Before Buc-ee's and Maverik turned every road trip into a full-blown gas station experience, we had the Squatch Store! This place had everything you needed: decent snacks, a hot griddle, and enough Bigfoot swag to make you wonder if Sasquatch himself was running the register. It's a fun little roadside stop with a lot of character. No giant beaver statues or fancy travel center vibes, just good old-fashioned snacks, food, and a whole lot of Bigfoot. A true hidden gem from the days before every gas station became a destination! read more

Stopped here on the way to a hike. I was roped in by the fruit stand on the side and thought to explore the store to make it a mini adventure. Great stop! Very touristy with clothing, snacks, nick-nacks, good restrooms. Perfect place for the family to stretch their legs on a long drive or fill up on gas. read more

The Lady Working On 07-08-2026 around 11:50am is EXTREMELY RUDE! My husband went in to get gas. He did a different transaction for tobacco, and he told the lady pick me whatever ones sell soft & the lady working had huge attitude and told him "well my soft and your soft are two different things so so he paid for items and went about his day. He came the the vehicle and the pump wasn't working. I myself went back in explained what was going on out at the pump and she's like what pump gave her the number and she then tells me " Well the pump timed out so there's your reason" I told her dang that's pretty quick for him just coming out for it to timeout that quick and then she says well he purchased more stuff. But within maybe 6 maybe 7 mins of being in the store all together the "well that's because the pump timed out" . I've never experienced such horrible customer service! Whoever has her working please explain to her thats not how treat a customers), especially when they didn't do any of the angry they gave off. Coming from a woman who has a small family owned business who travels through almost everyday and would stop for fuel + Snacks ect unfortunately I won't be doing any more of mv business here. read more

Very much open. If you are going to almost die on the highway, this is the place to land. Weird tire issue ended in falling off in their lot. Gracious, helpful (brought a jack & cones), more worried about me than truck blocking the way. read more

Yesterday, we awoke early in the Longmont, and thought, "Where should we get a burrito?" Well we know full well the best in the state are at the Squatch. So we loaded up the car, set out, and braved both heavy fog and massive ski traffic to get that Chorizo heaven in a tortilla! Now, a trip to the Squatch is never going to be uneventful....before they fixed the parking lot, I watched a guy back into the old light post that was smack in the middle. And yeah, that outside portopotty can get pretty awful. But as a frequent traveler there, I'll say the staff is awesome, friendly, and human. They deal with tourists all day, and so if you walk in with a 'tude, they'll likely give it back. But I've never gotten anything from them except smiles and good food. And those sparkling clean indoor bathrooms are more spacious than the ones we have at home! But, I digress. We stocked up on burritos, Gatorade and coffee, and headed back to Longmont with yummy food in our bellies, arriving home 3 and a half hours after leaving. Now, it's possible that we ended up turning around and bailing on a ski day because someone in the car was feeling really sick. It's also possible we did a 3:30 round trip just for their food. We stop here for a rest break and snacks. They had a lot of snacks and food to choose from. Definitely grab a breakfast burrito! They are delicious! Stay away from the gum though, it stale and hard as a rock read more

I filled up 3 gas containers. Two 6 gallon tanks and one 2.5 gallon tank. Pump read 16 gallons pumped. Thats not "a little off", its a lot off. I think I will get my gas somewhere a bit more accurate. read more

Wow...rude service and though they say they have good prices THEY DON'T. About the only good thing was the gas price and the condition of the bathrooms. read more

The gas station/convenience store is extremely expensive and while they do offer some food options, the place did not look clean enough that I would have eaten there. The employees were friendly and the bathrooms were okay. read more

Bomb ass breakfast burritos, clean bathrooms, super friendly staff. Super excited when we get here before closing on our way to go gambling.

This is an excellent touristy store. I can't believe I've lived Colorado almost all my life, have driven I-70 countless times, and never discovered this store until now. In my defense I hardly ever take the Central City exit. This store is fabulous! I didn't know Sasquatch/Yeti stuff was a thing in this area, but the related souvenirs are plentiful. I bought an adorable stuffed Sasquatch (couldn't resist!) and a Sasquatch gnomlin. Along with souvenirs the store has a wide variety of snacks. It's almost a mix of Rocket Fizz and World Market, with some old time candies and European candies. There's also fudge! I opted for a gourmet rice krispy treat that had coconut - delicious! Perfect first stop on our leaf peeping day trip in the mountains. I'd even make a special stop in the future to see what's new. read more

Great food, very cheap, friendly service! Awesome atmosphere!! Great menu of broaster chicken, bbq that was smoked in house, and breakfast sandwiches made fresh every morning!! Couldn't ask for more in a gas station. read more

Great rest stop store with lots of food and clean bathrooms. The staff is honest and trustworthy, I left my bag there and an honest customer left it with the store and the store held onto my bag for 4 days because I drove 3 hours away during my trip to Colorado. I highly recommend stopping here! read more

I have driven up to the mountains but until this past fall I never gave this shop a second thought. Erin H. and I stopped here to get gas and snacks for our fall foliage trip and I was surprised how fun it is! It has typical convenience store snacks and drinks as well as old-timey candies and kitschy gifts. Definitely a fun stop if you are on your way to Black Hawk or Central City. read more

This store is amazing. Their fresh breakfast burritos are my favorite burritos to get and I get them every single time I pass by

Lovely little roadside market with anything you might need while driving along I-70! Immaculate restrooms and extremely friendly and helpful employees. Definitely would recommend stopping here! read more

Tourist trap on the way to Aspen. Overpriced knickknacks and long lines for the restroom. Port-o-potty horror in the parking lot. Keep driving, a little bit down the highway you'll find better options. read more

If you blink, you may miss this store. I absolutely love this store. The underlying theme is Sasquatch collectible novelty items. But, there are hundreds of other really unique things to look st here. The owners stock their shelves from unique nationwide stores. I have found everything from a one of a kind birdhouse to hand carves stone turtles for your garden. Lastly, they carry products, candy and drinks from decades past. Makes it a fun mountain stop! I totally recommend you come see this hidden gem right inside our own Rocky Mountains, you won't be disappointed. read more

Awesome people running the store! Our family's car broke down and we were able to get to the store and get a tow. The owners let my 3 year old son, my mother and I just stay in the store for 2 hours while the car got repaired! That is customer service! Thank you Squatch store! read more

This is the nicest and friendliest store in town! We always stop here on our way up the hill to the casinos. Michelle, Brandon and the other young lady are so friendly and helpful! Their homemade breakfast burritos are the best around and their fountain drinks are cheap and good!! We like it so much we bought one of their souvenir Sasquatch hoodies to wear around town! Great place and nice folks! read more

I would give this place a ZERO STAR rating. We stopped into this store to grab some snacks and use the restroom, and the old man with a beard (which we found out next door that he is the owner) was completely rude and vicious when my mom asked where the restroom was. We were here visiting because my brother had passed away, so to have that experience of that guy being so rude was out right uncalled for and disgusting. Don't give this man your business! The small shop next door was very kind and helpful though, I would go there. read more
