My cousin took me here and I must say their ice cream is AMAZING. The service was quick and the staff was very friendly. They let you try samples because they have some really cool unique flavors. Parking is metered on the street, so just keep that in mind when you visit. The service is good, and the staff is very knowledgeable about the products which is always a nice touch. The baked goods are consistently good. They offer just about everything: cakes, cookies, pies, tarts; you name it, they have it. Th they make custom cakes. They also specialize in wedding cakes. I went there for a wedding cake tasting, and it was a really fun and an interactive experience. You get to try different cake flavors with various fillings (and some plain options), which really helps when making a decision. they actually have a full ice cream parlor, which makes it such a nice combination: a cake, cookie, and pie shop all in one, plus ice cream. It's the perfect spot when you want a little bit of everything. Overall, I really like this bakery. It's definitely a go to for me when I want to order cakes or pick up something sweet.

While we were waiting for food, I explored the store attached. Very cute flower shop and gift boutique. I'm not sure if they share the same owners? If so they should put a sign above the restaurant side door to advertise the shop. Maybe they can get some shoppers after breakfast/lunch? Back to the food, I had the goat cheese and sun-dried tomato quiche ($16) and it was a little too strongly flavored for me. Normally I love these two ingredients on pizza or in pasta, but this was a lot. For me, needed more egg. It didn't stop me from eating it though! We shared a Brioche French toast ($16) for the table, like an appetizer. It had a peach butter that was interesting. I think next time I want to try a Scrambled egg sandwich ($15) and add sausage patties. ($5) I saw a guy get that and it looked amazing. Now he knows how to order!

My only mild disappoint was the cornbread, as it was a little dry. Admittedly I only picked this restaurant because of the cool greenhouse concept so I had no expectations. They do not take reservations, which is a bummer, but the town is cute to walk around so we didn't mind the 45 minute wait. It is busy for Sunday brunch and it can get a little loud. Overall the vibe is unique, the food is tasty, and the people are nice. I don't know if this is a regular place for me, but I will be thinking of the eggs for a while. Also, like most places in Philly they charge a credit card fee.

I ordered an at-home Wedding Cake tasting box directly from their website and scheduled it for pickup on February 14th at 12:30 PM. It was a pretty straightforward order and I paid using a credit card. Upon entering the shop, it smelled heavenly. The employees behind the counter were helping a customer that was ahead of me, and I was assisted shortly after. She asked for the name on the order and stated she was going to alert Sean to come explain how the tasting works. Sean came out and immediately left a lasting impression. He was very kind and answered my questions. He explained the process for the tasting and left me feeling confident about next steps. We tasted every cupcake and filling yesterday and they were all divine. I can't wait to visit again to try other baked goods from The Frosted Fox!

I asked the guy that waited on me if it was frozen he said No just refrigerated. I brought it home an put it back in the refrigerator as I didn't need it until dinner. Prior to my dinner reservation that night I took it with me to center city and kept it with me until after dinner so it could reach room temperature. When she went to cut the cake I thought it was frozen she was having such a time getting a knife through it. Turns out it was not but very dense and heavy, not like it usually is light and fluffy. It was giving the texture of cornbread. The icing was good but cake not so much, $63 down the drain. I'm not sure if the recipe changed or what happened but something definitely was off. I usually enjoy these cakes but this one not so much!
