Hello, I am writing to formally file a complaint regarding my recent interaction with the Walgreens pharmacy team at the Champions Gate location, and to request an immediate review of both the conduct displayed and the decision to refuse my prescription. I have been a consistent and compliant Walgreens patient for over a year, managing my prescriptions through your system without issue. I have maintained an ongoing relationship with my prescribing physician, followed all prescribed directions, and have never requested early refills or engaged in any inappropriate behavior. During my recent call to the Champions Gate pharmacy, I contacted your staff in good faith to request assistance with a refill. I clearly expressed my willingness to follow proper procedures and specifically asked that the pharmacy contact my physician if verification or clarification was needed. I also ensured my doctor had submitted the necessary information. Despite this, I was spoken to in a dismissive and unprofessional manner and was ultimately informed that my prescription would not be filled and that I was "banned." This statement was made without any clear explanation, documentation, or due process. As a patient, I understand that pharmacists have a responsibility to ensure prescriptions are appropriate and compliant. However, patients also have rights, including: * The right to be treated with professionalism, dignity, and respect * The right to clear communication regarding any refusal to fill a prescription * The right to have legitimate prescriptions evaluated in coordination with the prescribing physician * The right to not be arbitrarily denied service without explanation or proper documentation At no point was I aggressive, disrespectful, or noncompliant. My sole objective was to resolve the matter appropriately through your staff and my physician. Given the seriousness of being told I am "banned" and having a prescribed medication refused without explanation, I am formally requesting the following: * A written explanation detailing the reason for the refusal to fill my prescription * Clarification regarding the basis and authority for any claim that I have been "banned" * Confirmation of whether this action was documented in accordance with Walgreens policy * A review of the pharmacist's conduct during this interaction * Guidance on how I may obtain my prescribed medication without further disruption If this matter cannot be resolved promptly, I am prepared to escalate this concern to Walgreens corporate leadership and, if necessary, to the appropriate state regulatory bodies that oversee pharmacy practice and patient rights. My intent is not to create conflict, but to ensure that I am treated fairly, respectfully, and in accordance with established standards of care. read more

This is our newest Walgreens in the area and it is very nice. Really clean and bright. Regardless of being in a highly tourist rich area they usually have the advertised specials on the shelves which is great for the locals. Every time I have gone in I have had experienced extremely welcoming and helpful employees. The plus if this particular location is that they have a separate liquor store attached. This reminds me of when I was growing up when they were in the same store but divided by a metal fencing. This is almost like a separate store now, which is nice to just run in a get something you need and not have to fight the regular Walgreens traffic. Happy Shopping! read more

Came here to get a prescription filled. They didn't have the medication in stock, but the pharmacist was a real jerk about it (hence the 3 stars). There was no need for him to be such an a$$. Every reason I switched from using Walgreens to Publix came flooding back to me just while dealing with him. Sigh. As for the rest of the store: Clean and orderly. TONS of Disney stuff every where. They are really banking on the tourists spending money here. The actual store itself is open 24/7; however, note that the pharmacy IS NOT. So, if you are a tourist and it's the middle of the night and you need some Tylenol, bandages, or a dang Mickey Mouse beach towel, then you'll find it here. read more

Open 24 hours! Good for when you forgot some toiletries when here on vacation. I realized I did not pack any shaving cream and ran over here to pick up a travel sized can. It's only a few minutes drive from our time share across the street from Celebration. Nice store. Clean, bright, organized. Can pick up some food items and other things here too pretty quickly if wanting to avoid the nearby Publix. Seems a bit pricey on some items but since this is a tourist area I guess they are charging for the convenience. What can be found here - Redbox DVD rental, digital photo pickup, open 24 hours, film roll processing, baked goods, pharmacy drive-thru, liquor department (beer & wine), and more among the normal chain store pharmacy offerings. read more

You never know who you'll bump into in this area... one late night we were returning from a munchies trek and there was a lady shrieking in the parking lot... something about a lizard in her window. So I walked over, lower the window, allowed the poor lizard to get away, and removed his severed tail (she shut the window on his tail) and saved the lady from utter terror that she felt from the 2" Iggy. Oh well. Great spot for those souvenirs that you forgot to pick up during the day when the sun was roasting your brain. Open 24 hrs and fully stocked. read more

i had the worst experience getting my passport pictures taken the manager chelsea was extremely rude to me because i was unhappy with the first two pictures she took. i asked her politely to retake the photo she REFUSED. i then explained how this picture is going in my passport book which is very important as well as I AM PAYING FOR IT. she then after negotiation retook my picture for the third time. i was still very unhappy as how could i even take a third photo after chelsea was extremely rude refusing me with attitude. read more

Stopped here to pick up some medicine on the way back from a park. I think it is kind of ironic that a CVS is right across the street from this store. I have a Walgreens card and tend to shop at these stores more often. read more

Wow - this Walgreens truly has it all! There's the usual Walgreens stuff - toiletries, beer, personal care items, etc. This Walgreens goes above and beyond though: *Beer - mentioned before, but bears repeating. After a full day of Fun Time with Mickey, you're going to need it. Stock up. *Any and all Disney souvenirs, so you don't actually have to enter the parks to buy presents for the rugrats back home. *Plastic tiaras. I was tempted. *A cooler full of fresh fruit, cut up veggies, etc. Helps travelers steer clear of both overpriced theme park snacks and the diabeetus. *Backscratchers made from genuine alligator paws (paws? Claws?). I did not know such a thing existed but I'm pretty sure a bunch of people I know are getting these for Christmas. Also, the cashiers are super nice. read more

I went in looking for gloves, sanitizer and other items to help me protect my elderly father! The female manager was so mean to me and not so helpful! In times like these everyone's nerves are shot and kindness goes along way! My father has a blood clot in his lung that makes him very high risk. So before your mean or spiteful to someone maybe think they have a lot going on! read more

What do you do when you're out of town and your camera breaks? You look for a well stocked Walgreens for a temporary replacement. Not only well stocked, but open 24 hours, the photo manager provided me assistance when I was probably frazzled beyond comprehension. Without something to take photos with...even temporarily, I'm lost. Not only was he very helpful but he then took me over to the front register and rang me out. A+++++ service! read more

There is something about this Walgreens where I feel claustrophobic. On one hand, there are a lot of items in the store. However, that's their problem there are too many with small aisles. Creating an experience which is less desired. This is a first for me, I rarely feel this way anywhere. Depending on who you get to assist you, your service will be. I have gone to the photo area and they needed to redo a photo about five times. While, the pharmacy, is fairly friendly and well stocked. read more

I love the location. It's on my way home. The staff is always friendly. As an added bonus, there is a spirits store attached. Prices are reasonable for what it is, and the hours are pretty good. The staff here are Extremely Friendly and Helpful. That's really all I need. Jackie knows her products and her deals... she helped me figure out my shopping list in a flash and saved me money with her better suggestions. What more can I ask for? This is a VeRy good Walgreens. read more

Convenient location since it was right next to our hotel. We were able to pick up some necessities here instead of walking over to the Winn Dixie across the street. There's also a little souvenir section in the store. Pretty busy location. read more

The only reason why I took one star away is when you buy liquor the cashier has to put a code and your birthdate and we was buying three bottles of wine lol it added on like 3 minutes to our check out because the cashier had to call the manager over with a special code. The store is well stocked and 24 hours. The store is very clean and organized. The cashier was friendly and knowledgable. My visit was top notch. read more
