The bakery at this store used to be pretty good. Today it is awful. Their doughnuts are bland and tasteless. Yesterday I brought home shepherd's bread that was doughy and not fully baked. Heading to King Soopers bakery from now on. read more

The store was a complete mess today. More than usual. Aisles blocked with merchandise to be stocked , the people who shop for other people blocking the aisles with their carts, and the shelves were empty! This store has been going down hill for quit sometime now. Produce will only last a day or two after buying. You really have to look at any fresh produce, because it is not the best quality. Walking past the fish counter; it smells fishy! Great indication the fish is no good! Never enough checkers to check people out. This store needs to get their act together. read more

Every time I shop here there are sale signs on the shelves that do not ring up at the register. Not once or twice--always. Every week; every month. Their strategy seems to be false advertising and ripping off everyone who doesn't pay close attention and call over an attendant to "fix the oversight". This location is not your typical Safeway but more like Whole Foods. The store is meticulously clean and organized not to mention the large selection of natural and healthy food. They have a bulk food section, sushi bar, deli offering fresh made sandwiches as well as a hot wing bar. There's also a Starbucks and Jamba Juice bar inside the store too! Everything you can imagine they have it! Did I tell you about the freshly roasted coffee beans? Yes, the Conifer blend is a must try if you're into coffees! The seafood counter is very nice too offering a variety of fresh/previously frozen fish, mussels, poké too. Best of all, the staff is always so friendly and ready to help! read more

Lots of sales due to redesigning the store for the wine section. The reason that I did 3 versus 5 stars is that the cashier kept complaining how many items I had (almost 200) all 50% off. It was annoying, and I even found myself apologizing. Why?! I thought after....this is her job. read more

Soooo good to be in a grocery store that's clean, nice looking produce, reasonable prices AND pleasant staff that make you feel appreciated as a customer. This particular time we had to pick up a weekends worth of groceries for a long weekend in Aspen. The produce was very nice looking, but just a little bit less than ripe, but hey- what else are you gonna do with a brown paper bag? What really drove me to write this review tho..... a little package of what are called "Strawberry Pillows". WHOAAAAA! Fresh, flaky croissants, stuffed with big, beautiful, sweet strawberries, and smothered with creamy, scrumptious Cool Whip. Yes, really. read more

Still crap!!!!!!!!!! Had to refill a prescription that was called into this store. So glad i only have one refill left. The pharmacist was rude, and acted like i was unconvincing her. Then she charged me. We met our deductable months ago. Ripped us off. Went ahead and did our grocery shopping to get it done. What a mistake. The grouchy woman still works here. Instead of bagging our purchases, she stood there and complained that they needed to call help. Ended up bagging my own yet again. Will go back to get my final prescription refi, after that, ill only stop to use the toilet. read more

I do like shopping here. The employees are very nice and they have a good selection. Recent problems though have been very frustrating. Quality control. I purchased hamburger buns and herbed butter that were both moldy when I unpacked them at home- and customer service wouldn't let me return them because of COVID. Really?! I get not taking the product back, but no refund either?! So basically every purchase is a gamble now. Also, there aren't enough checkout people, like ever. The wait is ridiculous. Also, getting to see Tommy is always the highlight of my shopping experience!! He's the best! read more

This is doe the pharmacy, not the rest of the stores. I DO like the grocery, hence three stars Pharmacy: I've been going here about three months, and every time, I've had to come back two or three times before they have my stuff ready. They also lost an order my doctor called in, which was annoying. It's a good thing I keep backups of all my meds, or I'd be out before Geri g refills each time. I've been I this store a total of 4 times now. Time 1: checker broke salsa jar, said they couldn't get another for us and didn't refund the salsa. Just chalked it up to bad luck for me. Time 2: ran in for milk & a couple other things without an issue. Time 3: bought some beautiful steaks & crab claws & other goodies. I tried to chit chat with the gal behind the counter with now avail. Maybe she didn't want to talk about my awesome dinner I'm about to have....oh well...So far so good Time 4: bought 4 bags of ice & forgot them. Whenever I buy ice at KS they always put in my basket for me. So, I called, the MOD on duty said no problem come back, tell them you spoke to me & you can get your ice. Great! The following day I did that. I asked where the ice was, I was given a 'directional point' to the location. I asked where because I don't know where you are pointing to. Got the feeling the person 'helping' me didn't want to help. I finally found the ice, grabbed my bags and left. Maybe she was the same person that broke my salsa jar. Doesn't matter if it was because I most likely will not be shopping there again. Which is unfortunate because their food and prices are good. The customer service is extremely sub-par. read more

Stopped by Safeway and got about 60 bucks in groceries for my trip; I went to total out and I had grabbed a 6 pack of beer and the self check out assistant then asked for my ID and of course I showed him the ID and he then typed it into the computer BUT THEN THE DUDE GRABBED MY SIX PACK THAT I JUST PAYED FOR and had the fucking balls to ask if it was alcoholic?!? He than sat there and stared at the bottles making me wait even after I payed for them I then had to break his ohh so deep concentration and ask him if there was anything wrong and he asked "did you pay for it?" Like no the computer just asked for my ID for fun?! Wtf?! Safeway don't hire people who don't have common sense please. Aka Tyler gg buddy played yourself. read more

Very nice store that is horribly managed. They are always, and I mean always understaffed with cashiers. Every time I go, there is one or maybe two cashiers out of about 12 Lanes available and customers are backed up into the aisles. Never anyone in the customer service center. Needs more workers!!! It is a shame as it is a beautiful store with good amenities. Please get new managment. read more

This Safeway has everything you could possibly want and or need. A nut bar, sushi bar, sandwich bar, gourmet foods, great selection of gluten free foods, Starbucks and Jamba Juice, etc. There's a gas station with a great car wash (when it's open). The Just4You app makes pricing even more affordable. The hours are okay for the pharmacy, but my main gripe is the selection. They never seem to have my medications ready and I always have to wait several days for new medications. My kid's nebulizer meds? "That will be four days." My kid's oral steroids? "I'll give you some today, then come back Monday for more." No matter what it is, they never have it stocked and it's always "come back tomorrow" or "come back next week". I feel like we live in the old west. My last pharmacy in town would text me when things were ready and it was always hours if not minutes, never days. Also- I've lived Conifer for the better part of my life. Safeway should realize that there is a high school lunch rush from 11-1pm. Get more than one cashier on, please. The cashiering seems minimal for the size of the store. read more

This is the most beautiful grocery store I have ever seen. They do an amazing job of keeping things looking nice and having really cool displays that make you feel like you're in a fancy shopping mall not a grocery store. I love this store, & I consider it upscale. When we make our way to our cabin, this is where we stop. It's neat and clean, and even has a Starbucks & Jamba Juice inside. But the main reason I like it is the food selection. The fresh food section is FRESH, with lots of veggies and fruit to choose from. They also have a nut and granola section. I love the fact that it has lots of different daily prepared food...sandwiches, chicken, soup, Asian, and others. The cheese and sandwich meat selection is the best I've seen. You can find fancy cakes, donuts, bagels, and cookies. It's never too crowded, and the people are friendly. I am willing to pay a little more for the wide selection they have. I highly recommend it. read more

I am not the one to take the time rate groceries stores but this one was so exceptionally bad I must..... Horrible. The sad part is that this place used to be top notch. I had not been there in a couple of years and today was quite the experience. Half of the meat and produce shelves were completely empty. I could not get ground chicken, zucchini, or sugar free dried mango. Worse yet, the place was TRASHED..corn husks on the floor, dirty wet bins with decaying produce, trash in the aisles. I have seriously never seen anything like it. Then I get home only to find that 2 pounds of grass pound beef I purchased expired 4 days ago. There goes 16$. read more

It's impressive for a grocery store- make your peanut butter bar, large bakery, gifts, a Starbucks and a Jamba Juice. It's so big it was hard to find the one item I needed bottled water. I am sure they have anything you need it's one of the largest nicest grocery stores in the area. They even have a drive thru pharmacy and a gas station for those Safeway gas discounts. read more

We hit this spot on are way to the mountains all the time and it is pretty swanky for a mountain grocery store. I have looked but not yet purchased the sushi as we are usually making a picnic lunch. I like the self checkout and the handy Starbucks (course there is another starbucks right around the corner- go figure). read more

This is my go-to grocery store. I would take this place over King Soopers any day. Less crowded and they have a ton of allergy friendly foods. Also, their reward system is pretty awesome. I love the fact that I can load coupons and deals to my membership card. read more
