This is a great coffee company doing great things. I buy their coffee at whole foods and give it as gifts to clients! Socially responsible!

I had a unique situation for my Philadelphia-area wedding: I'm a freelance floral designer in LA…read moreand had a friend here who I knew was the only person I'd want to do my flowers. But unlike some cities, Philadelphia does not have a central "flower market" and so I began my search for a local wholesaler. Fortunately, it didn't take long for me to come across Younger and Son. We really thought we'd be FedEx'ing flowers across the country to get some of the stuff I wanted but that ended up not being the case at all. I emailed Younger and Son and quickly had a reply from Peter who let me know they were more than happy to work with us. He was great throughout the ordering process - quick to reply both by email and phone and just plain friendly (which we all know is not always the case in our beautiful yet exhausting industry.) I gave them a long list for my order along with some back up items as some of the stuff was out of season. Not only did absolutely everything we ordered come in as some of the BEST quality I've seen of these particular flowers, they were able to supply us specialty items such as fiddle heads (came in a good 2 ft long!), slipper orchids, mixed herbs, succulents and beautiful garden roses. Additionally, I had on my "not-in-a-million-years-wishlist" yellow peonies (they have a pretty magenta center) which were about 4 weeks past season - we got those too and they weren't some shriveled little ball that rots before opening. They were huge, perfect, fragrant showstoppers. After receiving the order we did from Younger and Son, I am confident they are they kind of wholesaler that does not compromise quality. And I'm sure that even if you do not have a resale license as we did, they are willing to work with you. My advise to anyone doing their own flowers or at least their own ordering is to pay attention to seasonality, be flexible and have backups to your wishlist and trust this wholesaler to give you what they know is coming in best that week. As a side note, this is a full-service floral supplier so we ordered a number of hard goods from them as well. An excellent resource in the Philadelphia area!

Very helpful staff, wonderful assortment of fresh flowers and greenery, just a great place to shop…read morefor all your floral needs.

I have been shopping at this location for years and have been content. BJ's is know to carry the…read moresame things for a long time so you can rely on them for consistency. This location is usually calm no matter when you go unless it's the holidays. Even then, it's still calm compared to other places. Staff are extremely helpful and always willing to help you find something or check to see if something is in stock in the back. Eric (I think that's his name) at the deli is extremely nice! I don't think I've ever seen him without a smile when visiting this location. He is very patient with every customer and makes sure you are getting exactly what you want and how you want it. They also have a gas station at this location but I can get pretty crowded sometimes. It's still worth the wait. I just wish the location had better produce. The potatoes and the bagged salad always seem to be on the verge of going bad. I think this might be an overall BJ's issue because I've seen the same thing at other locations. Self checkout can be a bit disorganized sometimes depending on who is working that area. The older gentleman at the door also fainted a great trip recently. I had maybe four items in my cart which were very visible. He counted these items several times and on the last count ended up ripping my receipt. He apologized but I thought this was very unnecessary as there was a cart before mine that had over thirty items that he barely glanced over. For those of us in this community who shop here often, we know he takes his job SERIOUSLY so when I saw him briefly scan over the very full cart ahead of me I thought "Wow, new year new him." I was wrong. I collected my newly ripped receipt and left. Besides the receipt incident, I do like this location. The store is organized and usually has my go to staples.

I'm normally more of a Costco guy than a BJs guy, but I've especially enjoyed my experiences at…read morethis BJs location. It's not among the biggest warehouse stores, and there's nothing flashy about it, but every time I've gone I've been able to get in, find a wide range of products I wanted at a good price, and get out without anything raising my blood pressure. The store always has more than a few people in it, but you don't feel overcrowded as you shop. The ratio of people in the aisles to width of the aisles works out so that you can comfortably move around. The staff are helpful and also pretty relaxed, where you're not going to get barked at when you enter or check out. I wish they had a proper food court/counter. It's not the store to get a bite to eat at the end of the shopping trip. But, if you just want to buy normal products cheaper in bulk, it offers an unusually pleasant warehouse store experience.

Out shopping and looking for bargains with my daughter and had recently…read more heard about the Half off Store. This store is located at 1200 Welsh Road in North Wales, Pa. The store is a good place to find gifts for the holidays. I saw lots of Halloween decor and toys and bikes for children. They carry a lot of random things like bed linen, kitchen appliances, tvs, home decor, toys etc. You really need to take your time and shop for the bargains because it depends on how long something has been on the shelf to get good markdowns. The tags on each item will reflect when it was put on the shelf. My daughter got a floor lamp and an airfryer. The Cuisinart airfryer was only $99. I paid $199.00 about 2 years ago for the same airfryer. These items are leftovers, overstock, and discounted items. There are no returns or refunds, so make sure you want whatever you purchase. One nice thing, if you're buying any electronics, they will take it out of the box and test it for you, making sure you're satisfied before you buy it. They get a lot of their items from Target and Best Buys and big box stores like that. I think it was worth the trip and plan on going again soon!

Wouldn't consider this place a "half off store" most items are just slightly discounted…read more Stopped by today and a stocking staff member was completely rude, she had zero manners when I asked her about clothes. Sadly their clothing selection is very very small. It's extremely sad that no one has manners now a days.

I decided to join Costco because I've heard a few positive things about them. I feel this is important in the climate we live in. I've been a Sam's Club girl for years (and still am) but my husband said he would pay for the membership. The membership is $65 for Goldstar, $130 for Executive....2% back on purchases. Check the website for details. This Costco is located at 740 Upper State Road in North Wales, Pa. We went on a Saturday afternoon it was sooooo busy. A line coming in the store and a line going out. I was comparing them to Sam's to see if it was better or worse. Unfortunately, it's a wash for me. They both have their strong points. Costco has a great meat selection, things I haven't seen at Sam's. Their bakery has lots of thing l would like to try. The prices are are about the same. But Costco is a little bigger, a little more to choose from. Only thing I didn't like was the crowd, just too many people. I felt rushed the whole time I was there. I even asked the cashier is it busy because it's Saturday and she said "No! It's busy everyday". I must say, the lines moved pretty fast. Because of the crowd I didn't look around as much as I would have liked too, but i did like the store. I'll definitely go back when I'm rested and have my sneakers on! We stopped to get a snack at the food court. You can go up and pay at the counter or use the kiosk which is faster to get your food. We just got a hot dog and soda for $1.50 (great buy). I'll take more pictures next time I go. Costco is open: Mon - Thurs 10-8:30pm Sat - 9:30 - 6pm Sun - 10 - 6 pm
