Their website says "open 365 days" (see photo) but when I called Christmas Day to pick up my antibiotics, it went to voicemail stating they are closed today. There's nothing worse than dealing with back spasms on Thanksgiving, and luckily my doctor was kind enough to call in an Rx for pain management to one of the ONLY open pharmacies in town on a holiday, Turner Drugs. Living in Celebration, we had heard of this pharmacy but had yet to stop by. We were greeted by the pharmacist on duty, Dr. Turner (one of the Turner brothers). We were given a welcome gift bag after registering our info to pick up the Rx, which was waiting for us less than an hour after it was called in. This welcome bag included a weekly pill container, a package of Kleenex, a small eyeglass repair kit, a toothbrush, nail clippers, chapstick, a pen and some informational fliers. This is a family owned pharmacy, and Dr. Turner told us they have been servicing the Disney area for 40 years, and have been in this celebration location since 2009. They were fully stocked with toilet paper, Clorox, cleaning supplies, and Lysol - which are increasingly hard to get items during these times of Covid. The store policy requires face masks to enter the store, but they also had some disposable masks for sale in the event you came without. The staff was friendly and helpful and we learned they are open 7 days a week, even on holidays like Christmas and Thanksgiving! They deliver meds to your house or nearby hotel and they are a compounding pharmacy as well. We will definitely be coming back to Turners and recommend this pharmacy to anyone visiting the parks or live nearby. read more

Needed OTC meds urgently that I could not find anywhere in the parks. Disney first aid gave us Turner Drugs and I can't emphasize enough how great it was. They delivered the medicine in about an hour to my hotel room. Everyone was so friendly! So so so thankful!!! read more

Three years later and my fave star rating hasn't waive red. This place is exactly what a neighborhood pharmacy should be, and what all of the chains are not. We have been working with them for years, and now with all three of our children's prescriptions. Kevin is definitely the backbone of the place, and I am more than grateful for the effort that he has put in to deal with my insurance companies. Without him, I'd be less sane. This pharmacy completely messed up my child's prescription and could have killed him. They didn't read the doctor's orders and therefore did not dispense enough medication for ONE evening dose. He went to bed without medication after I had called this pharmacy all day prior to confirm and reconfirm the amount so that this didn't happen. It still happened. He ended up having a lengthy seizure due to not having enough medication. We only needed three days worth of medication as we were on a vacation, but this pharmacy neglected to count out the correct number of pills for one single dose, let alone 3 days worth. They also charged a delivery fee to us and don't take insurance. When I called them to get our money back for the error they refused to take responsibility and proceeded to scream at me on the phone. They had no care or concern for my child's well being and did not even once ask if he was ok or how they could mend the situation. We went to Walgreens the following day and they easily fixed the medication situation. DO not use turners. Not only are they clearly incapable of dispensing medication but they don't even care at all about the people whom they are providing medication too. Disgusted! read more

We got into the Magic Kingdom just as my Mom realized she had a bladder infection. We asked a Cast member how we could get some Azo. She immediately contacted First Aid who stated they were out of it. She got your number. I called you and you had it delivered to First aid. I was sent a text that it had arrived. Every Friday, I treat the kids to "Fun Friday" and our first stop this year has been Turner Drugs after school to get a treat. One usually gets a bubble gum for .25 and one gets a chocolate treat for .99. They also offer a discount to the school kids, which we have received every week to make our purchase price .89! Great, right? Fast forward to today, when the extremely rude cashier (I believe she said her name is Kathy), would not only not give us the discount, she wouldn't allow us to charge it since it's less than $1. She was unapologetic and extremely rude. When we explained to her our tradition and how we have bought the same snacks every week this year, she said, "Well I want to know the name of the person who sold it to you because they aren't supposed to!" I am appalled. If this was their "policy," it should be stated somewhere in the building. Furthermore, when I explained our tradition and that we do this every week, she could have certainly explained the rule and made an exception. For a small business to act so rude to its customers, a small child who wanted an after-school snack no less is just bad business. We will be getting our snacks elsewhere and asking others to do the same. read more

My fiancé is a type 1 diabetic. Couple months ago in September we took a trip to Disney world. Somewhere along the way (we think at the airport) he lost his glucose meter. He didn't realize until we landed in Florida. Once we got off the plane we googled the nearest place and turner drug popped up. They offer delivery straight to our disney hotel. We placed an order mins before they closed so we were expecting to get it the next morning. An hour or so after we had arrived at the hotel, my fiancé decided to check with the front desk to make sure we got called when it was delivered and what do you know, it had just arrived about 2 mins ago! When we got back to the room, he checked his phone and saw they had texted him saying it was delivered!! This was such great service! They were efficient and friendly and they saved our trip. I had a "tooth emergency" while at Disneyworld, and dentist prescribed penicillin (40 tablets). She said Turner Drugs delivers, so I said they could fill prescription. She told me there would be a delivery charge, in addition to the charge for the medicine, which of course is reasonable. When I picked up prescription at hotel lobby, cost was $44.68, plus delivery. Total was $54.36. I called the drugstore and asked if this is standard price for meds, or tourist price. The person I spoke to said this was regular, or standard price, or words to that effect. When I got home I inquired of my local CVS how much the same prescription would cost, and they said $22 and change, or half as much. I understand that a local drugstore would charge more than a chain drugstore, but this was twice as much. I also note that the actual script filled out by the drugstore is labeled "Tourist Prescription Service" on top. As an attorney in particular, and a consumer in general, in my opinion it is odd that they would use a different script for tourists than they do for local customers. If I were to need a prescription as Disneyworld again, if at all possible, I would not use Turner Drugs. read more

I asked to ask the pharmacist a question she wouldn't transfer she asked on behalf of me. As a customer since the Celebration store opened, I can only say how honored and blessed I am to be so royally treated and cared for. My son came down with an ear infection while at Disney World. Because of the coordination between the Epcot first aid center, my doctor at home, and Turner Drugs, the prescription was delivered directly to Epcot and we didn't even have to leave the park! My son and I have been sick lately. I went to Turner Drugs at to get his prescription a few days ago at 7pm, the building was closed but they let me in and got the prescription for my son. They told me that they're open for delivery until 10pm. I was sick on Thanksgiving and went to Turner Drugs to get something to get me through the day. Turner pharmacy came through for us again on our trip to Disney last week. My wife's much needed prescription wasn't filled by our home pharmacy until after we left. I called Turner and they took care of it, and they knew exactly ehat to do. They collected the necessary information and had our prescription transferred, filled, and delivered to the hotel that evening (for a small fee). One thing to note though, which was a bit odd. My wife's RX was for 30 tablets. When I called Turner, the lady asked how many we needed while we were down here. I replied we needed 10 tablets for the duration of our stay, so the delivered exactly 10 tablets. I should have just instructed her to deliver all 30, because when it was time to go back, I had to make an extra phone call to my home pharmacy to get the balance of the prescription (20 tablets) transferred back so my wife could have her medicine when we returned. read more

My son's cold developed into an ear, sinus, and eye infection while at Disney World. We were thankful to find a pharmacy that would deliver to our resort, but the service was horrible. While inquiring about my sons missing meds (still hadn't received next day, front desk was adamant they hadn't been delivered), I was told the meds had been delivered then hung up on! After I called back, I spoke with the same woman who was extremely rude and wasn't interested in helping me find where my sons meds had been delivered to. Additionally, they had my sons refrigerated oral antibiotic and room temperature eye drop in the same bag, both of which were stored in the fridge (not good for the eye drops). Because of my previous interactions- I didn't even feel like calling to have this corrected. Next time, I'll just take a cab to the closest chain, which will end up being cheaper with the ability to bill insurance, and most likely a lot friendlier. read more

Turner Drugs provided amazing customer service while we were at a Disney owned resort this past week. My toddler son developed a nasty heat rash and after calling his pediatrician I was told to bathe him in baking soda three times a day. Well baking soda and products like Aveeno are not products you can buy in Disney's sundries shops. So I finally called Turner after a recommendation from one of Disney's baby care centers and was able to buy Aveeno oatmeal bath, but the employee on the phone told me that they were out of baking soda. However, she said that she would be willing to have her driver stop and pick up some baking soda on the way to delivering the Aveeno to my resort. I cannot tell you how much that made my day after worrying about my son all night. They not only made a special stop to get what I needed, but they provided me with a 4lb. box of it because they knew it was for baths. I felt the prices were fair and the delivery was extremely fast! I had what I needed 2 hours after placing the order. Highly recommend this company especially for those stayng on Disney property with no access to a car. read more
