From a reluctant Mexican food person...those tacos were blessed." (He is Canadian and also not religious...so, this is unheard of...) We are in town for a couple more days...and plan to go back before we leave. We also purchased some of their salsas! Yum...all different, but lovely. The food is consistently excellent. We've ate here four times so far and haven't been disappointed once. My personal favorites so far are the enchiladas and the fajitas. In my opinion a lot of places tend to overcook the meat in fajitas, but not here. The meat has always been tender, and the seasoning is spot-on. The staff at Donna Maria are professional, welcoming, and attentive, which makes the experience even better. The restaurant space itself isn't huge, but it's comfortably sized, and we've never had to wait for a table. If you're in the Golden area and craving quality Mexican food, this place is definitely worth checking out.
