AVOID THIS GAS STATION AT ALL COST!!! The Card Reader at the pumps DO NOT WORK and YOU ALWAYS HAVE TO GO IN AND WAIT IN LINE TO GET YOUR GAS. It has been reported to the Manager several times, but 3 months ago when I was in this location they did not work right and this month they still do not work. The Card Reafers always ask for your PIN Number but then always tell you to " Go See The Cashier." Something is not right, if I am asked for my PIN then have to go inside to see the Cashier. This has been a problem for months and the only response the manager gives is, Yes we know, we have called several times to have the situation fixed but they have not fixed it yet." If you want to wait in a long line instead of having the convenience of getting your gas quickly at the pump then this is your place. But if you want yhe convenience of getting your gas quick and efficiently without inputting your PIN into a machine that then tells you after theyvtake your PIN to go inside, th3n AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST!!! read more

Aight... I have to upload some photos next time I come to this place, because what you see on this Yelp listing is not what you get. They've torn down the old structure that is seen in the photos and it's been replaced by a beautiful new building, convenience store, gas pumps and cookie counter that has already closed. Yes, a cookie counter - RIP: http://www.yelp.com/biz/zooies-cookies-and-ice-cream-san-diego The gas prices are on par with the city averages and they have tons of pumps assuring you won't get involved in a game of bumper cars while waiting to fill up your tank. I also was given some kind of a scratch card the last time I gassed up and won $5.00 off of my next visit. $5.00 doesn't get you much these days but every little bit helps to ease the pain while pumping! Only thing I hate about this gas station is that there is some weird place across the street that hosts one of those fundraising car washes every single day. Yo this gas station is wassup. Price for gas is always competitive! Usually commensurate with Costco gas down the street but with way less waiting. The tellers are usually friendly and there's good stuff inside the shop! They have air for purchase if you need as well. Only a few crazies every now and then hanging around. read more

It was an Exxon and just changed to 76. Simple corner station with cheap gas and those annoying TVs talking to you so you might at least not be bored. And bright lights. There's no bathroom or walking inside, but there's a window to buy things out of, an ATM, and cheap gas. Like cheaper than an Arco that usually beats everyone. Oh, and they're open 24 hours so when I'm at my work (just down the street) burning the midnight oil I can fill up at 3:30 am. I would have gotten gas there today, but they're not listed, so I couldn't check in on my iPown. So the 76 by my house gets me a check-in and my money. read more

I am a regular at this gas station. Best prices in the neighborhood, as well as it being clean and well lit. The staff for the most part, are extremely nice; except for tonight, where the old man thought I was a mind reader. The lady who normally works the nights always tells me to keep the ATM card reader on the outside, considering that I'm not the only one who will be paying with card; where as, the old man tonight kinda just stared at me for a few seconds and blatantly said, "you need to put it back into the tray!" I just thought that was just plain rude. Also, if you come after 11pm, it'll be closed for a shift change that lasts a little over a hour. I normally get off work around 11:30pm and wait until "12:08am" (yeah, that's the exact time they say it'll be open again, although it's normally around 12:15am-1230am) for a pack of cigarettes & gas. Definitely worth it seeing as nothing else is open, and they're the cheapest around. My only real complaint about this gas station (aside from the rude old guy) is that there's not many pumps, and during the day it's super busy. It would go A LOT faster if all the cars had to go one way. In the middle of the day, everyone's going in different directions and I've had people steal the pump from me from the other side, whether it be backing in, or coming from another direction. It just creates more traffic and congestion. Otherwise, I prefer to come super early or super late. But other than that.. It's a great gas station. I would've rated this gas station higher, if it wasn't for the rude old guy. I won't be coming if he's the one behind the register. read more

I love this place!! I smoke and have base privileges but sometimes I need some when the exchange is closed. I live in Lemon Grove and I go out of my way to buy them from this station. The prices are maybe 10 cents more than the base and the customer service is amazing. Anna, Christine, Anthony, and Kevin-there's a new girl?, don't know her name, but she's great as well. Gas prices are usually on the cheaper side, too. Businesses with excellent customer service are a dying breed, and we need to support the ones still around! read more

No matter when I go they always seem to have the cheapest gas in my area. The winshield squeegies always have fresh water and cleaner it seems. Trash cans can be overfilled sometimes which is why they don't receive five stars :( read more

I am a loyal customer to tis station because te staff there is so nice and helpful. Anytime of the day or night that I go, they always treat me nice. They are very respectful to EVERYONE. I see alot of the same customers return as well. The area tha this station is in is not your ideal, great area but the station is clean. So it's been a while since I've driven through this area of San Diego, considering the fact that I grew up near this gas station on 30th & Market nearly two decades ago! A lot has changed since the last time I was in this area. I don't remember it being a 76 gas station. Anyway, I was shopping at Costco down the street & need to put gas after I was done. I was going to fill up at the Costco gas station as their prices are usually cheaper than other gas stations. Mind you I don't look at the regular unleaded gas prices as my car requires I fill up with premium gas :/ so I'm always looking for the best deal in town (usually I go to Arco). The line at the Costco gas station was outrageously long (as always) & I was too impatient to wait especially when I had frozen goods in my trunk. So I took the chance of running out of gas & I went up the street on Market to the 76 gas station. I got there & right off the bat I was surprised to find their gas prices so cheap! Ironically it was cheaper than the Costco gas station down the street with no wait time! You can't beat that, The gas prices are cheap & the customer service is great! That young guy working there was fast & efficient. I will definitely stop by this gas station if I am on E & in the area. Definitely a 5 star gas station! read more
