five newly installed windows by Factory Windows and Doors

Factory Windows and Doors just replaced all 18 windows and my front door with 2 sidelights, and I couldn't be happier. I interviewed 9 other companies -- including major brands and top local contractors -- and Factory delivered the best overall value: top-quality, Energy Star-compliant windows with a lifetime warranty, expert craftsmanship, and a fair price. Willie, the owner with 40+ years of experience, gave honest advice with no sales pressure -- just thoughtful, helpful suggestions. His son Joe led the install crew and was meticulous. The triple-pane tempered windows look fantastic, are highly efficient, and built to last. Professional, clean, and seamless from start to finish. Highly recommend adding them to your shortlist. Five stars!

Side door

Willie was friendly, attentive and informative with designing/ordering 3 doors. Joe was meticulous and clean with the install. They took the time to do seamless install on a very complicated original outswing side door. All the doors look wonderful. They are highly recommended.

How they left interior after installation.

Ordered 3 kitchen Windows in October. Finally installed in mid-January. Windows were faulty and needed replacement. Waited 3 months for replacement part. Then they push it over to manufacture to replace instead of them. Why??? Because they are a third party vendor. Lie after lie. Paid for new interior finishing. What a mess. Had to complain for them to come back and chalk the windows. The painter asked me if a ten year old did chalking. Had to have it all removed. Another extra expense! Now waiting for second window sash replacement. Probably will arrive in June! You are nuts if you hire this company. Owner Willie will give you a full line of bull!

I have now gotten 4 installations from Window World in Farmingdale and I will never use anyone else…read morefor my windows or doors. In 2022, I got two bedroom windows (see previous review) and then this week, I got a new sliding patio door/backdoor and a kitchen window (awning style). I received three quotes for the sliding glass door. Andersen quoted me at $6,800 (of course, it was $9,700 but then their magical discounts brought it into the high 6's) and Power quoted me at $5,800 (of course, if I signed RIGHT THEN AND THERE, it would be $5,100 only). They also both told me that it would be 7-10 weeks for install. Window World quoted me at around $4,000 for the door and within 3 weeks of putting down a deposit, I had a new door and window. The door is perfect and has built-in blinds that open/shut and raise/lower. The window is gorgeous - I took their recommendations and went with the awning-style window instead of one that goes up and down (they called this Double Hung). Absolutely fantastic service from Bill and Matt, as well. The installation took about 3 hours and was done perfectly.

Working with the team from the consultation process to installation was nothing short of professional and knowledgeable. We were on a tight timeline of when we needed the windows to be installed and Tom and his team did everything possible to honor that for us. The installation team was efficient, diligent, and courteous. No complaints and highly recommend!

Last summer it was sweltering hot, with most days listed as "above average" and many of THEM at 90…read moredegrees or above. By Labor Day, the weather person said "If you thought THIS summer was hot wait a few years until you remember this summer as the last cool one we had". We have a large Western-facing bow window that was getting direct sun. We put that window in 27 years ago, and it worked perfectly fine. Opened, closed, clear glass, nice screens. Really, a very nice bow window without a single problem. I didn't have window treatments because I like a plain look and it's a living room, not a bedroom. But I felt like I was under a magnifying glass, with the sun concentrating in our living room. The air conditioner would not stop cranking, and it was only getting moderately cool. All my neighbors have the same problem, but solved it with thick drapery which, aside from being expensive (4K for one neighbor!) was just dark. I was out shopping with my parents for window treatments, and my father said "Just get Renewal by Andersen Low-E glass". Now my dad is a frugal guy AND a builder. I couldn't BELIEVE he was recommending replacing perfectly good windows, but he explained "They are the best windows out there, I only use Andersen, and look, my house doesn't get hot". And it doesn't. Well one more hot day later, and I call the Andersen people. They have fliers, commercials, social media ads...I just found one of those numbers and made the call. I might have said "I am roasting alive in my own house". Next week, a consultant, Vito Anasto, comes to the house, and he has his box of samples, and a heat lamp. He was so down to earth, and didn't try to "sell" me anything. In fact, I started talking about OTHER windows, and he asked if I had any idea what windows cost, and I hadn't. So he gave me a ballpark figure and I quickly agreed that we should just discuss the one bow window. It was higher than I expected, but I appreciated his honesty. So he explained how the Low-E windows worked, and I was already getting excited. Then, out comes the heat lamp. Vito said "I usually don't do this demonstration, but since it says here 'Client reports being roasted alive' let me show you exactly how these work". So he takes the heat lamp, opens one of my existing bows, and holds the heat lamp outside. I touch the inside of my glass, and almost burn my hand. Then we decamp to the table, and he has samples. We do the same thing with each of the samples, and with the top-of-the-line sample, it's like a trivet. Cool to the touch! I was SOLD. Vito explained that he doesn't have to really sell the windows, the product sells itself; he's just there to figure out which of the local and national deals--which are ongoing--will help me get the best price. And after some searching and playing on his computer, out comes a price. It was higher than I thought it would be, but it was one price. No add-ons, no surprises later...one and done. Well, I looked longingly at that sample that acted like a trivet, and signed. No regrets.

I don't understand why this business thinks it's a good idea to solicit business by putting adverts…read morein people's mailbox. That alone is an annoying thing to do.. but to make the advertisements intentionally look handwritten and personalized- as if it was some kind of report specific to your home.. and then to make it seem as if there are numerous problems? At the very least that is false advertisement and a scummy, unethical thing to do- at worst that is bordering on criminally fraudulent. Who are you expecting to fool with that anyway? The elderly? Older homeowner who could be easily tricked and manipulated? I've included numerous pictures of their scummy advertisements- and this is not the first, second, third, fourth or fifth one I've received. Probably got at least half a dozen of these. Please stop wasting paper and money by sending these offensive scamphlets out.

Hi Eric, I am…read morewriting because I believed it was important to provide feedback on my experience with your company NSE Windows. The installation of seven Marvin Ultimate Double Hung windows at my home in Centerport was completed today and I have to say that I could not be happier with the product, the process, and the end result. My home is over 100 years old and the moldings were intricate and required careful thought and meticulous measurement to achieve the optimal installation. In addition, the workers were dealing with plaster walls and existing materials that were from that long ago period in time. Mike and his team were able to execute this job with a level of skill and attention to detail that could not be surpassed. In addition, Mike's team was receptive, polite, and dedicated to doing a good job. I must say that the entire experience exceeded all my expectations. From the prompt follow up after my initial inquiry; your knowledgeable sales associate, John, coming to my home several times; meeting with you at the showroom to review the project and options; the site visit from Mike to go over the job, measure, and answer any questions; in addition to Eric, part of the team, coming to my home to assess and take samples of existing moldings. All of these efforts did a great deal to assure me that I was making the right decision in choosing Marvin and NSE windows. In closing, I would not hesitate to recommend NSE Windows to other potential customers and certainly would not look any further, if needed, for any future projects. Thank you again. Best regards, Celeste M Homeowner
