Pleasantly surprised by this place. Definitely a little pricy but the food was fantastic. Smaller burritos but these things are rolled and grilled to perfection. I recommend adding the jalepenos and cilantro sauce. The service was efficient and friendly.

I tried Wake and Late in Pasadena a year or two ago and remember thinking the burritos were pretty expensive for how small they were. Fast forward to now, we tried the Hollywood location on a Sunday around noon and left impressed. First off, the orange juice was super fresh. The small/personal breakfast burrito is $12, which feels very reasonable compared to other spots. They also serve breakfast burritos after breakfast hours we went around 12 PM with no problem. Service was fast, and you can see the staff working quickly inside. They were definitely busy too, especially with the Hollywood Farmers Market going on. I ordered a burrito with no add-ons and chose the cilantro crema hands down the best sauce in my opinion. Perfect amount of potatoes, bacon, and eggs. No complaints at all. They also have coffee and matcha. One more thing for those who care about details: the burritos are made with house-made flour tortillas, made fresh daily using organic, regenerative flour with no preservatives, fillers, conditioners, or seed oils (per the menu). Overall, I'd definitely recommend this location if you're in the area.

Easily accessible during the Hollywood Farmers' Market. Drop by, order, so some shopping and then come back for your food. Can't be any easier. The breakfast burrito is solid. But can get pretty pricey considering my neighborhood spot can do it under $10, but these folks use carefully sourced product and have to pay city rent so there's that. The bagels here are solid. They are served piping hot and with a side of your choice of cream cheese. The cheese bagel with the scallion cream cheese is my current favorite combination. You rip the bagel apart and dip it in the side of cheese. I eat it right on site. They've also got a frozen espresso drink that's also pretty fun. It is rather sweet and can pack a wallop, but it's not like you're having it daily.

This was the best breakfast burrito I've ever had. It's also my first one but I'm pretty confident I don't need to try any others! I ordered the steak burrito and it came with crispy tater tots, egg, crispy cheese with slices of avocado. I don't like egg so I was scared at first but this was burrito was amazing. It was well put together and all the flavors just work. I recommend getting all the sauces too and put a little bit before every bite. Heaven. Also I don't know why people keep complaining it's so small, it felt normal sized to me. Smaller than Chipotle burritos but obviously those have more food inside. I think for a breakfast burrito almost $20 is steep so I get that but you're paying for quality! Check this place out!

This location is a lot more chill than the DTLA one and it has lots of nice seating inside. I always get the steak burrito with both sauces. The burrito is quite small but it is so good, you cannot be too mad, especially when the place has parking! I recommend ordering online.

We really loved this place. The burritos were terrific both breakfast and the lunch style. We had some fresh orange juice and great lattes as well. Service was really fast and they had they had some outdoor seating for us to enjoy them at. We will be back anytime we are in the area.

World's best breakfast burrito!!! Perfectly proportioned, and this is my first time coming in PERSON! I've typically only ordered on Postmates. First things first, the brick and mortar is adorable. There's this bright orange sign that you can't miss, outdoor seating, anda The service was great! It did take a second for them to make my order, but they're made to order, so the wait didn't bother me! The fresher the better! For some reason I feel like the burritos were a bit bigger when I ordered them online. This could be due to the packaging materials they use for in-person orders. But the taste is always impeccable. Perfect amount of potatoes, bacon, eggs, and the dipping sauce is delectable. I will not turn on this burrito! Lol. I strongly recommend it if you're in the area! A little on the pricy side, but having a brick and mortar in LA pretty much requires it.

The food was delicious, I got the breakfast burrito. My burrito felt like it was on ozempic tho. For the size of my burrito and for the price I don't think they aligned. Everything is organic so I will give it that. The service was good the lady was very friendly and only thing is that there was only seating outside. The inside where you order has a nice calm vibe. For some reason you couldn't pick and choose things from other items onto yours if it isn't an option, not a big deal tho.

I was slightly disappointed after seeing this place online and building up high expectations. The burrito was a lot smaller than expected, maybe 5 inches long. The scrambled eggs were silky and fluffy, which probably explains the longer wait. The cilantro crema was well balanced but the burrito was overall a tad salty.

    Very very small burrito

An establishment with a great name but terrible prices for food. The amount you get and charges you occur to add a protein is absurd. Definitely get a breakfast burrito and your drink elsewhere. Came to this place for a very quick order as I was in a rush. Ordered a $14 burrito with no meat because meat is $5 extra. The size of the burrito is a joke, the taste is definitely not even worth $14. The amount they charge for a shot of orange juice is mind blowing. I definitely do not recommend this place for food.

Great staff!! So kind and supportive and gave excellent recommendations. They are in a 2 story strip mall with their own parking lot. They have a center location on the first floor. Limited parking. The shop has an open kitchen. Nice ambiance that is both airy and comfortable. Only open for breakfast and lunch. Orange juice is freshly squeezed. Beautiful color and flavor. The iced frappe was so yummy. Iced chai is ok. Would get the OJ or frozen frappe was so much better. Coffee is good Tortillas are so good and made there. Steak burrito was delicious. Definitely had a great texture and flavor with the tots inside and the 1 different sauces that accompanied there

Perfect sized burritos again, yummy iced latte, and an okay matcha. We visited this time on Monday Morning, service was quick, our burrito came out before the drinks. I'll always be back

Wake and Late still holds up. I tried the Hollywood location after having the downtown one before, and it's still one of the best breakfast burritos in LA. Some people call it overrated, but the simplicity is exactly why it works. The inside gets nice and crispy, and everything stays balanced. I went with the steak this time, but bacon is still the better move here. The crema sauce is a must and pulls the whole burrito together. The staff is friendly and the spot has a cool, relaxed feel. That said, it is small for the price. Expect to pay around $20 for the burrito, and it will not fully fill you up. Think of it as a nice, light breakfast rather than a heavy meal.

Parking here may be difficult to find on the street, but they do have valet, too. On a Saturday afternoon, this spot is packed and quite hard to find a place to sit. Wi-Fi is available, though note that plugs and seating may be another issue. Not every spot comes with a plug, and it's going to be full, so you may need to wait 15-20 minutes. It is indeed a small spot, so if you're looking for a quiet spot to work, this might not be it. The interior decor, though, is quite clean aesthetically and is relaxing to work in. The Matcha Latte, though, let me say if you're in need of an afternoon pick-me-up, this will keep you energized, even without the sugar! A few sips in and a half cup later, I had so much energy I could probably run a marathon if I had the right shoes (and I don't even like running).

The line is not for the faint of heart. I tried their matcha einspanner, breakfast sliders, and pistachio toast and all three were AMAZING. - Matcha Einspanner: One of the best matchas I've ever had! The matcha is so well balanced - you can actually taste the matcha, not too sweet, and creamy too. They also sprinkle sea salt on top which helps enhance the matcha flavor. My only complaint is that I wish the cup was bigger. - Breakfast Sliders: I wasn't expecting much from the sliders, but everyone always hypes up their slides, so I knew I had to give it a try. I was not disappointed! The egg is so fluffy and the sauces that come with it are so delicious, especially their hot sauced. I added bacon and avocado too and it was great. - Pistachio Toast: I feel like their pistachio toast is not talked about enough. It was so yummy and satisfying that I wish I could get another one. The toast is hearty and the pistachio spread with sea salt, olive oil, and olive oil is the perfect balance of sweet and savory. I'm still thinking about their toast. Although it is quite pricey, I think the taste and quality justify the price. The interior is small and there's about 6 tables outside which is pretty crowded so you might have to take it elsewhere to enjoy.
