There was also no effort made by front line staff to help me problem-solve. Only after I was turned away aggressively ("What is this? This isn't a prescription!! There is no doctor's signature, blah, blah, blah...") did I realize they could have just offered to try and transfer the prescription, because I did have a prescription number...which is what I was having done with a second prescription already, incidentally. For that second prescription, thank goodness somebody who seemed like the manager just happened to be standing there and listening. The counter person tried to tell me, oh this was filled by a different pharmacy, you have to go there. I as the customer, with no clue about their systems, had to proactively say, "Isn't it possible to transfer this prescription to here? Because that pharmacy didn't actually take my insurance." I am sure they are just very busy and trying to save as much time as they can with this gatekeeping by being unimaginative. But I can only imagine what barriers this creates for people. And also, it felt like they didn't even actually want my business, they were so busy.

So we looked for the next best thing, and found this 7-Eleven. We walked in and were greeted by the two gentlemen behind the counter. To the right was a couple hookers kind of huddled in the corner. I'm not quite sure what they were doing but it looked pretty suspicious lol Anyway, we went about our night. Grabbed some razors and shaving cream and whatever other miscellaneous things we needed, that they had at the 7-Eleven. We found some things we needed. The men's razors were gone, but they had women's razors so it worked out. Overall, this place is okay if you don't mind the random hookers in the corner of the store just hanging out lol

Employees, underpaid as they are and making long hours, have to regularly deal with abuse, both verbal and physical , to the point that they started having to carry pepper spray. But if you treat them with respect, they'll do the same to you. Pro tip: the listed hours are wrong, they typically close the door at around 11:30p to start cleaning.
