decided to signal him. He checked in the back came back and said a little bit more. I try to remain calm and cool as much as possible. I don't know how to give an attitude and I don't like to cause a scene. I've seen the abused some PT put up with bad customers and it's not nice, especially Asian PT. If you want to witness it go to the one on Euclid and Market. I see it all the time I'm just glad I don't go there anymore. I sometimes wonder why don't bad customer meet bad customer service? Is it because I'm a nice guy? Is it because I have no attitude? Is it because I'm not a good talker? Another PT I have issues with but never really got to it, is an Asian guy with glasses. I'm always on the wrong whenever I get to deal with him. He seem so nice with other customer but when it comes to me, he's a different face and attitude. 50 minutes wait for a box of lancets is way too long. Does anyone else have to wait this long? If I still have one or two left I would've left and come back and don't mind the double trip at all. Decided to take the survey and was just getting ready to call the 800 number on the back of the receipt. Manager call back pretty quickly. read more

I had been going to this pharmacy for years I should've switched sooner but i stayed for convenience. I tried to reach out to corporate but i couldn't figure out how to do it. But this pharmacy is so unprofessional. I have a couple of autoimmune diseases and one day I was picking up my medication that is mainly used to treat malaria but can also be used for Lupus, my lupus warriors may know which medication I am talking about. When I picked it up the pharmacist yells and says "do you have malaria." I was shocked because how dare you scream when there people in line that can clearly hear you and you as a pharmacist should know this medication is used to treat stuff like lupus and what happened to patient privacy? I immediately said no I was so embarrassed. I also know this is a big time HIPPA violation. The male Asian pharmacist is also very rude super dismissive acts like he is better than you. Even talks down upon you. I have moved on the CVS across the street they treat you like a real person and the pharmacists have always been kind. I would love it if there was more lighting in the parking lot due to the sketchy people that sometimes hang out behind the building. They often seem to be low in stock with lots of empty shelves but it's in a convenient location. I tried couponing with curbside pickup for the first time today and they said they didn't have two of my detergent items so I called to see if they could just replace it with a different scent of the same brand so the deal would apply. She said they actually did have those items and to just place the order again. Ok cool. So then on the second order with the exact same items they said they didn't have the face wash this time. Do not waste your time even going to this location! My rx was called in Friday March 3. I go to pick up on Saturday and they told me it wasn't ready and to come back on Sunday. I show up Sunday and same story different Bs telling me I need to come Monday and it would be ready by 4pm. Guess what?! I show up Monday at 5 and they tell me it wasnt ready and they didn't have it in stock!!!! Not one single soul picked up the phone to call me or even tell me every time I drove there!! Their customer service sucks and told me I needed to call around to see who had my rx. I called them and held for 3 hours and their lazy assess didn't even pick up the phone. The dr even tried calling and said she had no luck either and it was terrible customer service. I will no longer go to this location and I hope this store gets shut down. POOR MANAGEMENT!!!
