Dr. Menachof himself is unpretentious, extremely (EXTREMELY) skilled (and comes highly recommended by other surgeons as well as patients and periodicals) and again, VERY generous with his time. I've had an IPL treatment here (born and raised in Hawaii, hi irregular pigmentation) and the woman administering the laser was just SO great. I was nervous, mainly because I'm a gigantic baby where pain is concerned, but she made sure I was numbed sufficiently and all the while took great pains to explain just what I should expect. It was, of course, nowhere near as bad as I'd envisioned it in my mind. And she was such a professional! Botox, dysport, restylane --- they offer all of that here. Prices are competitive. Ginger is also great, as is the well-mannered and thoroughly welcoming front-desk lady (Brenda?). What a high quality operation!

But, my daughter turned me on to Bare Escentuals products a few years ago and I really like it. Although pricier that drugstore products, Bare Minerals is still fairly reasonably priced. On my recent trip to the BE store in Cherry Creek I was helped by a delightful woman who's name I've forgotten (sorry). She rounded up everything that I needed, made a few up-sell suggestions (I understand - they're required to) and I was on my way. My brief re-stocking visit was quick, easy and pleasurable. Just a tip - if you use the Bare Minerals products, go to the Bare Escentuals store in Cherry Creek, NOT Nordstrom. Nordie's has a very limited selection and it's often hard to find an available salesperson.

Well girls, this stuff is awesome and eyeshadow/eyeliner comes in a wonderous array of colors. When wet some of these shades take on a metallic hue which is great for a liner. I had a very disappointing experience at Amaze Lash Studio in Cherry Creek. My appointment was with…read moreTrinity, who was unfortunately quite rude and not personable throughout the process. I explained multiple times that I wanted a full lash look and even showed several photos of how my lashes have looked in the past. The picture below was shown to Trinity at least two times before she started, to make it clear what I was expecting. I trusted her professional judgment to help achieve that look, but the end result was nothing like what I asked for--my lashes were sparse, spacey, and uneven. When I expressed my concerns, Trinity became dismissive and unprofessional. Instead of offering to fix the issue, she told me to book with another tech--for an additional cost. I made it clear that money wasn't the issue; I just wanted to leave with lashes that made me feel confident. Instead, I was left feeling embarrassed and upset--I even cried at the front desk from the experience. To make matters worse, I was charged full price for a service that was completely inadequate. I've attached a photo comparing the work done at Amaze to my previous lash tech, and the difference speaks for itself. I came to Amaze because it's close to home and offers a membership program, but after this experience, I seriously question the professionalism, attentiveness, and skill level of the staff. Sadly, I cannot recommend this studio to others.
