    Update, issue finally resolved: after driving to several different CVS locations to track down the…read moreprescription, the original pharmacist went out of their way to figure out a way to get my wife, her meds. I appreciate that person and what they ended up being able to do, however, the journey was extremely difficult. My one star is for the CVS infrastructure, which is extremely detrimental to customers and their employees. I had previously written a positive review saying they tried their best to help me track down my meds despite an inaccurate inventory system. They were able to fill 1 of 2 prescriptions and said they would transfer the other prescription to a store that had the other prescriptions in stock. After waiting a while for them to transfer, we rushed off to the other store with only a few minutes to spare before they closed. After driving 10 miles from this store to the other store, arriving 7 minutes before they closed, we learned that the prescription wasn't transferred at all. When the other store called this pharmacy to get the verification needed to fill the prescription, since it was so close to closing, this store picked up and immediately HUNG UP on the other CVS pharmacist trying to help us. Now, because of how this prescription transfer was handled, there is no way to fill the prescription without contacting this location and having them fix their mistake

Setting aside how you may feel about their political behavior, it's just not a good place to shop anymore. Today I was there and they had no lint roller refills. Not out of stock, they just don't carry them anymore. A wall of essentially identical new rollers with wasteful plastic handles. Presumably they make more selling the new sets and plastic waste be damned. An entire aisle of fruit gummies and applesauce squeezy packets, not a single package of raisins. In the entire store, not even the yogurt-covered ones (c'mon, they're basically candy- surely you can squeeze those in w the other sugary garbage?). The carts at this specific store either roll badly or not at all. I could go on and on. They're all tiny little nit-picky things which seem petty to even complain about, but they add up. I guess the people who make these decisions are betting (praying?) that people will keep shopping in spite of it. *They don't care if you complain as long as you keep spending.* The only thing consumers can do is vote w our feet. So that's what I'm doing.

    It is difficult to rate their overall review when what they provide technically is a unique market…read morevalue, which is HIGH but the GAP between their technical capabilities and their customer service, being low end is larger than it should be. The lack of transparency to an order status or completion date unnecessarily non-existent. The customer service via phone for an order in their queue for one calendar week made a commitment to us of "come pick it up in 3 days" via phone call on Monday Sept 15th". Upon physically arriving the 18th, the front counter person looks to find it is not done & immediately responds with "it isn't ready and I cannot tell you WHEN it will be ready ". I had already told her about the customer service phone call about the "pick it up in 3 days" . There is the beginning point of "the gap"... I don't understand why the business finds it appropriate to basically leave a customer with this statement expecting them to merely walk away and accept this answer. I felt uncomfortable but did say I could not leave until I can get a real "when" answer because our son is out of med, is home sick and I came because of the Monday's phone call commitment. (Should a customer have to draw a boundary like this?) She noted she saw the phone call on Monday but would not share anything more and became quiet while reading her monitor. I was told to take a seat as she went back to inquire. She takes a few steps back to speak with a person on the manufacturing floor, who asks for other help and two other other people come to her station. They have a quiet discussion and looking at the monitor for a few minutes. (I get a few glances back at me, okay) All this is fine, I understand .. (I had a career in production manufacturing for 45 years in heavy process driving products as Belmar Pharmacy has). However, the front desk person comes back to say finish "tomorrow, but there are no guarantees". This is the moment where the customer service begins to become boarder-line "no customer service". There is more energy on deflecting a customer than there is with being openly honest and visible as to why they cannot commit to a date and time to return for pick up. I did get an apology but honestly at this point, all we needed was a commitment. I asked if we could pay an expedite fee. I was told to call customer service because she didn't know (SMF). I don't understand, the front desk order pick up isn't considered part of customer service experience? The customer service phone center who told us to come pick up in 3 days isn't part of the front desk pick up process? I left not knowing at all when meds would be ready.
