WARNING Avoid this place. It's dirty and there's a alittle guy behind the counter that likes to yell at customers. Worst customer service I've ever seen. and they charge more than every other 7-Eleven. If you have to go here for any reason compare the prices when you're there. It was just recently bought out and they're taking advantage of people. I live just down the street and when I go in there at night, they have all the donuts on the floor uncovered. If you're going to charge more for everything, people would appreciate it if you took better care of the food they are about to consume. I mostly avoid this location, but can't help it when I just want a Reader, or a quick can of beer. This is, of course, on the way home from the gym. Calories burned, calories gained back. Such is life. Can't hold anything against the workers at all, and won't, they are not the problem. The location is. Getting harassed just about every single time when I'm getting in and out of my car by various transient types. These are the aggressive, to some at least, the intimidating type. Nothing I haven't dealt with before. I know I got this. I happen to drive one of the most beat-up, 25 yr old pickup trucks on the road but you'd think it was a Mercedes or Lexus the way I'm getting hit up. And my other car's only 27 years old... I swear I'm gonna throw something at one of them one day. It'll probably be one of the beers I just bought. I've practically, almost cussed them out several times. Softer PG-13 type words.. Based on a recent dream I had, I'm sorta thinking stink bomb launchers or mini flamethrower nozzles installed on my vehicles, would be a slight deterrent. This is a very small location to have a gas station but they try and make it work. I'm a fan because they have some very affordable gas that is probably about ten cents cheaper than most gas stations in the area. This is in Rolando too so if you aren't from the area or don't know the area you may need to be careful. read more

I have visited this location a few times and they never seem to have what I want. I've gone in to get pizza which they don't have. Last weekend I wanted a fountain diet coke, which they were out of so, decided I could have Iced Tea instead. Well, they do no offer brewed Iced Tea at this location. So, I mentioned to a worker they fountain was out of diet coke and she said they were out of syrup and not politely, like I should have known. I don't know why people are complaining that 711 so expensive. It's a freakin convenience store, you're paying for the convenience not to go somewhere else that's further. Other than the fact that the people that work here aren't always so happy, I always come here to get my coffee. This 7-Eleven is a 7-Eleven Gas Station too. I come here when I'm in the area and want a slurpee. I've bought some chocolate and candy bars or ice cream here and yea it is a tad bit expensive in comparison to a grocery store or target. Buying other random things it's even more expensive. It is a convenient store... Convenient to take your monies. Parking is a bit small in consideration that there's gas pumps there too. Service is ok. Whenever I am here it seems they are just not having a good day. Sometimes at night the place seems pretty shady and scary. read more

The people are very friendly. They provided good customer service. The floors were very sticky and needed serious maintenance as my shoes stuck to the ground after every step, for that reason they get 4 stars. For being 07/11/2015 they had a set up where they filled the cup for you. Ehhh! Not the best 7-11 but its legit enough for being right next door to SDSU. I was walking home from my night class and realized I didn't have any soap at home. So I strolled on into 7-11 and bought this one bar /off-brand for like $2.99! Man they made money off me! Haha but I was so despreate and didn't want to walk to Rite Aid or the grocery store! Ok there is something wrong here , very nice girl who is the cashier at night even on 12/25/00 Asian-name lynn ) is being over worked and is always by her self when there are alot of people. She can not handle the volume of people but tries . On 12/25/00 time-7:09pm cashier over charged my friend by 79$ . She used my friends card and processed the purchases of others. Now I know this girl good enough that I'm convinced she was confused as well as over worked as she always is. There needs to be two people during the hours between 4:pm to 10:pm. It can't be this girl. She can't multi task . I will forward a report to the labor board implementing the (owner) of the store for over working this girl that is not equipped to handle volume. read more

Right in the middle of the ghetto, the employees are always nice to me, yeah the stuff is expensive but I rather stop here then find a 24 hour Walmart to buy some damn toilet paper. The guy ended up charging me for three kitkat which popped onto the screen as $4 something when each bar cost $1.29. I advise you to check your winning scratch tickets at the machine before redeeming them at the register. There were a number of times where one of the girls here will try to short me out of my winnings. Just last night they shorted my bf out of a $30 scratcher. My bf asked for the scratchers back and immediately told the cashier that she had forgotten one, the biggest one out of the small stack he had brought in! There was another time when one of them hesitated and asked me if I knew how much I won after scanning them in the machine...very suspect. Also there were a bunch of expired snacks that we had brought to their attention. They simply ignored our concern, and restocked the expired items back on the shelf. Generally a good clean store considering the area it's in but the reason they are getting two stars is the slurpee machine. Although the employees are very friendly they do not have a single clue what they are doing when it comes to the slurpees. None of the flavors ever taste how they should and the surrounding area is always a mess. It is not out of the question to clean the machine inside and out every once in awhile to keep the drinks fresh. When asked why my Coke slurpee tastes like blueberry Mountain Dew the employee simply told me I was wrong and its regular Coke. Now I realize that I don't work there and I wasn't the one to put the syrup into the machine but I've had plenty of slurpees throughout the years to be able to tell when something doesn't taste right. Sadly, nothing changes no matter how many times you try to help them. read more
