BUYERS BEWARE - SCAMMER…read more We visited the shop as we stayed around the area on vacation. Based on Yelp review, we chose this store out of many others. The store has decent amount of souvenirs and we enjoyed our shopping. The cashier, an older gentleman was friendly during our check out transaction and was chatting with us, and after completing the transaction, gave us a coupon for future visit and 2 free pens. We walked out of the store thinking nothing of it and headed to our next destination. Upon returning home, we then realized we were over charged by 3 extra shirts that ended up costing us additional $30+ that we did NOT purchase. Looking at the receipt later, the man scanned three different shirts an additional time in between other items we purchased. In addition, the man has the computer screen in front him where he can see the exact items scanned. Thus, it's not an accident where the 3 items were repeatedly scanned. This was an attempt to disguise the extra items from showing up repeatedly on the receipt if you don't pay close attention up front. The friendly chatter, the coupons and free pens are an attempt at distracting the customer as they know not many tourists would and can go back to request a refund. Further, we realized the receipt printed "No Refund", and this was no where posted in the store, nor mentioned during check out. Even if we do go back and confront the employee, there is no refund nor anyway to prove this dishonest practice. This is disappointing for a shop that has good reviews on here. Buyers beware, confirm each of your transactions BEFORE payment if you choose to shop at this location.

This is next to the recently re-engineered ride share drop off inside the Pointe Orlando complex. As a long time patron of Pointe Orlando it seems 'fish out of water' to have cars moving inside the dining and shopping venues but not in the garage. However I digress. Moondance is one of those cute tourist shops that has unusual items that you can easily tuck into your suitcase. Not as mainstream as Disney Springs but more of a bohemian flower child vibe. I think this place has options for even the most difficult to please teenagers. The store has a cornucopia of items which means a few minutes to take it all in, which makes for a perfect for a quick shopping fix.

Great time to grab up some savings. I'd shop here for cheap things and infrequent or one time use fashion jewelry. Great for teens and smaller kids. The store itself is small and pretty much impossible to navigate a stroller in, so I'd avoid that if possible. Overall: B+ Fashion jewelry with regular sales. The store supports a variety of local charities, including A Place 4 Grace, Seed of Hope, the Boys & Girls Club of St. Cloud, the Guardian ad Litem Program, Elmer's Kitchen, and many others. 100% of the proceeds are donated to local charities and community causes. The store was neatly organized and offered a great selection of gently used clothing for men, women, and children, along with shoes, books, and household items. Prices were very budget friendly, and they had a number of additional sales, including a $1 clothing rack, 50% off items on the Father's Day gift table, and half-price single glasses and cups. If you're looking to declutter rather than shop, donation days are Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. Whether you're searching for a bargain or want to support worthwhile local causes, Second Chance Thrift is well worth a visit.

First time visiting Polka Dotz, and unfortunately the first impression wasn't great…read more We arrived literally one minute after closing (6:01pm), so I completely understand if store policy is that no additional customers can be helped after hours. That part is fair, and I respect that. What was disappointing was the interaction itself. The door was still unlocked, another customer appeared to still be receiving assistance, and before even a greeting, we were immediately met with, "We are closed." Customer service is often about delivery just as much as policy. A simple friendly explanation--or even directing us to another location--would have made a huge difference. To be fair, when we called the second location, Meghan was incredibly kind and let us know they were open later, which we appreciated. This review isn't about expecting service after closing--it's about first impressions and how customers are spoken to. From a customer service perspective, this could have been handled so differently: a quick hello, an apology that the door was still unlocked, a polite mention of store hours, and perhaps even letting us know the second location was open later. That kind of interaction would have left us wanting to come back. The store looked nice and clean- the response of the other store employee is why there's a strong score. The website has no email.

Polka Dotz with a Z…read more Polka Dotz is a fun little shop that sells a whole bunch of licensed novelty items like those from the Sanrio collection, Disney, and Webkins. You can also find designer items there like Vera Bradley bags. The Good: Lots of Cute: If there's one thing my feminine side really goes nuts for, it is all things cute. I was able to find some really awesome disney items, as well as Sanrio novelties that just made my little inner princess gush. Good Price: While not incredibly cheap, this place has some good deals especially on collectibles. There's a lot of stuff here that would only be available in catalogs, and when you factor in shipping costs, it is definetly better to do your shopping here. The Bad: Too much Stuff, Too little space: There is so much stuff in here, that it is hard to get around the shop without feeling that you are about to knock into something. There are also way too many high shelves. Polka Dotz has a very nice assortment of unique novelties and gifts, and is a great place to shop for gifts for that special collector. Overall 7.6 = Cramped Collectibles

Upon entering the store the first thing you notice is that it is very well lit, and there is a lot of merchandise. I took my time and looked through pretty much everything. I wasn't looking for anything in particular but quite often, I will find items in these stores that make good gifts as well as items that I would like for myself even if I don't get them. They have a lot of Disney themed items as well as Hello Kitty. Currently they have a whole line of Peanuts items featuring Snoopy. I did see some things that I liked, but nothing that jumped out at me and I found quite a few items that people I know would probably enjoy. While I did not buy anything on this trip there were a lot of items that I will keep in mind with birthdays that are coming up in a few months. Inventory does turn over very quickly in these stores and sometimes there are things we will find on one trip and then never see you again. For collectors you really need to figure out if you want to just buy it now before you can't find it again. The employees were very friendly, but they were in the middle of rearranging quite a bit of inventory when I was there. I do shop through the location in the Florida mall frequently and have been known to stop at the location that is nearby. The mall and it was just nice to find another location down here and I have already recommended it to some people, I know that enjoy a lot of the items that they get in these stores. He used to be a fun store for anyone but are especially appealing to a younger audience.
