I have gone to Teri's claws and paws for several years. Brian is the owner and he is impeccable at bathing Grooming and challenging dogs. I have a miniature Australian Shepherd who has multiple coats and some of you have dogs that need special cutting. Brian is the one to do this. Again he's incredible. He's trustworthy and I have no problem with him taking care of my dogs in his salon. Due to my one dog skin condition he sees Brian every two weeks. I can't say enough about this busines and his staff. They're all incredible. We recently moved out to Palm Desert and when it time comes time for my dogs to be cut, I'll make arrangements to drive to Orange to Brian. read more

I wouldn't use anyone else! Treats our dog as if it were his own. Our dog jumps out of the car and heads for the door with no hesitation. Been using Terry's Claws and Paws for years. read more

Brian is the GOAT of dog groomers! We've been taking our dogs to him for over 20 years and he always does a great job. Plus, he always gives them a bandana so they look all duded up. All other groomers pale in comparison! read more

Have been bringing my three dogs to Brian for over 20 years when he was in his previous location on Tustin Ave. This is the only place I will bring my Husky. She always looks happy and well groomed when I pick her up! read more

Brian is great and my dogs always love going there. I can't wait to try his new place out.

We have been using Terry's Claws & Paws for years. Brian is very good with our dog, in fact Floyd runs up to his door. Brian does a great job grooming our 30 pound pet. We get a summer cut all year. It makes him look really good. Sometimes we take him for just a bath. Fair priced and you will know your pet is in good hands. The new shop is very convenient. Congratulations Brian in finding a new shop. Hope all your customers have returned. read more

We recently moved form out of state and with the busy schedule of settling in and unpacking we had missed the monthly trim we do on our Aussie. Hearing his nails tapping across the hardwoods, we searched for a groomer and found Terry's. The groomers are outstanding! Teddy's nails are ship shape and we are happy to have found our new go-to place for his paw claw healthy happy grooming. read more

I do hardly recommend this place. They are very cheap for clipping. Your cat's nails, but I am so very, very sorry to say they burn down breaks. My heart Bixby the guy Brian was amazing. read more

I'm always happy when I pick up my pups and they are, too ! Brian is such a good person and knows exactly how to make us happy. We've been 16 years with him and15 years fostering for a rescue group so a lot of little bedraggled dogs have found themselves lovely for their future forever homes. read more

Excellent groomer! Fabulous with my 14 year old dog Bodhi. Brian was super friendly and Bodhi even allowed him to pet him right away. Bodhi was a rescue and will generally take time to trust people. Brian groomed him precisely as requested (my last groomer would shave him down so much it was embarrassing and a little hilarious to look at). So glad I found this groomer. read more

I took my two terrier mixes for the first time. They did a great job! My dogs can be fussy and anti social but they took great care of them and even walked them to the dog park next to them. Both pups look absolutely great, followed precise instructions on haircut, very good grooming and they also put little bandanas on them. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a great groomer. read more

We brought both of our pits here for a grooming plus anal gland stuff . The staff was amazing with our dogs. Our one pit was nervous to be there, so instead of forcing him into the bath they called my husband to come and put him in. It help put our dog at ease! We definitely will be back! Thank you!! read more

My family has been taking their pets to Terry's for as long as I can remember! When I finally moved out and got my own dog I thought I'd just take my beagle to Petsmart to get a bath (since there's not grooming/haircut involved). Bad idea! Every time I took her there she would smell dirty again within days and that is unacceptable for an indoor dog! My parents were watching her one weekend for me while I was on vacation and took her to Brian (current groomer at Terry's) and when I got home she smelled amazing! Her ears were all clean and her nails were trimmed and filed. Best part of it all - it's only $5 more than Petsmart and that's with my tip! Nice people, amazing job on the bath/nails/ears, she smells amazing and my pocket book is happy. Give them a try! You won't regret it! PS - for those of you needing your dogs cut as well my mom has a mini schnauzer and Brian always trims her to my mom's preference and they continue to bring her back as well because they are so pleased with his work. read more

I have a Wheaton terrier that is a bit crazy. And I went to petco first and the lady that cut her was exhausted and sweating and my dog looked horrible... So my first time @ terry's I was nervous. But he was confident and friendly. And when I got back a few hours later my dog was done and looked and smelled great! It was 50.00 for her and shes about 25 pounds. My mom started taking her little Havanese there too. And they charge 40.00 for her wash and cut. I just like the no frills, confident atmosphere. Very officiant. read more

We have been bringing our "baby" here for around 2 years now. Staff here is very friendly and they sincerely care about our precious baby. Also very reasonable and conveniently located. read more

I inherited My mom's dog after she passed away in May. I was never all that excited about her taking him to Petsmart and then recently someone in my family had a bad experience there with their dog so I decided to find somewhere else. I called the first page of places listed on Yelp and not only was Terry's the closest, they were also the least expensive. I have a 30ish pound beagle pit and he was $25 for wash, nails, ears and anal express. Not too shabby. The place is a little hidden. It's in a trailer in the parking lot behind a Vet on Tustin Ave. between the 22 and Palmyra. The staff was very friendly, helpful and he was ready before the time promised. I will definitely be bringing my dog here again! read more

Definitely the place to go for all your grooming needs. I'm fairly new to the area and tried taking my boxer to Petsmart on 17th street, we'll let me tell you...they are rude, unprofessional, and overpriced. Thank go I found Paws&Claws! They are everything Petsmart is not. So going forward: all your food and supply needs-Petsmart, all your grooming- Paws&Claws....both you and your pup will be happy campers:) read more

I took my dog there twice, I in the neighborhood with my dog and stopped to make an appointment, my ALWAYS HAPPY dog turned into a shaking frightened mess when I carried him in with me, I was surprised by his reaction, I made the appointment for the third visit, but when I opened the screen door to leave my usually friendly happy dog darted out running as fast as he could to the car, by the time I reached the car to let him in he was panting & shaking, he couldn't get away from there fast enough. SOMETHING VERY BAD MUST HAVE HAPPENED TO HIM THERE, I NEVER KEPT THAT APPOINTMENT. I take him to a different place, he's happy when we pull into the driveway and he's the first to the groomers door, she does an amazing job & it lasts longer than when Terry did it. I SAY RUN WITH YOUR FDOG AWAY FROM HERE, YOUR PAYING TO HAVE YOUR DOG MISTREATED read more

Fantastic. We took our dog here once on a recommendation, 8+ years ago, and never went anywhere else. Brian is great with the dogs. They love him! He is also very detailed and does great work. Thank you, Brian and team! read more

Brian is an amazing groomer and it's probably the best deal in OC for a full grooming. He did two of our dogs before they were in our wedding and they were adorable! read more

I've been taking my toy poodle here for almost 2 years now regularly. I love the service, and I love the cut she gets each time. They do get booked up, but I always call a week ahead of time and never have a problem getting in. She never has a problem getting dropped off and always seems happy when she leaves. I wouldn't think of taking her anywhere else! read more

Absolutely love Brian! He is our family groomer for years! Does an amazing job & the pets love him!!!

We have been taking our golden retriever here for years. He must love it because he always pull the leash really hard to get in

Don't take your dogs there. I recently read the reviews from others and thought I would try it. One of my dogs had his anal area injured. No wonder he pooped everywhere. I'd taken him to be groomed before with no incidents. Obviously he was in pain and scared. Now I will need to incur a vet bill because of his injury. I also told them to just cut the mats out, not comb them. They disregarded this info. My other dog, the trim of her face was not good. Again the got a little to close in areas. Both of my babies seemed traumatized when I got them home. Yes, the price was good, but in the long run due to vet bill will cost me more. read more

The last time I took my dog there, they clipped his personnel parts so bad that it took almost 3 weeks to heal.. I do not recommend them. Horrible! read more

Excellent. My favorite local groomer. Very friendly. Fair prices. Nice little park out at the back. Book ahead!

I have taken all my dogs here for over 30 years. I knew the original owner, Terry, very well. She became like family. And, Brian, who now owns it is equally as great. The dogs I have had were really hard to groom. We originally had two (2) old English Sheepdogs, then a labradoodle and now another Labradoodle. All long hair dogs. We now take our Bruno to Brian every other week. We have NEVER had a problem and Brian is now like family. I highly recommend Brian for dog grooming! read more

Brian is a great groomer! he does a great standard poodle cut. he loves all types of dogs and treats them like their his own. best prized grooming shop in town you wont be disappointed. read more

I can say nothing but good things about Terry's Claws & Paws. The staff is so friendly and helpful and you can tell they thoroughly love working with animals. The grooming price was very reasonable and my dog received the best haircut she has ever had. I wouldn't hesitatate to recommend this groomer. They did a "top notch" job and I'm grateful. I only had to wait a couple of days to get my dog in and it was well worth the wait. read more

I have been bringing my dogs for here for grooming since the early '90s and have always been happy each time. My dogs have always been cut exactly the way I requested, I'm not over charged ever and usually I wait too long and my dogs would even be a bit matted too. Brian and his assistant are always very professional and friendly. Easy to get to and plenty of parking also. read more
