They offer a few treats but mainly it's coffee. I had my usual latte and my wife had the seasonal pumpkin pie latte. The barista did a nice job texturing the milk and to a great temperature. She was able to draw some nice latte art in good ceramic mugs. The flavor was slightly bright but smooth and creamy. The pumpkin flavor was also very good - not too sweet and a very good flavor mix. Overall, both lattes were very enjoyable and I'd recommend this if you are looking for coffee in this area.

I had both the cold brew (black) and the pictured: Fruit Loop Latte - both were good in their own right and can't go wrong. I'd definitely recommend Little Goat Coffee to all would be travelers and locals alike. Locals pointed me here, so I'll continue to spread the good word and point others here too.

Wanting…read moreto try out a local spot, I stopped by the downtown Lansdale location when passing through the area. There is a circular ordering area with a few high top seats and adjacent tables as you enter, with additional seating in the back. Interiors are a bit utilitarian and spartan for my tastes as I prefer a space that is more warm and welcoming. The exterior mural on the side of the building did give the place a bit more character. Many of the drinks only come in one 12 ounce size, so might not be the place if you prefer larger drinks. The mocha latte I ordered was a bit bitter and not excessively sweet, but otherwise strong. Service was a bit on the slow side, but they were experiencing a bit of a morning rush, so I won't hold it against them. While it's not a place I'd venture out of my way to visit again, Backyard Beans Coffee Company seems to be a solid coffee spot for locals and offer an ample menu of food items for those seeking something to eat.

A delightful surprise that goes to show the quality of craftsmanship and knowledge that goes into the drinks here at Covered Bridge. I can't admit I'm any sort of coffee snob, I don't drink it black or hot, but as much as I enjoy my insanely sweet lattes, this reminded me of why I drink coffee in the first place. The flavor is robust and deep even through the creaminess of the milk, and the sweetness is subtler than I'm used to. All around a flavorful and satisfyingly smooth latte that actually tastes LIKE COFFEE!! Service was excellent and fast! The young woman working today was so friendly and helpful and seemed prepared to help with advice or knowledge if needed.
