A brief conversation turned into him loudly talking over me and not allowing me to speak. I told him when the siding had been done and when the windows were done, he immediately started telling me the reason it was leaking was due to the contractor who did the siding- they were the cause of that even though the siding was done six years ago and it's only leaked twice starting about four weeks ago. Then he said it was because of the immigrants- they were doing all of the wrong work. I told him that this particular job was not done by immigrants. our regular Handyman and his son did all of it. He also was telling me I wasn't qualified to tell whether someone was properly licensed in NY or not because I just had someone else give an estimate who showed me their license who had wanted to take the window out and then put it back in with new protection etc. At some point I said are you going to tell me what you think about the window and he said I already did it's $800-$1200 without really explaining what they were going to do. I don't recall him saying that in this crazy conversation before perhaps he did and I couldn't remember because it was mostly him berating me. Anyway, I said that's too expensive and goodbye. I do not recommend this company based on this. It's too bad because they do seem to have a lot of good reviews and I was considering to ask them about the other leak with the roof as well that hasn't happened again for a year. After three strike outs with three different people now I am ready to just go to Home Depot and ask them to tell me how to fix this myself.

Window Depot USA stood out compared to the rest. Always answered my phone calls, upfront and honest, and overall great customer service. Check all these reviews, you can see they are fake on google and facebook if you click through the people leaving them are not even in New York, or they never left another review. Another way is to ask them about certain reviews, for example someone refers to aluminum window replacements which is what we wanted, when we asked the owner about this job they had no idea what talking about. Only later realised it was because the job never existed.

So after doing exactly what they claimed would solve the problem, I have a bigger problem with more water damage than ever before. It has been over a week now, and they failed not only to fix the problem, but to at least have a decent response, other than some vague we are trying to get to you. The reader can look at these and decide for themselves if they want to deal with someone like this. My opinion - Stay away from these guys, don't make the same mistake I made. UPDATE - On Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at 2:49pm, minutes after posting my review, I received a phone call from George's Roofing. Then I received another phone call at 4:27 pm. They said they can have someone there the same day to try and fix the leak. Someone came around 4pm. They say it should be fixed, but let's see how it goes.
