Weck and Wings. Asked for all flats.
    Tammy R.

They have a good beef on weck. Wings are spot on. Fish Fry was good but lacking on the sides. No loganberry! It's a buffalo staple and I feel it should be in every restaurant. Service was a little off. People got served before us, even though they arrived after us. They dropped the coleslaw off and 10 mins later the hubby got his fish. Not a huge deal. I will be coming back. I would definitely recommend the Wings! Just the way I like them.

Stopped in on a recommendation from someone and was not disappointed. I started with the Baked French Onion Soup which was very good. The soup had great flavor. For my main I had the Johnnies Special which include Beef on Weck and wings. I ordered the wings medium and they came out crispy with great flavor. The Beef on Weck was also very good. I would definitely stop in again if I'm in the area.

Top is what I ordered, bottom is what I got. Sad.

So very disappointed. After looking at the menu online I decided on the Roast beef and fries. When I ordered I requested rare beef like in the images on the website. The redder the better. Fries were stone cold and wrinkled. So, NOT what I was craving. So, this is a what I ordered and what I got picture.

Truly an amazing dining experience. Our service (although I can't recall her name) was the best part, which is saying something because the food is amazing. Our waitress was very attentive, fun, and had a lot of good conversation (she said she's been there for 37 years). The wings at Wagner's are very underrated compared to any place in buffalo and have now become a favorite of mine. French onion soup and beef on weck were absolutely amazing. I also had the peanut butter pie, which, if you choose to get that, get 2 pieces. 10/5 for Wagner's. The best restaurant in Lockport in my opinion.

Lean, amazing flavorful roast beef, piled high!

Think about your favorite place to get a roast beef sandwich...and if you're from WNY and like roast beast, you know you have one or two places. Think about it long and hard....then FUHGEDDABOUDIT! Wagner's is hands down the best. To give you some insight on how good Wagner's is, I've taken coworkers from Washington, Nebraska, California, Iceland and Switzerland to Wagner's (often after getting wings at the "originator" places), to let them experience both Roast Beef on Weck and (more) chicken wings (both together are called "Johnnie's Special") and every.single.time they have said "this place is the best place you've taken us!" Mind you, it's not the prettiest place...it looks like an older house on a beat up industrial street but it's worth it. It is the perfect rust belt experience and the best food. I highly recommend the Johnnies Special or the Park Ave...the Roast Beef Deluxe (I just tried this today and have included a photo), or the open faced RB sandwich (which is exactly how my family used to make them). I love Wagner's and have yet to find someone who doesn't like it here. Make the trek to Lockport and find this hidden gem!

    Fish fry

Been going to Wagners since I was a kid. Great food always. This time, we went on a Friday Afternoon. Was busy, and they only had one server on! Ordered 2 fish fry's and 10 wings. 25 minutes went by, and the people that came in after us were getting their fish fry's before us. She said " the wings take a while!" . 40 minutes later we got our food. As good as the food was, sorry, but WNY's full of wing places that make wings under 30 minutes. I won't hold this against them, will always be back. But maybe you need a new fryer?

A great family type bar and restaurant. A neighborhood and Lockport staple for decades! Beef on week and wings are great!

The bakery was LOADED with goodies and my cousin was absolutely hysterical to watch. She kept saying, "It's been 15 years since I've had this or that..." and the pure joy on her face was worth every minute spent traveling there and every ounce of gasoline. We split a piece of spinach feta quiche and an order of mozzarella sticks. She ordered the brunch special: Challah french toast and I had a breakfast sammie with cheddar cheese and veggies (onions, mushrooms and peppers). The entire bill (including a cinnamon roll, cream puff, and crueller donut) was less than $60 which was another fantastic surprise. Normally GF foods are priced higher than non-GF places. We had a wonderful time. It was busy/hoppin' the entire time we were there, but we definitely have a plan to go back after the new year.

What could have been a disaster turned into a great customer service experience. I went to pick it up at the agreed upon time and they hadn't made it. One of the owners came out and told me they would be making it right away, delivering it, and wouldn't be charging me a dime because of their error. Mistakes happen and how you handle them really shows a lot. Thank you Kith and Kin!

The food is the definition of "bang for your buck." I tried the chicken burger, which came stuffed with shredded steak and peppers. It was honestly larger than expected, and relatively inexpensive considering the portion size. The Highlights: * Unique Atmosphere: You can really feel the history of the old City Hall building. * The Food: Generous portions that don't break the bank. * Drink Selection: They have a surprisingly good beer list for a casual spot. Service: Wait staff were good and attentive. It's nothing "fancy" by any means, but it's a quality spot right in the heart of town. My only gripes were that the bar area felt a bit small for the space, and it was surprisingly quiet for a Sunday afternoon. This place deserves more attention, and could see the same setting packed if it were in East Aurora or Elmwood

I had the build you own Mac and cheese that was good but it's so big for one person and had an overwhelming amount of cheese. The onion rings are so very good though. The service was average they were a little slow but pleasant. I would recommend.
