10/10 quality, service, and communication (and price!). Contacted Benson, sent him a photo of the windows needing repair. He gave me the price per hour for labor, and the price for the parts he thinks would need replacing ($5-$15 a part). He came by literally the very next day, fixed everything within under an hour (and explained what he was doing), and I owed him exactly the price he had told me the day before. Could not ask for a better experience: utmost professionalism, very skilled, very quick, great price, explained everything. I could not recommend his services more strongly!! The window's fixed, doing better than it ever has! (Top window was sliding down and had balance issues, bottom window was popping out of the frame, they're both sturdy and fixed now). read more

Update, March 2026 - It happened again to a different window and this time the repair was SOMEHOW FASTER. I logged the project request with Benson at 12:41pm on a Saturday. The window was fixed by 2:41pm *the same day*. Unbelievable. I will never call anyone else ever again for window repair. read more

Benson was amazing. He responded immediately and scheduled a visit the next day. He had to order the glass which took one week and he installed it the day the glass arrived. The job was meticulous and done perfectly at a very competitive price. I will most certainly call him if I have any other needs with respect to my windows. I will also recommend him to anyone I know who has to replace a window. Great job, Benson! read more

Bensons Windows Repair is amazing and extremely professional each time. He checked all of our windows and gave me some good advice so I can maintain the windows myself in between repair visits. He arrived super promptly and worked efficiently. I have 5 double-hung windows that are old and sometimes slide downwards. He was able to repair these immediately. Then he charged me an extremely low rate, which I thought could not have reflected the state of the world's rising costs and inflation! How could it be so affordable? Our windows are light and airy now and they work extremely well. I would encourage you to try Bensons Windows Repair for as long as they're around -- this is New York's hidden gem. read more

I was very pleased with Mr. Benson's repair of a vinyl double hung window in my single family home. When I called, Mr. Benson answered the phone immediately, told me his fee for labor and parts and we then scheduled an appointment. Mr. Benson came on time, was proficient in the repair, the bill was what he told me over the phone and he was very neat. I would hire him again. read more

Bensons Windows Repair - Windows Installation Near Me

Benson Window Repair completed an efficient and quality window screen repair and replacement at a fair price with exceptional communication. 10/10 experience. Would hire again. Context: I needed 2 window screen remeshings and 3 full window screen installments. I did not know the measurements. I know how much this kind of repair costs to do independently and I know the level of labor required. Every estimate I received (and I requested many) were outrageous except Benson Window Repair. Experience: The owner spoke to me on the phone to explain each the cost with complete transparency, which were fairly priced. He texted pictures of each window immediately as he completed them. He was super flexible scheduling the measurements and installment to accommodate our schedule. He had to order frames to fit the windows and the order was quick and he notified me right away when they arrived. He gave notice when he was arriving for our appointment, was on time, and worked quickly but did a super quality job. He was polite and respectful to everyone in the home. I paid the first half of the estimate before he began and the remainder upon completion. Thank you Benson Window Repair. read more

I used Bensons window repair and I was scared at first because I got the quote and exchanged texts with benson via Yelp and my scaredness (not a word I know) was replaced with jubilation that 1. I gave deposit and He text me when window pane was in and when he was going to come back. My only issue is that I didn't get him to give me a quote for other windows I want to replace . Bensons window repair was absolutely amazing. Mr. Benson appears to be the owner and operator of this business. I called for service and a quote. Mr. Benson responded by end of day, measured and offered a quote that was very decent and when I learned that the quote included labor I immediately hired him. The picture window was ordered on day of quote 03/14 and done by 03/22 but installed on 03/24 only because of rain. The overall experience was extremely good. Great value and price. Awesome workmanship and very clean. I would definitely hire him again! read more

Benson returned my message within 30 minutes an hour after that he was in my home repairing three old aluminum double hung windows. All three were badly in need of general maintenance and two of them were completely inoperable (the top widows would slam shut and neither would slide up and down). Benson had all the parts needed on-hand and completed all work within 1hr. He is extremely knowledgeable and I'll certainly work with Benson in the future. Thanks! A+ read more

This guy is amazing. His response time is fast and he texts you if you can't take a phone call. I messaged him here and in less than 10 minutes, he calls me to ask me about my window issue. His rates are similar to other companies, but the response time and flexibility makes him much more attractive. He was in and out in less than 30 minutes. What I thought was a broken spring balance turned out only need a servicing. Benson was honest about it and adjusted it instead of charging me more to put in new parts. I would definitely use his services again and I would not hesitate recommending him to others. read more

Benson came in on the 24th early morning of the Thanksgiving weekend without asking for extra charges since we cannot open both doors and windows. The day before flying out of state for the holidays, the top pane of a bedroom window came down and would not stay up. We called Mr. Benson, who responded within minutes. A couple of hours later, he was in our apartment and fixed two windows that had been causing problems for years. He ordered some parts for a third and he came to fix it the day after we returned. He worked diligently and quickly, and charged us a very fair price. His work is excellent and he is a lovely man to boot. You will find no better. read more

I highly recommend this company if you are in need of window repair. Benson was highly responsive and would have come on the same day we called but we weren't available until the next day. He was prompt and was wearing a mask even though we are fully vaccinated. He fixed each of the windows with ease and without issue. He had the parts in his car and the whole job took less than an hour. We've had people in the past but no one as efficient and knowledgeable as Benson. While we hope not to have any future issues, if so we have saved Benson's information. read more
