This Ralph's is A-OK. Not great, but not terrible either…read more Located in the Hillcrest Park Shopping Center, this shopping center is definitely older and in dire need of a total redo. But for what it is able to offer, it offers a decent shopping experience, making this Ralphs my preferred go to lately. I've had some bad service run-ins lately at the Brea Ralphs on Imperial Hwy Route 90. The plus side of this Ralphs location is how close it is to a Ralphs Fuel Center. If you shop Ralphs frequently enough, you can leverage those Ralphs customer loyalty points into fuel discounts. Realistically you could be looking at 20 cents off a gallon, which can sometimes place you to a better price than even the Costco Gasoline stations scattered all over Southern California. As far as the store itself, inside there are all the stations you expect to find in a Ralphs. Front end, bakery, deli, meat/seafood, produce, and a bunch of grocery/frozen aisles in between. With that said, for those of you who come from different Kroger stores like Fry's Food and Grocery (Arizona) or King Sooper (Colorado) don't expect there to be a Home & Garden section or an Electronics section let alone Furniture department. I have my theories why they don't exist in most Southern California Ralph's stores, but let's save that for another time for discussion. All in all, it's a grocery store with decent offerings backed by one of the most lucrative grocery chain names in the USA. The extra star comes from the extra effort Ralphs puts into necessary perks like discounted gas, much-needed renovations and diverse product offerings make this Ralphs attractive to shop at.

Then one day (maybe 10+ years ago) my doctor prescribed cholesterol Meds. One pill. I get the prescription and it's for rosuvastatin. The label says 1mg. The pill is no bigger than a grain of rice. For 10+ years I am taking this pill and thinking what is this little thing going to do but kept taking it. Fast forward new insurance in 2024 new pharmacy. I fill my rosuvastatin, it comes back with a normal size pill and it says 30mg. I argue with the new pharmacist but she explains this particular medication does not come in 1mg. Today I go to get my pneumonia shot, I need due to asthma. New pharmacist ask if I got shot last year I say yes. It's not in the system. I remember the day I got this shot because I got a total of 4 shots that day. They never entered it in the system. I have the paperwork and I am going to find it and see what can be done. I did not keep an old bottle of the rosuvastatin so can't prove anything there. Switch in insurance was a blessing in disguise. But I'm wondering what else did the fill incorrectly and/or other shots (Covid etc) did they not put in the system. If there was a way for 0 stars that's what I would use. So if you get your meds from them make sure it's correct. Double check with you physician. With everything sent in electronically there's no paperwork to read before giving it to the wacky pharmacy.

Well, we went to Walmart, and they didn't have any:( So I started a telephone campaign calling every major brand of drug store in our area starting with CVS and going alphabetically. No luck. It was around the time I got to Walgreens that the nice gentleman I was speaking to, told me to try calling Linda Vista. I called Linda Vista Pharmacy and they were SO nice and helpful. Yes, they do carry nebulizers and we were able to get one quickly. They require a prescription, so they had to work with our pediatrician to get one, but all worked out fairly easy. The pharmacy itself is located at 4300 Rose Drive which is a big complex of Doctors' offices. There is tons of parking and the pharmacy is clean. We will be back!
