Stopped by here while I was in the area and I'm so glad I did! Ordered three different waffles to split between two people. Chicken and Waffles (4/5): The chicken was really crispy and tender! Solid chicken, just not too memorable. Tomato Bisque and Grilled Cheese (5/5): The highlight of this experience... literally so so good. The grilled cheese was light and crispy, I've never experience the level of perfect crispiness from a waffle before. And it paired soo well with the bisque, which was rich and perfectly seasoned. Such a wonderful visit at Waffle Love. I mean who doesn't love sweet or savory waffles. I had to go with the classic waffle that had Nutella, whipped cream, strawberries, and bananas. I'm not going to lie though, the avocado toast type waffle also looked amazing. Will definitely try that next time. My friend ordered the chicken and waffles and it had two gigantic pieces of chicken on top. We met the owner and he was able to tell us about the history of the place. The story is also on the wall which is great if you want to learn more. They have a free topping currently as the Yelp check in offer, so make sure you take advantage of that. Limited street parking out front but they also have a lot in the back. Can't wait to come back! read more

This place is good for breakfast, we ordered the chicken waffles and avocado waffles, they are both good, the way they make their waffles is extraordinary, it take crisp and tasty the chicken is moist and tender as well. It's a small space but it was comfortable and clean, friendly staff too. One thing I did not see in the Menu is coffee but I did not ask. I'm sitting in the venue after eating a banana cream pie waffle. Good stuff! Freshly made, even the bananas were perfectly ripe! I love the story of how it all began, too! It's hand-written on the wall... a tale to tell that can be said by so many that fell victim to reduction in force (layoff or fire). But he pulled himself up off the ground by his bootstraps and remembered what his dear mom said "you can be ANYTHING you want to be" and he believed it because he knew she believed it! I'm embracing the warmth that the story brings as I sit here, feeling the after effect of a yummy waffle filled with chocolate with fresh banana slices and whip cream on top. Congratulations to you, Mr. Owner! You give the populous hope that opportunity lies behind every closed door! The selection of items are primarily breakfast or brunch. Very cute chicken & waffle place that's kinda tucked & hidden in the valley along Reseda. I drive down this road all the time and I've never noticed this place, so it's nice to find this hidden restaurant. First, I gotta say that this place has a hidden parking lot behind the restaurant with a couple of parking slots dedicated for Waffle Love that leads to their back entrance. It looks very cool on the inside with nice decoration and it's fairly well kept. Also, Waffle Love is VERY small on the inside. I came in on a Thursday at noon and ALL of their seating was filled (about 6 tables and a small bar that seats 4). Because of this, I wasn't able to enjoy a dine-in experience, but that's okay. Onto the food, I ordered the Breakfast Sammy. It tasted okay, but it is somewhat of a struggle to eat. Their waffle (as the buns for the sandwich) was VERY greasy and since it was such a thin waffle, it was struggling to hold my sandwich together. It became REALLY messy to eat my breakfast sandwich. Lastly, I feel like something is missing from my dish/their menu. I feel like they need a staple side to accommodate not just my meal, but a lot of their other items as well. Fries, hash browns, tater tots, or something of that kind would've made my meal feel more complete. I'm not necessarily saying it should be included with it, but at least offered in their menu of add-ons. It's a cool place to check out if you're a huge waffle fan, but with such a premium price, I think your money can be better spent somewhere else. read more

I would always pass by this place but never tried until recently. I tried their breakfast sammie and their red wonder. Both was very delicious! The service was quick and staff was friendly. The dining inside is not too big but it's a place to get a quick bite so people don't stay their long. There is parking in the back lot or street parking! read more

There is going to be a new location in Santa Clarita but we wanted to try so on a visit to Northridge it was good to see what the menu was like and also the service. Parking is a little challenging but after you are in it is a nice and cute location. Service was top notch and so was the food and the price. Boyd and Mike got something going with these waffles. They are sweet they are savory they are amazing...what makes them different is that they r made with a dough not a batter you pour. Mark explained it to me why they r so great...there is pearl sugar in the dough which makes them stand out from everyone the waffle is carmalized sugary all over. I'll be back guys. read more

We started eating here after seeing it on the food network about 4 years ago & only now read the story of how they came to be. Inspirational. Now, all I'm going to say about the waffles is... that when I went to use the restroom, my husband ate the rest of my waffle while I was gone! He's never done that before (and believe me he hasn't done it since!) I was SO disappointed! But that just shows how good they are. read more

WoW! Literally my words after the first bite. We tried the waffle with fried ice cream and the Nutella waffle. A great treat that will definitely help you with your sweet cravings. They also have chicken and waffles but we didn't try. We will have to come back for those. The staff was incredibly awesome, helpful and kind. First time visitors. Inside was nicely decorated like a small boutique and the place is fairly small with about 10 tables tightly packed and some shallow bar seating. Food was very flavorful and fresh. Waffles were cooked spot on. I chose the chicken and waffle and must say the chicken was crispy outside and juicy inside yet not so hot that I couldn't dig in right away; just perfect. Served with a spicy thousand island style dipping sauce which paired amazingly well with the maple syrup. Wife had the homemade lemon curd and berry waffle. Completely delicious. We added the cinnamon roll flavored waffle to share and couldn't finish it as portion sizes were great! We were greeted by an incredibly friendly cashier who took our order, informed us of their complimentary coffee (which was quite tasty) and further complimented us. She was eager to clean a table for us and was polite in letting us know the food would take 30 minutes or so to come out. Place was packed so a little warm inside for a tiny place. Eventually staff opened the front door for some air. Plenty of parking in the rear however back door says "right this way" without signage of business name on it so we walked around to the front to enter but left through the rear. This place is good but not great! Their prices are very expensive! I got the chicken and waffles it cost about 19 dollars. It comes with two fired chicken breast and one waffle. Dipping sauce for the chicken and syrup for the waffle. The waffle is not spectacular at all it's just a plain waffle. The chicken is the star and what I give most of my stars to because the flavor was great it was moist and cooked perfectly. You get two huge pieces which was great. The breading was seasoned well overall love and recommend the chicken. For the price I feel like they should give 2 waffles to match the amount of chicken. It would go better with the price. However I think it something everyone should try at least once. Especially if your looking for a nice waffle and chicken combo. read more

I discovered Waffle Love about 4 years ago while exploring the Northridge area with my husband. It was the first place we ate at after moving here and it was my confirmation that we had made the right decision. I don't even know where to start! Honestly, everything on their menu is absolutely delicious but if I have to recommend a few of my favorite waffles it would be: The Red Wonder, The Breakfast Sammy, and The Nash. The Red Wonder: waffle with cookie butter, strawberries and raspberries and their amazing whip cream. I love how their cookie butter is crunchy! The fruit makes it so fresh and yummy. Definitely my favorite sweet waffle from here. The Breakfast Sammy: OMG. Ooey gooey egg with bacon and the most amazing special sauce you'll ever taste! I recommend asking for an extra side of sauce because it's so good you'll want more. The Nash: I don't even have the proper words to describe this hot chicken sandwich. The flavor of the spices and oil are absolute perfection! The chicken is super juicy and tender (most of the time). My only complaint is that a few times I've ordered this sandwich the chicken has been a weird piece with fat or a rubber stretch like consistency. Other then that, it's my favorite hot chicken sandwich in LA! If you haven't been to Waffle Love yet, do yourself a favor and go check it out. You won't regret it read more

Came by on a Sunday but it was closed. I ended up going to Belgium waffle house that day. The day after Thanksgiving I came by and it was open. The strawberry waffles was a perfect complement for my leftover ham from Thanksgiving with a side of eggs. I took it to go and I didn't have to wait too long. Everything was separated so the waffle wouldn't get soggy. This place is a few dollars cheaper than Belgium waffle house and I think it taste a lot better. I'm just sad that it's closed Sundays. I've been coming here since they opened in the valley almost 10 years ago, all time favs is the breakfast Sammy + chicken & waffles. Never fails ! Breakfast Sammy is on croissant waffle which adds the perfect flakiness to the sandwich. The cashiers are always friendly. It does get a bit crowded inside since it's on the small side but you are able to dine in. read more

THE MOST AMAZING MEAL I'VE HAD IN FOREVER!! Found this on yelp last week and stopped by on our way to an errand in van nuys. I had the waffle breakfast sandwich with bacon and my bf has a sandwich with chicken that was insanely huge. We devoured it not saying a word but mmmm. She was an incredible waitress, welcoming from the moment we sat down, quick with spot-on recommendations. My coffee never even got close to empty before she was there with a new refill. Beyond that, she was just genuinely great to talk to. We'll definitely be back.

I declined the whip cream and nuts and didn't use the melted butter and syrup that came with it. My waffle was delicious, with mounds of fruit, although mine was delivered about 10 minutes after everyone else, and it wasn't a french toast waffle. My daughter had the traditional eggs benedict with potatoes, which she enjoyed. My pregnant granddaughter had eggs benedict, but removed one of the english muffins and added avocado. She was very happy. My youngest granddaughter also had the eggs benedict, but with fruit. We all left full. The service was very good, in spite of the busy day.

First and foremost, our group had not been there for 40 minutes yet, and if we had been, that would have showed how delayed their service was. Secondly, the hostess came off very rude and aggressive, she could have asked if we were just ready to order. Finally, we had been waiting for someone to take our order the entire time! We kindly advised we had been waiting to order. She ruined the vibes for the entire group, and we did not feel welcome for the rest of the experience. The waiters were extremely kind, just not whoever the hostess was on 5/9/26. Waffles came out first, would have made more sense to have them after the main meal. Eggs Benedict were very traditional, seasoned well but nothing to rave for. They definitely have a different take on chilaquiles, not what I was expecting but decently seasoned. Food is around 6.5-7/10. Well seasoned, flavorful but not unique. Not coming back to this location to due the experience unfortunately.

The pancakes are fluffy, the waffles have a nice crisp, the breakfast burrito is hefty, the eggs Benedict was light but satisfying. All the food was so good. The coffee was brewed perfectly and the watermelon juice was sweet and refreshing. This place is cash only but they do have an atm in case you forget. It is also on the smaller end so if you're a party of 4 or more you will be waiting but this place is well worth the wait.
