We had our client's dog Wolfe (a Great Pyrenees mix) groomed by My Pookie's Spaw, and we couldn't be happier with the experience. Wolfe is a very sweet dog but had an enormous amount of fur -- way more than most people could imagine. Jeremiah came directly to our home to handle the grooming, and he did a fantastic job from start to finish. He took his time, was incredibly patient, and the before-and-after difference was truly amazing (photos attached). Without this grooming, it would have been extremely difficult for Wolfe to stay comfortable during the training work we're doing. My dog is a highly anxious dog and does not do well in pet smart with other dogs around and a lot of stimuli around him. This is my first time using a mobile dog service and this one is very much efficient. Jeremiah was calm and did so well with cleaning our pet, and had the best trimming and de shedding so far than in a couple years going to a petsmart. I decided to try out a mobile groomer for the 1st time due to time constraints and it seemed that the quality of the work was declining at my regular groomer. This company is the worse at communicating. I've gotten my dogs in 2 times and as I sit here and try to get an appointment (since 2/14/22) and I can't get a hold of anyone. We brought the dog to the Spa trailer and she came outside and sat on the sidewalk to connect with our dog. Since I moved to CA 4 years ago, I have been using a different Mobil groomer and they had become increasingly bad. I get my dog shaved and he is a Shih tzu so not a difficult job. Today I tried My Pookie's Spaw and will never use anyone else. They were fast, 2 hours vs the 4 I had been used to and the price was about $25 less. Camille is the best. My three fur-babies have been pampered by her since January, and they love it; as do I. It is so convenient having a recurring appointment that I don't have to think about, and having Camille roll up to my front door. The dogs love Camille.. they run out the door to greet her when she arrives. She takes Bentlee & Rylee out together and bathes them first, and then takes Carlee for her bath and haircut. Carlee sits at the door whining the whole time, until she gets to go out and see Camille. As you can see in the after pictures, they are happy, clean dogs. And you should smell how great they smell. I contacted My Pookies Spaw early this morning, mostly to get my dogs nails clipped, but figured a bath would be nice for them as well. They got back to me quickly and scheduled me an appointment for 6pm tonight, and kept me updated through the day on their schedule and if they were running behind. I have two medium/large dogs (50-70lbs) and they got them both in and out in an hour! They were very professional, wore masks, and we had limited physical contact (important given the current COVID-19 situation). Their workspace was clean, and my doggies smelled and felt wonderful! Not to mention, no more sharp nails! Their pricing was reasonable too! Only slightly more than my usual groomer, but I gladly paid for the added convenience! So, my dog "Hope" absolutely can not stand being groomed. I have tried vets, private groomers and even corporate pet stores. I saw their truck parked on our street and asked for a card from Kennedy. All I can say is, she is awesome with my dog. Hope is a 13 year old whippet and lab mix, and Kennedy did an awesome job with her. I asked her to cut the hair on her paws, because she has been sliding on my wood floors, and she didn't hesitate to assure me that Hope would be taken care of. I was nervous, because of my past experiences, and Hope's anxiety as a result, but when Kennedy brought Hope back to my door, not only was she soft and clean, she was like a happy pup again. She can easily accommodate our 61 lb mutt in her tub. We've used her services multiple times now and have been super happy with the results! It takes about an hour total for our dog. My dog is always happy to see Camille, which wasn't always the case for some store-based grooming salons.
