Went in tonight bc my husband had to have a waffle! Cooper was our server and Ronnie was our cook! Best service we have had in a long time ! Our order was correct on the first time in forever! Came in to eat .. Cooper our waiter was amazing he got our order right! Never happens ! Sometimes our cheese is missing or a side but he got everything on point and didn't miss anything ( my aunt is veryyytt picky) lol !! And our cook Ronnie is always great! Edited review to add: We came back for breakfast this morning because last night was our only bad experience here ever. The morning manager, Michael, made it a point to come and talk to us about our experience and 100% made it right and reassured us that they will be talking to the crew from last night. Food is always great. First and second shift servers are always fantastic. However the shift that's working tonight are not. Two of the servers (a girl and a guy) would rather tell jokes to each other or have a conversation than serve the literally FULL restaurant. The other female server wasn't bad she's just quiet and slower moving. The food was coming up slow because they were training a new cook which I don't fault her for speed at all and I actually feel bad for her because two out of three servers were not doing their job and helping make her training easier during busy dinner rush. I say 3* because we've never had problems at this location even when having to wait on a seat but tonight was ridiculous. Took 20 minutes for the servers to stop arguing over who was going to take us because no one wanted to, 5 minutes to get sweet tea, 30 minutes for biscuits and gravy, and 45 minutes for bacon. the bacon was sitting on the counter ready to be brought to us for 30 of those 45 and had to be remade. read more

I am so grateful to be back in a city we're the Waffle House is on EVERY corner. Waffle House NEVER disappoints when the hunger monster hits me at 4:00 am. That seems to be the time when my husband and I visit the most. I just love the double BLT and my hash browns covered, smothered, capped answered peppered! That's with cheese, mushrooms, onions and jalapeños! lol The staff members are ALWAYS welcoming and super chatty!!! I LOVE IT! read more

The Waffle House is just one of those places that you love based solely on how sleazy and nasty the place is. I consider the quality of one depending on the number of teeth the waitress still has. The more the worse the place. They have more or less every type of horrible artery clogging meal involving eggs and hash browns you could think up. Since it's a short order place, you could probably ask them to make something on the menu and they'd probably do that for you too. Rarely have I been to this place sober, and it being open 24 hours a day, they invite degenerates like myself. Horribly greasy food at a cheap price on an alcohol full body is just what the bartender ordered. At this place I've seen all types of characters, my favorite being the stripper that just got off work. Ya gotta have eggs and bacon right after grinding your cooch in someone's face. read more

A service was awful they messed up my order 3 times in one night, my bacon was all burnt it looked like coal, sweat tea was hot like coffee

I showed up around 7 am and met a group of 11 other people with plenty of room for all of us to sit together which was great. I had really good customer service and my cup was never empty of fresh scalding hot coffee. I asked what the waitress recommended and she said the cheese eggs were "really good"! So I went with that. It came with hash-browns, bacon, toast (I opted for white) and cheese eggs. Everything tasted ok except the cheese eggs. The problems are as follows: 1) No seasoning like salt and pepper 2) Texture was a mix of semi boiled, undercooked goopy blobs of awfulness. 3) American cheese makes the eggs cheesy?! I ate pretty much everything ok my plate and overall this place was ok. But those cheese eggs are the stuff of nightmares. read more

Service was mediocre at best. Server was super nice about everything though. She told me and my beloved wife to "Be Blessed". They burnt my waffle the first time so I had to go up to the bar and ask for my waffle because they forgot about my waffle. I'm still hungry! read more

We needed a place to eat on Easter Sunday, and decided that waffle house would be the place to go. They were not busy, and we easily found a booth. Our waitress was on the spot and kept our drinks filled. The food was fresh and tasted awesome. Solid service and meal! We will come back again soon! read more

I arrived and a young lady took my order and I paid for it. I know it's during the holidays so I try to practice patience and kindness. Still, no food after nearly an hour wait and I had to even wait to ask someone about my food. They finally fired up my food and the young lady claimed to never take my order. After finally getting my order, no "I'm sorry" or any type of apology was given. Rushing my order, the scrambled eggs and steak were still raw when I got home. At the end of the day, I spent 16 dollars on something I waited nearly over an hour for and can't eat. read more

Our view was straight thru their work area. Filthy, they were all walking on food and trash. When they aimed for the trash, if it missed, it was left where it landed. Our order got lost and when we complained, they jacked someone else's order, dumped part in the trash and added a waffle. When we got our food it was cold. read more

I'm usually satisfied with any Wa-ho. But my last visit was disappointing. I walk in on a Saturday morning. The place was moderately clean. Probably as clean as it will get on a Saturday morning rush. I had two waitresses and each were opposite sides of a coin. 1 was sweet and was what a waffle house server should be. The other argued with me, gave me crispy bacon when I asked for chewy, forgot my syrup AND my jelly, and argued with my other waitress right in front of me on who's name should be on the ticket. The other waitress did not fight with her and let her have her way, gave me what I wanted, made sure I was okay, took my dishes away when I was finished with them. When the bad waitress gave me bacon I took one bite and said I didn't want it. I told her, it was too burnt. She took the bacon over to the cook and the cook gave me better bacon. I WATCHED HER DELIVER THE BACON I TOOK A BITE OUT OF TO ANOTHER CUSTOMER!!! I had to walk over to the customer and tell him not to eat it. When it comes to a restaurant that I HAVE to keep and eye on who makes my food, is a restaurant not to be trusted. I gave 100% of my tip to the good waitress. read more

Well, this Waffle House seems to have gone downhill in a hurry. We had a mostly good dining experience the last (and only) time we had stopped in, but that was not the case yesterday. Wait staff was slow and inattentive, and the food was half-cooked or cooked badly. Our waitress had to be repeatedly asked for coffee refills, and, for some strange reason, kept moving the condiments (salt & pepper, syrup, sugar dispenser, etc.) out of our reach every time we used one and put it back down on the counter. It was more than a little strange. And, about half the staff spent a fair amount of the time we were there arguing over who got the next waffle out of the waffle maker and what carryout order it was supposed to be added to (our waitress had time to argue with them, but not to refill our coffees...we never did get the packs of sweetener we asked for). Not surprisingly, orders got messed up. The girl cooking my waffles (the blueberry ones which are usually pretty good at WH) forgot to put the frozen blueberries into the batter at the start, so she opened up the lids to add them about halfway through. The result? My waffles ended up only partially cooked. They also forgot half my side of bacon, and my wife's food was uniformly bland and tasteless. Some poor lady who came in and ordered after us...something that came with a breakfast sandwich..got hers served to her with both pieces of bread burnt to a crisp. She didn't complain or send it back...maybe she didn't want to be stuck there the rest of the day as slow as they were working. Last time around at this place, there was one obvious trainee but everyone else was professional and courteous. Just the opposite was true this time. The manager from before was the only face we recognized; the rest of the staff performed as if they were all trainees (and not good ones either). There are plenty of other Waffle Houses around; we'll go to a different one next time. Not recommended. read more

I went out for breakfast near my hotel. There was a Huddle House on the right, and almost directly across the street was a Waffle House. The parking lot at Huddle was pretty full, but the Waffle House was nearly empty. So I, already a fan of Waffle House, went in. The toast was cold and spread with icky stuff that was clearly not butter. The grits were cold. The scrambled eggs looked more frightened than scrambled, and they were not actually cold, but not so hot. The bacon was chewy. Bacon should not be chewy. It dawned on me what the parking lots were saying. The next morning, I went to the Huddle House. Great hot grits. Hot toast (still no butter). And the bacon was crisp and delish, as God intended. Scrambled eggs were yellow, not streaked with orange veins. I know that these joints are franchises, with varying management skills applied. So I won't give up on the Waffle House, just avoid this one forever. read more
