I have moved to Colorado from Ca, 2 years ago. My PTSD was not showing any signs of improving. I never left our home, and when I did, my service dog had to work the entire time to keep me stable. Since moving to Colorado, my service dog had to retire due to severe arthritis. I've been working with trainers on my new service dog. (We still have our original dog too) in he just completed the Colorado K-9 Federal/Prison training program. Ok that's my back story..... I am now able to go to stores (my husband is still in the store) shop by myself with no anxiety, fear, PTSD panic episodes. Now for Walmart: we are greeted in a very friendly manner when we arrive. Employees say hello to me, I am not self conscious or fearful that the store is angry. I want to thank Walmart for the kind treatment and respect I am given. The Walmart at 13420 W Coal Mine Ave in Littleton used to be a good place to shop, but unfortunately that has changed. Prices have increased significantly--items in the cosmetics department that once cost around $10 are now $13 to $15. Clothing prices have also gone up, yet much of the selection is still low-quality polyester with very few natural fiber options, making it hard to justify paying $30 or more. Another frustrating issue is that many makeup and personal care items are now locked behind glass, but there often seems to be no staff nearby to assist customers. The store's recent reconfiguration has also made shopping more difficult, as items have been moved around and there is rarely anyone available to help locate them. Overall, the shopping experience has declined enough that it no longer feels worth it to shop there. At this point, stores like Target or Walgreens offer a more convenient and satisfying option for cosmetics and clothing. read more

Half an hour after checking in for pick up still waiting. No one picks up the phone. Dreadful customer service. Never again.

It's impossible to reach a person at this location on the phone. I placed an order for pickup, but instead of being able to pick it up anytime in a 4 day window, as I've been doing for years, they made me select a specific date and time. There are no groceries in my order, nothing that needs refrigeration or freezing. I don't know why they've changed from a 4 day window to a one hour window. The main problem is I'm stuck at work and not able to pick up the order exactly when I'm scheduled. I can head there a few hours late, but there's no way to tell if the order will still be there for me or if they will have canceled it. The email they sent warning me I must pick up my order within 30 minutes is irritating and not helpful. I live in the foothills with no Walmart nearby, and It's a very long 45 minute drive to get to this one, which is the closest one. I don't want to get there only to find out it's a wasted trip. So frustrating I can't reach anything but a phone recording. The customer service at this store is non-existent. If I could shop somewhere else, or have stuff delivered I would. Delivery is not an option in my rural area. (And shipping with FedEx only has a 50/50 chance of being delivered to the right place - they frequently dump packages in random ditches, not just for me but for everybody in my community.) I started using the online order and delivery option from this Walmart and initially it was great but recently several orders were either delivered to my neighbors or today only one item, frozen peas, was delivered out of a $80 order. I got a refund however, I still don't have the items so I will have to go to the store myself, totally defeating the purpose of online/delivery service. So frustrating!! When I tell friends that I shop at Walmart, they look at me if something is wrong. I happen to live close to one of the cleanest, friendliest, and nicer Walmarts around town and they went above and beyond with a recent cake order that I placed. Ordered a two tier, unicorn birthday cake for my daughter and not was only shocked by the quality of the cake, but their customer service as well. The cake was delicious with chocolate and vanilla cake, strawberry filling, and a very craftily decorated exterior. They even called me to the verify the online order and recommend a different frosting due to the construction of the cake?! Not lying, they need a shout out for all the sh*t they take from the public. read more

But this loation was actually easy to navigate, that or I know where exactly where to go to get what I need to spend as little time as I can since all Walmarts are set up basically identical. The Deli and Hot foods sections were clean and fully stocked and check out was simple and hassle free. I really dont expect much from the employees but they were not as egregious as I was expecting, so thats a plus. A might return to this location when Im in the area. read more

Have you ever seen a Walmart that hasn't been locked down with endless aisles of locking cases? Well, this store still believes there is good in humanity! Has a lot of their collectibles out on store shelves, properly displayed and purchaseable. Which is interesting, since they also have a few people readily available in electronics to assist with anything as well. Only downside; Most of their video games are older versions of stuff, or just the brand new, overly-hyped releases. No obscure treasures here. read more

Had a horrible experience with an employee in the toy isle, she got so worked up that she went and got her manager and asked her to kick me out of the store! There was a sweet old lady with white hair working in the toy department, who is very kind, but it was another lady with long brown hair who was the rudest employee I have ever met. This was all because I asked to buy a case of Hot Wheels off the pallet that was on the floor already, she said that I was not allowed to buy anything, and that she was taking all the cases to the back room. I told them that I have known of Walmart stores where employees will search through the Hot Wheels cases in the back and then buy the cars that they want on their lunch break before the customers have a chance. So these employees refused to sell me a product that was already on the store floor because they want to buy it themselves. I will be reporting this incident to corporate because this is very wrong and should not be happening. read more

This used to be a great store! But after yesterday I will never shop in this location again !! Tried to do self check out but only had 15 items per self check out !! Store was empty at 1pm yesterday but there was an employee shouting at customers only 15 items per self check out ! I had a woman in front of me who clearly had more than 15 items but store was empty so that's ok! Other lines were extremely long ! But this employee continued to harass this woman checking out and then shouted at me and my 4year old son ! I told her that's not exceptable behavior for her to shout at people and she ran at me screaming and shouting! I left and went to another line as my son became upset! The bathrooms (Womens) are COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE. The stalls and toilets are not wiped down at all. Same marks on the walls for weeks, human feces are left on the toilets for days. Not sure why this store has such a low score considering it's one of the nicer Walmarts in Denver area. Go to the lakewood Walmart and you will see trash everywhere and trashy people throughout. You will actively see people stealing, leaving food and just being awful. You won't see any of that here. It's just a solid, clean store with a good atmosphere. You don't even see a horde of homeless outside smoking like most Walmarts. This place is nice in comparison. You couldn't even upload most pictures of these people to people of Walmart because they actually look normal. read more

Once again I would like to praise the customer service of an individual named Rex. This guy works in the media/computer/entertainment section at this location and he is AWESOME! The girl working in the vision center was super unhelpful. Told me I had to have the paper copy of my prescription when I had a picture of it on my phone. I have never had to have a paper copy in my life so I found that to be absolutely ridiculous. So I ordered off Walmart.com with the picture of my prescription because the Walmart itself wouldn't take the picture. Never have I had this issue at any other Walmart. Also all she was doing was sitting around on her phone not helping anyone. Didn't stand up to say hello when I walked in cause she was too busy playing on her phone I guess. I always do my grocery shopping first thing in the morning, right when the stores open. I went to check out and no lights were on, indicating only self check out was available. Which I knew couldn't be correct. So I find the cashier that is open but doesn't have her light on. It was clear she purposely did this as she was visibly upset with the amount of items I had in my cart. This is not my problem. This is literally your job. She never spoke a word to me through out the transaction. No hello. But she certainly did with the lady before me, that had only two items. I get anxiety going into this place, really any WalMart really. My biggest problem in all Walmart's and especially this one is the customer service. Cashiers are usually friendly, but that's it. It's impossible to find help sometimes, especially if you need anything in electronics. Employees seem to avoid contact, you literally have to chase one down to get help. I've had multiple experiences where employees seem perturbed that I'm asking for help or they have to leave what they are doing and go help someone. My recent experience was trying to get a propane tank filled. It ended in me leaving to a more expensive gas station to get it filled because no one seemed to know who the person was that could unlock them. Then I had one guy tell me they don't replace them past 5pm and to come back tomorrow. I know that's some bs as I've got it replaced there before last that time. Just seemed like another lazy excuse to not help someone. If price is your only reason you go there, I'd rather deal with Amazon. read more

My 1st Been coming here since day one of its opening the doors, as I live down the street... it was the best Walmart in town per customer service and overall convince. Tonight was suppose to be in and out. 7:55pm However I was encountered a problem as a product was on a lock (no big deal). Ask a worker if he could retrieve someone to help me, his response "I don't know how to help you!" Really? So I asked another person for a manager (at this point I was irritated with the last response and wanted to get my product and leave. Manager was promptly made aware of my situation. 8:00pm We discussed the lack of training and customer relation. He then said he would get some down there... I stood in same spot for 10min... walked down the isle, sat down 20min later. 8:30 temp is rising started asking for every worker for help again. They got on the radio again, heard a response "ok I'll be there in a min" I specifically said what I needed and they said "it's the same key" Ok! 8:40pm see the same manager he looks at me and says "hi" I said "hi" back and "oh it's only been 40 min! I've been to this Walmart many times and never had seen food that was rotten, today my fil and I went grocery shopping and almost all of the sub bread was expired, there were open jars of pasta sauce left on the shelf that had mold growing inside of it, some of the lunch meats were expired and the some of the cheeses, there was chip bags that were opened and goldfish and cheese it snacks that were opened. PREJUDICE. I never shopped Walmart before. My husband introduced me to Walmart. I found out they have VERY affordable stuff. So, I started going to this particular Walmart because it's close by. My only complaint is it seems like the people checking receipts when you leave are very...what's the word...I'll just use the word PREJUDICED. My friends and family never believed me that my receipt is always checked whenever I go to this SPECIFIC Walmart. JUST THIS WALMART. It's crazy because it's ALWAYS the same two people. These two people always check my receipt when I leave the store as if I stole something. I understand that it's their job, but the people around me weren't checked whenever I leave the store. There's only one thing that I noticed...I was a different color skin. I hate saying that. I brought my son to this Walmart. And on our way out, I said, "Watch, they will check my receipt." And I was right. It was sad that my son had to see that with his eyes. So, since then, I started collecting evidence that these two people are ALWAYS checking my receipt. I mean, what are the odds? I go 8 times, my receipt got checked 8 times. All I'm saying is...DON'T BE RACISTS. Just because I'm not white, it doesn't mean I'm a thief. I should stop shopping here, but it's just those two people who I think are prejudiced because the other receipt checkers didn't look at me as a criminal. They treated me as a normal person. I placed my first internet order for pickup at the Littleton Walmart, and got a text it was ready for pickup about 1 hr later. I dropped into the store to pickup. The regular guy who mans the desk was out to lunch and had taken the scanner. The guy filing in determined the old computer at the desk was incapable of finding my order and asked someone to get a scanner. By time she returns with scanner I have been there 20 minutes. She asks to see the text that was sent to me, puts it in scanner, and determines that they have no record of this number. I am out 1 hr of my time for nothing. Please inform your employees to keep up on their personal hygiene. I held my breath the entire time being checked out by an employee named Julian, which wasn't hard considering not even a "hello" was said when I got in line. They kicked the items we had underneath our basket that was heavy and we asked if they could just scan it, could've done it without the attitude. Then as we leave a very rude older woman scans every item on our receipt asking where the items were as if we didn't just spend $150, she very much acted as if we were stealing... toilet paper nonetheless. I go to Walmart because of their pet food prices but will purchase it online from now on out and will use target as my grocery story. So, I've lived and traveled in multiple states, coast to coast. Walmart is my "go to" store for the basics regardless if I'm traveling, or the various places I've lived around the USA. Admittedly this Walmart is fairly close to my current home, so it's convenient. That said, it's important to note, over the past 18 months, I've used the photo lab, pharmacy, electronics, bakery, and garden center multiple times. I also use their grocery pick up service here and love it. I have always had from average to superior customer service within each of those areas, as well as out check out. This is not the largest, or smallest Walmart I've frequented. For its size, they always have a good selection in all the departments we consistently shop for - groceries, home products, toys, clothing, and gardening. It's not the most modern Walmart, yet it's always clean. With kiddos, I often have to take a trip to their restrooms and they're always clean. My only semi-complaint is that I can't always find grocery products in the same places, upon return visits. read more

My review is for the Automotive Service department--specifically, Denise. My car's battery started acting up over the weekend--it simply died to the point that when I turned the key, nothing happened. After having AAA come and jump start my car, the tech told me that it was probably due to short trips and cold weather and to just drive on the highway for about 20 minutes to charge it up. Did that, but then it happened coming out of church the next day. Luckily, a fellow parishioner was available with his vehicle to give me a jump. So, this morning, I shopped online and found a great battery for my vehicle at Walmart. I called the Supercenter nearest me to make sure they had it in stock and could install it for me today. Denise took my call, and efficiently checked and told me yes. I jumpstarted my car with my daughter's vehicle and then drove to Walmart. Denise took my keys and went out to check my mileage. While doing so, she opened the hood up to check my battery. It turns out, that one of the battery cables was loose. So, Denise got a wrench and tightened it. She checked the battery function and it's perfectly fine, so she told me that I don't need a new battery. Best news of the day! When I do need to replace my car's battery, I intend to take it back to this Walmart and ask for Denise. read more
