Cherry Blossom cup
Heather W.

I'm love with their rotating flavors. Cherry Blossom will always hold a special place in my heart, but the Ube is pretty spectacular too. The only thing that would help me a ton is flavor release calendar, since I'm on the opposite side of town. We love the friendliness of the safe and how great they are at explaining their items. We always popping in to see new flavors. The only thing that could make this better is if they plan to open one near Lake Nona area.

I tried Wafu today and i liked it. The vanilla was your standard vanilla, sweet but not overly sweet. I wasn't a big fan of the cone, the texture falls apart easily. The ppl are so nice!

Wafu ice cream was new to me! I got an Ube cone and Cereal Ice cream. They put a skewer of mini mochi on top. The sweetness of the icecream was very on point. The staff was polite and it was really a great experience!

This place serves Japanese waffles and soft serve ice cream. I was a bit disappointed they didn't have more soft serve flavors but ended up getting a swirl of vanilla and cereal milk. You get one free topping so I chose fruity pebbles. Put it on a regular waffle cone and it was delicious! It's a very small place, just wish they had more flavors! The employees were efficient and friendly.

First time here came right as they opened. I've had this sweet bean in Korea in Japan and I still forgot to get it here so that'll be for next time. We did end up getting the custard and Nutella for sweet as well as the tamago for savory. The box was funny cause it said CNT at least funny to me. The cream was delicious and not overly sweet but still obviously sweet warm fresh. Everything you think you would need, the Nutella was the favorite because it's freaking Nutella and with the warm fish dough Made it even better. I personally am more of a same person so I got the tamago egg and truthfully the only thing was missing was hot sauce, but that's just personal preference for me. It was fresh hot fluffy. It was a perfect breakfast meal. I think the only drawback to a place like this is the wait time. It did take around 12 to 15 minutes which they did let me know ahead of time however that is the only drawback because delicious food I understand takes time and I'm for it so no deductions from me . I will definitely be back here again and I hope you will visit this place soon.

I had a savory wafu, so they don't only have sweet ones! They have bacon + cheddar, plus grilled cheese toastie. Also Kimchi but I didn't get to try that one this time! They also have seasonal flavors they rotate. It's easy to order online for pick up or even delivery if you are nearby. It's convenient if you are at another spot at east end market, and amble to place your order online and get a text message when it's ready.

Yum! There's always a huge line for Wafu at East End so we were glad to catch their truck at an event. Their Taiyaki is good -- I'm a traditionalist and like the red bean taiyaki the most, but I enjoy their savory taiyaki as well. Their soft serve texture is really creamy, without being too soft or runny. They have a special flavor of the season, so check their website for see their latest offerings.

Pandan Milkshake

We stopped by for a couple of milkshakes and were pleasantly surprised by how delicious they were--the pandan and ube flavors were rich, creamy, and flavorful. That said, be prepared to WAIT. The shop is small, and you're only inside briefly to place your order--then you're waiting outside. There were only two orders ahead of us (one being a soft serve with toppings), but it still took about 15-20 minutes to get our shakes. With three employees working (one focused on making the fish-shaped taiyakis and the others handling orders), the pace felt a bit slower than expected. There are a few seats outside, or you can wait inside near the elevators or browse a nearby jewelry store to stay out of the heat. Despite the wait, we were pleased with our milkshakes. Just plan accordingly if you're in a rush!

Cute little spot. When you enter you can smell the waffle cones being made. So good! Service was great and it was yummy!

Really dug Wafu's ice cream, they have different flavors they rotate in from time to time. They make everything fresh in front of you so it's cool to watch the show before you eat.

Cereal milk ice cream

Wafu at east end market is so delicious, you have to go if you haven't already! I absolutely love their flavors, toppings, and taiyaki waffles. They offer sweet and savory options as well as taiyaki cones you can fill with custard or Nutella. My ONLY complaint is that I wish there was more variety in their ice cream flavors. I feel like every time I try to go it's always cereal milk, and while it's always a fan favorite I would love to have more options if they ever were able to expand, or maybe change it out more frequently. They do change the flavor weekly, but maybe it's just my bad luck. I've been dying for a matcha or coffee flavor to come back. You order inside the actual restaurant and then the staff will call your name and hand it to you through the window. East end has so much seating and so many different places to choose from. The outdoor seating and string lights make for such a cute vibe at night.

Custard taiyaki

Got the custard taiyaki--it was very good and tasted very similar to the ones I had in Japan. Sat outside and ate it on one of their tables afterwards. I recommend for a nice sweet snack.

Great dessert options. Location is small and there is not dine in option. Had to get the Pandan taiyaki. They are made fresh order so expect a wait. I'll definitely be back for their other soft serve and seasonal flavors.

We went to celebrate my birthday and I felt like we got the lucky moments! Two standout moments: 1. We ordered the salmon tasting and when it arrived, there was another bowl that arrived that we did not order. Our kind server pointed it out and said "this hamachi was delivered by accident but it's your lucky day! Enjoy!" 2. My husband's sake glass had the smallest chip in the lip of the cup. A server pointed it out and said "so sorry, can I offer you another bottle of sake on the house?" We weren't going to say no to that! In addition to the tastings (which was incredible), we had the 5 hand roll pre-fixe as well as a shrimp, akami, wagyu, lobster, and salmon hand rolls. The hand roll standouts for us were the shrimp, crab & lobster! We like to share so whenever a hand roll came out for each of us we would take two bites and then switch, it was perfect cause then we got to try so much! All dining is at the bar with tall chairs. My main complaint is that they are stools and not chairs with backs, but that's cause I'm old now. But thankfully there are hooks for purses under the bar top, so I was thankful for that! We had a wonderful experience and I can't wait to go back!

I ordered the pre-set four hand-rolls which included hamachi, crab, sea bream and toro. We also ordered the hamachi and salmon tasting. The seafood tasted fresh and sashimi was mouthwatering. I also ordered one of their signature cocktails, Aga Punch. Refreshing and not too sweet. The place is gorgeous with a minimalist but elevated decor. The seats can get uncomfortable over time since they don't have a back rest. The sushi chefs make the hand-rolls right in front of you. When you get your roll the seaweed is still fresh and crispy ( don't wait too long to eat it). The concept is by chef Henry Moso, the mastermind behind Kabooki. Here you will have an elevated dining experience without the price tag. In my opinion the price is reasonable for the quality of food you get.

I don't know what they do to them but they are super tender fall off the bone but still have a slight crunch when you bite. The sauce/flavor is something I've never had...like a sweet teriyaki bbq of some sort. The Tom Yum Roll and Spicy Tuna roll were also great, not anything I would rant about but genuinely good and fresh. The desserts were both incredible!! The cream brûlée was sweet but not overpowering and the texture was perfect. The lava cake was nice and hot! Served with some fantastic ice cream that wasn't only vanilla, it had a hint of something! All in all it was a wonderful night, we really look forward to going back.

The ambiance is beautiful -- sophisticated and modern, with the vibe of a trendy New York restaurant. The service was great; our waiter, Jan, was super attentive, explained every dish on the MD menu in detail, and tirelessly answered all our questions (yes, we had a few, hehe). From the MD menu, we ordered the Scallops (impeccable and melt-in-your-mouth), the Hiramasa (I would leave out the gochujang; it was too spicy for a first course and overpowered the dish; such a delicate fish sashimi doesn't pair well with it, in my opinion), the Black Cod (perfect, just like the scallops, and melted in my mouth), and the Wagyu (super tender and flavorful, though I found it a bit saltier than necessary; the sweet potato cream and stout jus were perfect, but I thought the jam on top of the cippolini was too sweet). As for the desserts, we had the dark cocoa Choux (highlight goes to the brown butter cream) and the stone fruit purin (a very sophisticated cousin of a parfait). The quality of the dishes was incredible, but the reason for the 4-star rating here is the portion sizes, which were quite small. I left hungry, unfortunately.

The Fish Tempura roll was tasty and the Krab Blossoms were hot and fresh - The sesame sauce that came with them was phenomenal. I arrived around 430 and waited till they opened at 5. There were several others as well, waiting for the doors to open. Our party of five found one of this tables at the end which is shaped like a large D letter, weird sitting but the only other better seats were outside and I am not breathing in exhaust fumes of Mills as we eat. There is a small sheet of paper with the food items, no prices listed and you need to open a tab at the bar to place your orders. You also need to get your drinks from the bar but they do serve you the tapas style food. It's all small items, three or four smallish items per plate and in varying prices, not listed anywhere but online on their site. I ordered the crab and corn croquetas ($9.5), crab rice ($11), mushrooms in soy sauce ($7), beef with chimichurri ($7.5) and a soda ($3.5). The crab and corn croquetas are a good sized portion, coming in three balls with a tender inside full of tasty corn pieces and crab. The sauce they come with also delivers on making them stand out. The crab rice was a good sized scoop and you could taste the freshness of it all, use the small slice of lemon to give it a tiny extra kick. The mushrooms in soy sauce were absolutely rocking on the taste buds with the umami really strong but so tasty. I ate half of the plate and brought the rest for snacking on tomorrow. Yay The beef with chimichurri was about 3 ounces worth of beef and sliced into four really small bites. A bit pricey for what you're given. My friend ordered the pork belly which was the same size and had a lovely taste to it. She also ordered the gyoza which came with five small pieces and those were tasty. The servers were super quick in bringing out the plates and due to the smallish sized table, it got overwhelming a bit quickly and we had to shuffle stuff around but since the meals are smallish, you do eat pretty quickly too. You have to be there early or else the seating is a roll of the dice, as soon as we began to leave, someone scooped in to grab the table. One poor guy was with his lady at the bar, she was seated but he didn't have one for him so he was standing beside her. The parking is shared with the other restaurant beside it and there are signs about paying parking... but I think that's only for certain hours?
