Please educate your clients about the care and lifetime commitment when they by ducklings. People are dumping the ducks at local parks to fend for themselves when they grow out of the cute stage . Domestic ducks can not fly or find enough to eat so they get weak and fall prey to sickness and coyotes. read more

This pet store should be under review. They sell sick animals (for example: guinea pigs) that die after a few weeks. They are obviously carrying disease. But don't worry, you will get a 50% discount on the next, and the next. They are just in it for profit, not animal care or welfare. If I had the time I would stand outside and protest the way they treat animals. Any good-standing veterinarian or animal lover would not not support this store if they did their research and saw the turn-over of inbred and diseased animals. It is really sad. I wish there was a way to expose this nasty business for what it really is. read more

I take my dog here all the time for grooming. Before Wagon Train, my dog was terrified of blow dryers. However, now she is completely comfortable and loved her groomer! The employees are nice and extremely good with the animals. The prices are also great. I'll definitely be bringing my dog back here soon. read more

do not bring your dog for grooming here, worst experience ever. I brought my dog for grooming before Christmas and want her to look extra cute before the Christmas party. Before I brought her in I called this place to ask the price for shampoo, haircut, ear cleaning and nail cut, they told me for my dog it will be around 50 for all that as a package. I made appointment then brought me dog in the next day. I arrived at 10 mins earlier than my appointment, then they told me it will take 2 to 2 and half hour since its holiday season. I was ok with it, the girl ask me what kind of cut I want for my dog, I told her teddy bear style. she said it is ok, I told her my dogs fur has tangled, so she said she ll try to keep as long as possible. Then the other lady said it will be 49 dollars including all those service. I went back home to wait for their call. after 1 and half hour, they called me said my dog is too tangled they need to cut her fur really short, and to match the body the head will be short too. I said yes. Then I went to pick her up, it turns out they shaved her entire fur and her butt is almost no fur at all. I paid anyway then went back home since I need to go to work. But when I check my dog at home, I found they did not cut her nail, they did not clean her ears. So I called back to double check, they told me coz my dog has long nail they can not cut it, or else she will bleed, I said you can make her nails less sharp at least, she told me it will be additional 10 dollars, then I said if you said 49 dollars include nail cut, and my dog does not need one why you charge me 49 dollars, also when I ask her whether they clean my dogs ears, she said yes, but I checked it and clean it, turns out they did not clean my dogs ears at all. read more

This groomer is as good as they get! I have a shih tzu with LOTS of hair! Not easy to groom! But he always looks like a million bucks when he comes out of the Wagon Train. We used another groomer for over 15 years, and they couldn't compare to this place. And they LOVE the dogs - are very sweet and caring. My dog actually seems to LOOK FORWARD to going to the groomer. And FAST! He rarely has to stay cooped up for over a couple of hours - as opposed to all day. 5 stars all they way! read more

This is probably the cutest, best stocked feed supply store. From feed for your pets whether it be a doggie or a horse to gifts for those you love, they have it. They also have dog grooming and boarding available. The place is tiny but has alot to offer. Parking is a little tough at times but worth it. read more

Very helpful staff. The young gentleman was incredibly helpful and answered so many questions about how to raise chickens, ducks, pigs, and other farm animals. They have for sale a variety of pet food and farm animal feed. Lots of cute chickens and ducks when we were there, as well as puppies. There were also educational books and gifts and decorations. I decided to try wagon train at the recommendation of a friend. I have a long hair Pekingese and a Papillon Chiuaua that in the past have been a handfull for other groomers. I have had to deal with issues such as nicks and burns on my dogs in the past and have been searching for the right groomer ever since, For the first time in a long time, I was completly satisfied and care free when it came to looking over my dogs. They smelled great, looked great, and were both done in an hour, which was an hour earlier than I had been told. Everybody there was extremely helpful and friendly, and the prices were more than fair for the work that was completed. I am very happy with Wagon Train's service, and have made this shop my permanent stop. If you care about your dogs like they are your children, then Wagon Train is the ONLY place I would trust. read more

I needed to add a chick to my small flock of hens. My local store didn't have a good selection, so I drove down to Orange to see what Wagon Train had in stock. They didn't have a huge number of birds, but they had some of the breeds I was after. I was pleased that I was able to get a month old, rather than a hatchling. The best part of the Wagon Train experience was the customer service. She was helpful and genuinely interested in helping me find a good chick. If you're the boss and you're reading this, it was the young lady who just bought a thoroughbred for jumping. Give her a raise! Next time I need a chick, I'll call Wagon Train and perhaps make the extra drive. read more

We have an 8 year old female German Shepard who does not like to be touched much and had not been professionally groomed. Kiltie (sp) did an wonderful job! I bought my dog from Wagon Train last year and she is the best dog ever. She loves going up to the store and all the employees are super friendly to her and don't mind her walking around the store and exploring all the animals they have in there. They have a huge variety of dog treats and food and are comparable to other stores i have been too. I also love that they sell chickens and all the supplies to go along with it and everyone has good knowledge of how to raise them and what they are, it made me want to get chickens myself. I have also had my dog groomed here and she always turns out so clean and smelling amazing, plus have to love the giant bow that goes along with whatever season or holiday it is close to. Awful customer service! Just awful!! There were three employee working with only one other client in store. I waited for my turn patiently with NO acknowledgement from any employee. One customer should only take one employee's time. One employee kept bringing in items from outside making me feel as if I was in the way of where he needing to put them...mind you it's only 3:15pm, they close at 5:00. Other customers starting to come in after abut 5 mins of waiting. Guess what? They got helped BEFORE me. I needed to get a shot for a kitten I purchased from them. I told one employee I needed to get the shot and she told ME to hold on while she finished people that came in after me. Is dropping off dogs for overnight stays or people returning incubators take priority?? Or for that matter bringing in items from outside almost 2 hrs early when there is no walking room as it is? Seriously! I left after 15 mins of waiting, needless to say they lost a really good customer!! read more

This is a cute shop that sells an assortment of pet-related things and animals from goats and chickens to turtles and rabbits. The people who work here are pretty nice, but the stuff is on the pricey side. I bought two chicks here, supposedly "white silkies," but one ended up being a brown-gray-white one and the other was a mixed breed! I understand people make mistakes sometimes, but it's very disappointing, since it wasn't even a purebreed and was expensive. I could find mixed breed chicks for $1 elsewhere instead of paying $6 here. The chick food is also three times more expensive than other places. I probably won't be coming back again for my chicken needs. read more

i took my dog to get groomed and it was a nightmare. i think my groomers name was ally- definitely wouldn't recommend. my poor fur baby eyes are so irritated and there was blood coming from some of her toes. i have been a loyal customer for some time now but will not be returning. however, if this employee is removed then i might reconsider. read more

Spent over $110 with feed and a lamp and the incubator with turner to hatch 1doz. ducks. I was not given the correct info on regulating the temperature when using an egg turner. Purchased a dozen duck eggs and none hatched. Did my research (after candling the eggs) and found out if you have an egg turner the thermometer needs to be ON the egg turner, not on the screen where they said. The eggs are closer to the heat coils when on the turner, so you need to adjust your temperature based on the temp at that height. Next, I called and talked to a younger girl on the phone and she told me that you can't over heat the eggs unless you get over 110 degrees...WHAT? A human can get overheated for any length off time at 110degrees!! The paper they gave me said not a stitch above 99.5. All my online research confirmed 99.5 is tops or you kill the embryos. Even 100 degrees for any length of time kills them! Furthermore, I was told when I rented from Wagon Train that they didn't guarantee the eggs but if they didn't hatch I could try again using the incubator but would need to repurchase eggs. Perfectly fine I said...agreed. Not so...when I phoned the girl said I would have to rent everything again...another fortune, sigh. What a racket!! Another mom in the parking lot said she had no hatches and her incubator was not working correctly either so she was going in to get another one and more eggs...wonder how that turned out, ha! My kids are so bummed. I am not spending another dime there. Too bad, because I really liked the older gals who run the place. The ignorant younger girl ruined it for us though. Do your research before hatching. And FYI, you can purchase your own incubator for $80. read more

Decided to get a chick and the sale man with glasses did not want to sell me one without up selling me other items I did not need. During the conversation he told "no offense but " he wasn't going to sell me a certain chick since I was only purchasing one. He had no customer service skills and I will never be going there again.
