Every time I visit a Walgreens in Orlando, I am simply astonished at the sizable amount of Disney products they offer and at the price they offer them for. Years ago I purchased some Mickey pajamas that I still enjoy and remember the time I bought them when I was on my Orlando vacation. They bring a smile to my face each time. This visit I was so pleased to find the Mickey and Minnie salt and pepper shakers that are both practical and decorative. They were also very reasonably priced. I was visiting from out of town. My boyfriend had already left. Unfortunately I had forgotten to pay my phone bill and went to this location to deposit money onto my cash app card so I could electronically pay my phone bill. Without my phone connected, I can't use GPS or call anyone. Getting to the Walgreens I realized I didn't have my ID baccarat my bf had it when we each left to go back to our prospective homes, which I also needed to perform this transaction. Well, the two workers inside I believe their names were Roberto and Ariana (excuse me if this one is incorrect my bf was in the hospital all day so her name is murky) went ABOVE AND BEYOND to help out getting me situated. They were about to reach out to my bf so I could get my id and helped to get my cars loaded so I could pay my bill and get to the hospital for my bf. These two were AMAZING!!! A late night stop at Walgreens did not disappoint. As we walked to a lengthy line we over hear someone ask a worker who's name tag read "Felix" if they are staying till close and hey politely added yeah, "got to get this line down." He then took it upon himself to open a second line, and cut the waiting time in half, he was efficient and super friendly. This experience was smooth enough to make me want to review a Walgreens (who does that) hehe. read more

This is a nice Walgreens. I was staying in a nearby resort for a couple of weeks and would fairly often come here for some quick groceries when I didn't feel like going to a Walmart. Store seemed clean and organized. Staff was ok. The neighborhood didn't seem sketchy and I came here at all hours of the day without feeling unsafe. read more

If you go to Disney and need supplies you will likely end up here. It doesn't matter what location you visit, nearly all Walgreens are laid out the same way. This location was no different, but it was the closest place to my resort where I could pick up essentials. I guess I actually needed more than essentials, but I can elaborate on that a bit later. The odd thing about this location as compared to nearly every other one I've visited was the lack of staff. I was searching high and low for some of my items and there was no one to ask for help. I would have asked one of the cashiers, but I only saw one and she had a giant line. That lack of staff made what should have been a brief visit turn in to a lengthy one. Once I finally found everything, I proceeded to the check out line. The cashier wasn't rude, but she didn't seem to be enjoying life either. I guess she was worn down since she was the only person I saw working. If you happen to be visiting Disney World and need supplies, I do recommend you come here, but don't expect an incredible experience. Note: In case you were wondering what items I bought I will provide a list. I don't know why you would care, but in case you do, here it goes: Water - I was not paying $3 for a bottle of water at my resort Powerade - Orange, not blue. No one likes that blue crap. I can't speak for the store itself but the pharmacy staff member I spoke with was amazingly rude! I needed to transfer a prescription to this store from a different pharmacy. I'm a clinic nurse and a former pharmacy tech so I know a bit about the process, I wasn't fumbling around for the information to give them. I'm not sure if it was a tech or the pharmacist that I spoke with but they were condescending and ugly. I finally ended the call by saying "I'll just call another pharmacy, thanks". I'm not usually bothered by crappy customer service but this guy went above and beyond to be a total tool. Yes, I know pharmacies are short staffed like the rest of the world. Yes, I know it's sometimes difficult to be chipper. But when you're a customer facing representative of your company, do better. read more

We stopped by here to get some water and cash back since there aren't any banks in this area. The store is well packed and organized. As we were paying for our water and asked Millie what the maximum cash back is at their store, you'd think we asked her something to offend her. She seemed irritated. Finally after mumbling some gibberish, she said $40. Then after we got our cash and were walking out the door, she told us to go to the bank behind the Marriott a block away. After we got into our car, we noticed the girl who was behind me with two $20 dollar bills like what Millie gave us. I'm assuming since there are no banks around that anyone can see, lot of people stop by and buy things just to get cash back. That explains her irritation. Since we realized there's a Chase ATM at Disney parks, we won't come here for cash but to just pick up things we need. Update for September 4th, 2010. We came back to get water and saw that there is a Chase ATM in the back of the store. Funny that when I asked for a Chase bank first time I was here, I was told that there wasn't one anywhere around here. For anyone looking for ATM's in this touristy area, this Walgreens has Chase and 7-11 has Citi. All Disney parks have Chase. Overall the experience was ok. There were a few things off. To start, I was there to drop off a FedEx package and purchase a portable Sun Pass. Conveniently, they were both in the same area. However, when I walked in the store no one was in the photo area. So, I walked over to the main check out area to see if there was a deviation. After waiting in line for a few, the employee said to go to photo and they would get someone over there. When I walked over, one person was already there and another family behind me. We waited about 15-20 minutes. When they did arrive, they spend another 5-10 minutes looking for the special reader they need for FedEx. All and all I left feeling satisfied with every thing I wanted to do was completed. But, not sure why it took so long. read more

Don't bother trying to buy any Exclusive Funko Pops from this location. I was watching an employee stock a Spiderman pop I was looking for. He put it down on the shelf and as I started reaching for it, he immediately grabbed it back from the shelf and threw it into his stocking cart. He said, "sorry, this one is mine. Worst Walgreens I have ever stepped into. Poor attitude all around, and higher price than your average Walgreens only because of it's touristy location. Don't bother looking for the management here; it was evident that his management skills reflected the rest of his employees. Friendly staff but difficult to navigate late at night. Some weird customers very late at night make the experience one not for women and children. Came back during the day, much better. They have beer and wine and some good specials on the wine. Overall, this place is very similar to the other drug stores in the area. Orlando area drug stores seem to 1-up drug stores in other areas, partly because they cater to tourists and have interesting things like suitcases. Note sure I would want a Walgreen suitcase, but worth noting. A big plus is that they had the 2 for $4 Starbucks coffees in a can. My fiancee loves these and whenever we find ourselves in a drug store, we always check to see if the 2 for $4 deal is on. read more

I'm appalled at the pharmacy Dept of this Walgreens. I've never had any issue and the head pharmacist Dennis whom is amazing and always has been. What I have an issue with is your COVID vaccine process and your new hire process. First, the safest way to prevent contracting COVID-19 is distance. More than wearing a mask. A mask doesn't fully prevent because the particles are too small and can enter. So distance is the safest way to NOT get COVID. You have a mirage of people standing around the pharmacy waiting for this vaccine and ppl waiting for prescriptions. You have 2 LINES! One for vaccine and one for pickup. So why is it that after I waited about 10-15 mins on the pick up line and was next I heard "NEXT FOR THE VACCINE" on the pick up line? Why bother. I was livid. Now I'm standing w a woman behind me purchasing cough medicine when I could've been out of there already. Not only because of this but because of the lack of knowledge surrounding the young pharmacists. Train them fine but don't allow them to answer calls and questions without the proper knowledge. And for the love of God do something about this vaccine set up. read more

I have been waiting for a prescription for almost a half hour, and I am the only customer. Because my insurance doesn't cover my med it's always a hassle...so I called TWICE to "help them understand". It's still not ready! It's like they have never had someone pay cash. Instead of filling the prescription (how long does it take to count a month of pills????) the pharmacist keeps coming back and conveying useless information. This Walgreens is open 24 hours and located close to a few resorts in the Kissimmee area. On this occasion it was late at night but very busy. We came in contact with a few employees and they were all very pleasant and helpful in finding things we needed. Another bonus is the parking lot is very well lit at night. read more

Today at 6:40pm,My son came out furious. That the CSR at the front did not even try to help him to put money on his card from Paypal. As he has done this transaction previous times. I would have came inside and gave her a piece of my mind but I had other things I had to get to. But this is soooooo unacceptable. She stated that the store does not do those transactions. But he had it done before. Either train your cashiers or CSR's again on the procedure or get them off the register. read more

We stopped in for a SunPass and some children's tylenol. There was an older gentleman that helped us located both. We went to the front and checked out. The cashier, Monica, waited on us. My sister told her that she had the phone number for the Walgreens card. She was about to tell her the phone number when Monica gruntled and pointed to the credit/debit keypad.
