On my walk up to this area I made a mental note of a few places to stop, this was one of them. Plus it didn't hurt that it was going to be in my direct path back to the hotel. I honestly didn't have a plan when I came in here because I didn't really need much else, but it didn't hurt to look. When I walked in I made my way to the snack/candy section just to do a quick browse. They were having a sale on candy items and I thought why not grab a few. After making my selections I went to the checkout area. This store has a zig zag entrance that forces everyone to go the same route. At first I had no idea where the line was and thought I was meant to go to where the exit it for the area. Finally found the entrance to the check out area. It was quick, especially since I am signed up to receive my receipt via email. Asked if I wanted a bag but I stuffed it in the one I already had. read more

They were a short walk from the hotel, just a couple of blocks. A lot closed than CVS. I went there specifically for a pair of scissors. The aisles were all labeled with signs so I had no trouble finding the scissors. If I need anything else I would return. read more

Located right across the entrance to our stay in Orlando. Had to go get some Advil cold for my daughter. Located at a traffic light which makes the entrance and exit simple given the traffic in the area. The store wasn't that busy when we went and plenty of parking. Pharmacy staff was welcoming and helped get what I needed quickly. We were literally in and out in no time. read more

Whenever I am not feeling good and can't get into my Doctor, the Healthcare Clinic st Walgreens is my go to. The nurse practitioners are always friendly and help me get on the path to feeling better. I love that you visit the clinic and the pharmacy is right there as well to get whatever they prescribe. The employees at this location are always friendly and ready to help, even when purchasing your everyday essentials. For out of town guests this is great place to pick up Orlando and Disney souvenirs as well, believe it or not. Happy Shopping and Be Well! read more

Rude pharmacists. Told me I had to pay the $1,000 dollars for a failed blood sugar syringe....Yelled at me: "this is a private store: we do not help 1800 walgreens". Long story short: they did give me the blood sugar med. The syringe failed. I needed it. I had to spend 5 hours on phone with 1800 walgreens....They DID (this store) give me the medication FREE! I don't need to be yelled at by pharmacists or staff. Not professional! Stay away! I'm just trying to stay healthy, and follow my prescriptions. Getting yelled at by pharmacists is NOT part of good health! I'm looking for a NON WAL---pharmacy...in 34787....I'll let you know what I find. BTW: their posted "pharmacy hours" are for their store. So a young lady with long, light brown hair was so bothered with me politely asking her where I could find something, she slammed what she was holding into a bin and just looked at me. No word. I said if it was too much trouble for her to tell me or show me that it was okay. She quickly left after I decided to just look for it myself. Sad that customer service is rare these days. This was the worst treatment ever from any Walgreens. I find CVS employees are nicer. Have a good life lady. Your dismissal of people looking for help to buy items for a sick child as in my case should never have to be treated the way you treated me. Karma will follow you. read more

Stopped in here a couple of times during vacation for some quick snacks and drinks - something I'm sure they're very used to. Very friendly employees, quick checkout, and layout and cleanliness of the store was top notch. I could get in and get out pretty quickly if I wanted, if only I wasn't distracted by all the things I could spend my money on. (I went in for just one thing--you know how it goes.) Definitely will stop by here again not only for the convenience but the experience was great. And no extra theme park area price gouging--although Walgreen's anywhere in the country is a little more pricey than a grocery store for many things. This Walgreens is in a great location. It has normal prices. They have a wide selection of cute Disney stuff. Also, for all of your tan need, they have one of the best Australian gold collections around town. It is also priced normally! This store is also easily accessible and easy to exit. It has a stop light to turn in and out of the parking lot. There is always plenty of space to park! Easy stop for vacation needs! read more

I've only used the drive-thru pharmacy at this location. It's the closest Walgreens to us open 24/7 and sometimes it's a necessity to have a prescription filled during odd hours. The employees at the drive-thru have always been very friendly and helpful. I've never had to wait longer than 15 minutes to get a prescription filled, but again, when I have one filled here it's generally late at night and they aren't very busy. This is not normally a location I would use on a regular basis because it's located on tourist alley. But, if you do find yourself in need of having a prescription filled in the middle of the night, this is the place. Two thumbs up in that department! read more

This Walgreens has seemingly been here forever. Not much has changed at this location. Like other Walgreens out there, the layout is very similar to others. Cashiers are in the front along the entrance. Parking here is somewhat limited and there's always a line with many out of towners buying necessities. There's a light to exit onto Apopka Vineland but it's still tough to get out during rush hour. read more

Miriam deserves a raise . I had a man following / approaching me saying inappropriate things , and at first asked an older woman if I could pretend to be with her and she ignored me . Meanwhile i told Miriam and she walked with me to the deodorant that I was trying to get when he started hovering .. then at checkout I mentioned it to tyrese and he started keeping an eye out as well cause the guy came around again , then Miriam checked on me again , and had me sit in cosmetics till I was comfortable to leave . And then checked the whole property to make sure he was gone and still walked me out . Above and beyond guest service . She made me feel heard and sage like she cared even though I was just another guest out of 100s. thank you guys and this store !!! read more

Aw yeah, it's a Walgreens. It's 24 hours, and there is also an express clinic in the back of the store next to the pharmacy. My family and I always come to Walgreens to get emergency goods and food because it's so close to where we stay, and it's open anytime. This Walgreens also has quite a bit of Disney items - I recently picked up this super cute and tiny round Christmas Mickey doll for $4 - there are tons of Disney stuffed animals, sweatshirts, and bookbags here. This place also has quite a bit of summery beach items (towels, wraps, etc) Prices are okay, maybe slightly higher than average due to it being 24 hours and right next to Downtown Disney. But hey you really can't complain. read more

I rarely review chains, but this Walgreens deserves five stars--particularly the Minute Clinic. Pro tip: never leave home without your insurance card. Okay, so if you find yourself ill while on an awesome Disney vacation, come to this Minute Clinic. You can book an appointment online and everything. Everyone I dealt with was super nice and took the time to really check me out. I thought I was going blind, people! Second pro-tip: if your contacts are bothering you, take them the f*ck out. One corneal abrasion later and I've learned my lesson. Laura was the nurse practitioner who took care of me, and she was great. Had to go twice in 5 days. Was miss diagnosis with a cold and I had a sinus infection. Was sent with cold meds. Sinus infection got allot worse and returned to get proper meds and now lost hearing in one ear and will now need further medical care. First doctor sat barefoot in chair and I didn't get a good exam. Second doctor did a more thorough exam and got me proper meds. But the damage was already done. The infection and fluids moved into my left ear. ALSO AFTER COMPLETED EXAM. TOLD ME 45 MINUTES TO ONE HOUR TO GET MY MEDS. HORRIBLE PHARMACY .I WATCHED WHILE WAITING PEOPLE NOT BEING WAITED ON. Worse experience ever! Although this place is probably the only 24 hour Walgreens in Orlando, the line was super long, and everything is out of stock by 11pm. They were out of cough drops, cough medicine, and Advil. How is a pharmaceutical retail store be out of medicine? Although they have many other non-pharmaceutical items fully stocked on their shelves, I ended up waiting in line to purchase my orange juice for 30 mins. Maybe it's just a bad experience that one time, but the lines for purchasing are very slow. So come to this location after Midnight. read more

The pharmacist here was so helpful and thoughtful, and made sure I had my meds faxed over and filled within minutes! When you end up forgetting pretty much all of your health and beauty items at home like I did.. this is a great Walgreens to have near your hotel. I thought it was pretty close to Disney and they had a large selection of Disney items as well. The prices are a tad higher than Walmart of course, but still a great choice if you don't want to venture out too far. I was out of town in Orlando when I developed a bad cough. I knew that needed an antibiotic. I wasn't returning home for another 3 days so I decided to go to the Walgreens healthcare clinic. I loved the way I was able to make an appointment online and then sign in electronically. The doctor was very thorough. She even addressed issues that I didn't initially come in for. She called and checked with my doctor at home to make sure the medications being prescribed were acceptable for me. The doctor also gave me a packet full or instructions/information from the visit to take with me. When I walked out of the office, the pharmacist had my medicine ready in about 10 minutes. I appreciated that the staff members went the extra mile during my visit. I would definitely recommend the Walgreens healthcare clinic to anyone. read more

Not too far from the Downtown Disney Hotels - heck, I walked here from the Royal Plaza hotel in search of normal priced bottled water and snacks. Store is big, clean, well stocked, and thus the perfect place to stock up on sodas (found the elusive grape Fanta here) and bottled water for the hotel room or to bring inside the Disney / Universal / Sea World parks and pay normal price and not the three-fold prices inside the parks. read more

On the first day of our recent vacation, my partner came down with a UTI. After rudely being bounced from a popular nearby clinic, we were told to try the clinic at this location. We were apprehensive after reading some pretty shoddy reviews but she was uncomfortable and needed care. We arrived, immediately booking an appointment on a convenient kiosk, and sat down to wait all of 2 minutes before she was called in. We were lucky that insurance covered our trip, but if it didn't, we were told everything would have cost about 150 dollars in total. A small price to pay. She said the doctor was very competent and kind. She was diagnosed within 10 minutes and picked up her prescription in another 15-20 minutes. The pharmacy technicians could have been friendlier but they're incredibly busy so they deserve a pass. My girlfriend and I were thrilled with how quick and easy the whole process was and how kind the doctor was. Can't recommend it enough. read more

This Walgreens is smack in the middle of our tourist town so it is usually pretty busy with people doing as close to full grocery shopping as they can. I stopped in to buy a few items, got to the register, was greeted by a zombie like cashier and then when the system went down she just stood there while everyone else got checked out by other registers. After about 10 minutes of her starring at the computer and calling for he manager that never came she put my stuff back on the counter and pointed across the way to the other cashier and told me to go to her. Wow... I already hate The Tourist attraction called Walgreen's Pharmacy. My goodness. Do they not have Walgreen locations in other countries? This location is the absolute worst. There is always 1 cashier and 20 people in line. The counter tops are sticky, wet, and actually dirty (as in black smears). The cashier didn't speak English and the rest of the employees, including the manager, just seem to hang out. I am a Walgreen's customer and use only their pharmacy...However, I was only at this location to get some wine for the night. Never again!!! Wow! read more

I went to this walgreens because i was on vacation and ran out of insulin, so i went there to purchase a bottle of novolin 70/30 that at home in iowa would cost me 23.00 so i was quite surprised when the pharmacy told me it was 95.00 I just couldnt believe it. How could it cost over 70.00 more in florida than in iowa. that just floored me, i will never again shop at walgreens. read more
