I have seen this place since 2010 (may have been a different name then). Searching for a new boarding facility and decided to give Wags a try. First bonus upon walk in there is zero smell, as horrid smells in a facility is an instant deterrent for me. Trip was delayed due to inclement weather the week of 1/26/26. I was delayed in Galveston for an extra 3 days. Phoned Wags informed of situation, they extended the dates and provided extra food as I prepared enough and one extra meal. Updates were provided at minimum once a day. Mason will definitely return when boarding is needed. read more

My dog was happy. The only reason I rate 3 stars is because they do not have a fire evacuation procedure for the dogs. When I asked what happens if there is a fire at the facility, they said they "focus all their effort on putting the fire out" and they "do not evacuate dogs." I asked what happens if it's a rager and they can't put the fire out, they said they let the sprinklers do the work until the fire department gets there. While my dog was happy, I thank god there was no fire. read more

I literally spend an extra two hours in my car every day so that my dog can go to daycare at this wag hotel because the team here is so amazing. I live in Plano and work in Frisco and driving that loop twice a day so that I have peace of mind that my dog is surrounded by people who genuinely care about him and treat him like family is worth everything. He probably spends more time with them than he does with me at this point. My only request would be that they open up closer to me, but they would have to move the entire team as well! read more

We toured the facility a few days ago and were impressed with Josh, the GM, and his fully capable staff. The facility is completely enclosed and climate controlled which was important to us since all our dogs are squish faces and...it's Texas. We have three dogs and the pricing structure is pretty decent for multiple dogs. Their play rooms and boarding areas were all clean and well kept. We like that there are different daycare and boarding options (rooms and pricing) and everything seems very customizable. We are halfway through our first day of daycare and I am completely obsessed with the wagcams, where I can watch my babies in real time. We have also been getting pupdates from the room monitor via their app. From the app to the facilities to the pricing structure we are super impressed. Glad this is in our neighborhood...this family is about to become regulars here. read more

Love bringing my girl here. They are really good about making sure she feels loved. There are some days where she seems more excited to be with the staff here than with me! These people definitely have heart. They know her by name and are always happy to see her. I tend to get her a bath and various treats. I've boarded my big ole doggie girl Zoe with Wag many, many times. Sometimes as many as 7 nights when we travel. The staff is tremendous! They send me multiple emails a day with pics of Zoe playing with her furry friends and her hooman friends. BUT, this week we decided to make a switch and let Wag do Zoe's grooming! We usually always get a bath before we come home, but I had met Kendra and decided to do a full groom before she came home from our last trip. I'm giving KENDRA a 5 star rating. Since Zoe had been at Wag so many times she KNEW exactly how I wanted her cut! I'm very picky about how they cut her face. As a Sheep-a-doodle I didn't want her to look like a poodle (no offense) I was so pleased when I picked her up. Wag Hotels Review: New Owners bought Pooch Hotel. The previous company: Pooch Hotel upon boarding offered a FREE SERVICE of potty breaks, as late as 9-10 pm. However, with Wag Hotel the last potty break is 6-6:30 pm. Currently If you ask for a slightly later potty time, they charge you for a walk for approximately $11 or $12 (depending on which Dallas location). Totally ridiculous! They are open & manned 24 hours a day, the same as the previous owners! Otherwise, the pet "has to potty alone in their allotted room", since the last potty break is 6 or 6:30 pm. Because of this my pet thought it was acceptable to pee inside the home. This new process has been problematic, as this new learned response has to be unlearned. The pet has to be disciplined and re-taught, which is NOT pleasant for the pet or the owner. Since this is a premium service (and added costs for holidays, & blackout dates, it is definitely NOT THE BEST Corporate decision FOR THE ANIMAL OR ME! read more

What an amazing facility! I've used other wag hotels in California, but it's so refreshing to see a Wag Hotels here! Joshua gave me a tour of the facility beforehand and really put my mind at ease. I loved the fact they had everything similar to the other hotels. My maltipoo enjoyed his boarding stay inside one of their deluxe suites and the fact I could see my doggie whenever I wanted on the app was amazing! All I can say is Wag Hotels-Richardson is the best hands down. We had to leave our fur babies for a total of 7 days and I was such a nervous wreck about it because I hate leaving my babies anywhere, but Wag Hotels kept me updated by sending pics multiple times through out the day which gave me peace of mind. Every time I received a picture, you could clearly tell that my babies were happy, having fun, and being well taken care of. I would definitely recommend leaving your doggies here when needed for daycare or overnight stay.
