BEST TACO TUESDAY IN ALL COLORADO.... My husband and I went today to enjoy TACO TUESDAY.....we each ordered the Combo (one fish taco, one chicken, one carnitas). I cannot say which taco was the best.......each one better than the other one....very abundant, delicious tortillas (I had the corn, my husband had the flour ones) and they garnish each taco with fresh lettuce, tomato, sour cream, salsas.......THE BEST. Brian and his Team make an excellent cooking......really delicious and they are very customer oriented....friendly and nice. Everything is very clean, very fresh, deliciously and previously marinated.....yummie!!!!! Nice place to stop by and have your tacos while sitting there. Congratulations, I highly recommend you stop by and try any of their delicious foods in their menu (they have quesadillas too)....TACO TUESDAY AT THE GENERAL STORE IN KITTREDGE IS A MUST. read more

This store used to be a charming staple in our small community--a true general store that felt welcoming, personal, and cared for under the previous owner, Brian. We were in there almost every day. But since the new ownership took over, everything that made it special has been lost. The focus now seems to be purely on profit. Prices have skyrocketed, the breakfast burritos (which used to be amazing) have been completely changed and are now barely edible, and we were just sold (on June 3rd) hot dog and hamburger buns that we later discovered had expired-- hot dog buns that had expired in April and hamburger buns in May. Unfortunately, we only realized it after eating them. The changes haven't just affected the quality--they've changed the entire feel of the place. The building and retaining walls have been painted in hideous, jarring colors. Spray-painted arrows now cover the pavement, and there's a strange year-round display out front with a plastic angel and palm tree that make the place feel tacky and confusing instead of quaint. To top it off, they're hand-feeding deer in front of the store. My husband literally had to walk around the deer and the person feeding it just to get inside. What once felt like a local gem now feels like just another convenience store. Cold, impersonal, and disappointing. There are even concerning rumors that a makeshift storage area in the back is being used as a place to live, which raises serious health and safety concerns. It's a real shame to see such a beloved place lose its soul. read more

The burritos are pretty darn good. While I hear that things are different after the owner switch I personally like the place a lot. Hard workers, friendly service. The in building kitchen serves up good food! read more

I am terribly disappointed, that the new owners have decided to continue on with Brian's labels for the burritos. The ingredients are not the same at all. I will never be back. Sad day for me. read more

Very clean store and restroom. Owner and daughter were very friendly. Store was organized and spotless! Definitely would recommend!! Keep up the good work Jason!! read more

Cool little convenience store. Simple things you may be missing they may have. Kitchen has good foods but be sure to understand it's not a full kitchen in open hours of everything they make. But over all event foods. read more

Great, friendly & knowledgeable staff! I stopped in for the first time and got the Brian's Good Eats breakfast burrito with bacon, egg, potato, onion, sweet peppers, cheddar cheese. Great selection to choose from, at a reasonable price. I definitely recommend! read more

This is a regular stop on my bike ride - we usually stop to refill water bottles, use the bathroom, and buy sweet and salty provisions. water refill is a regular water sink - not a soda fountain. One unisex bathroom that is pretty clean and decent selection of snacks. I've seen the taco counter and all the yelpers talking about the tacos - makes me want to go when it's taco time! read more

Best local store in and around the surrounding communities. Brian has owned this store for nearly 20 years and has done a superb job of managing the store along with the customers. Food is great! It is what you need... read more

I've lived near this convenience store my entire life and have never had a single issue. Brian's Good Eats makes incredible food every week, everyone who works there always gives wonderful service, and I believe recently they started giving reusable bags when you ask for a bag at purchase at the general store. Nothing but great things to say. Keep it up Kittredge General Store and Brian's Good Eats read more

Brian stocks the store with local, high-quality foods at a reasonable price. All of the foods prepared in-house are excellent - the Breakfast Tacos are a staple for my kids, and Taco Tuesday is weekly tradition. read more

Kittredge, Colorado- Perfect for those that live in the boonies! We have a home in Indian Hills and it's always a production to get to a market; the closest is a 29 minute drive-or so I thought! This mix between a gas station and a general store saved the day with last minute recipe needs. There is a small selection of fresh produce and what's really neat is the kiosk that daily prepares fresh burritos, salsa, and guac. I love guac and am a self-proclaimed guac snob with high standards. Honestly, I thought this was slightly below average- it had too many spices that overpowered the natural flavors of the avocado and onion. For the new-to-guac person, it may be fine. I'm eager to try the freshly made-to-Oder veggie tacos during a future visit. They also have carne asada, chicken, fish, and combo options available. The staff are stellar. It's rare that somebody asks, "How are you?" while attentively and genuinely awaiting a response. It's nice to see some human in humans. I guess I stuck out like a sore thumb (weird phrase isn't it?) because I was asked if it was my first time to the store and was warmly welcomed. read more

Had the breakfast burritos after hearing great things and they did not disappoint! Fresh ingredients, lots of choices, wonderful flavor. The service was great as well! I'll definitely be back. read more

Fresh fast food in a gas station--what more can you ask for? They usually have a supply of breakfast burritos ready to go. Taco Tuesday is a huge hit with the locals. Flour or corn; carne asada, chicken or fish; served street taco style. The Kittredge General Store is great as well--fresh fruits and veggies, organic ice cream. Not your typical convenience store! read more

My husband and I were out for a drive and stopped in for information. What a friendly place and with really good fresh home made breakfast burritos. I understand their Tacos served on Tuesday are also fresh and really good. We were told of places where we could go to get good pictures and eat our burritos. Next time I'm in Kittredge I'll stop in again. read more

Who knew......Love Taco Tuesday! Made on the spot for you and in front of you...I had the sword fish tacos today and looking forward to the other options. Great prices, quality and quantity. Best burritos ever!! Incredible choices of breakfast burritos (chorizo!) in addition to their regular burrito selections (carne asada, yum!). My husband can't get enough of their green salsa which comes as a side with the burritos. Their fish taco's are also delicious but aren't a daily item. We make sure to stock up on burritos on our way through Kittredge every time we go to Colorado for vacation :) read more
