I've never seen a Waffle House as busy as this one was. We were just passing through on our way to a game. The amount of customers though DID NOT slow the staff down. They hustled their tails off to get orders in and up. I can't say enough good things about how hard they worked. Every seat was taken. It's always so interesting to see Waffle House staff handle taking in a lot of orders at once. The team we watched were super organized at getting all the orders right. And when they messed one up they were fast to resolve it. Not sure how they got their rating on here but it's definitely way too low to me. Our food was correct and delicious. Got a to go order yesterday morning with a gift card. The staff struggled with figuring out how to ring up a gift card, but they were so sweet and never made it seem like this was an inconvenience. The food, as always, was amazing. My double hash brown and chocolate chip waffle were perfect. When I'm at a Waffle House, I am not expecting fine dining or the cleanest anything. If I'm going to WH, I don't want those things. I want my inexpensive breakfast food and atmosphere unlike anything else. Love this place. read more

4am and a few customers , thought it would be a typical good meal. Walked in and Megan the only waitress gave me a forced greeting Every table top was nasty. The cook was spraying water from a hose onto the floor and everything on the shelves below the counter( I'll get back to that) Megan came to my table with a dirty rag to wipe it off After bringing me my coffee she tried to push me Into ordering before I'd even seen a menu. The food was subpar at best Toast with no butter or jelly and over toasted The food is ordered literally spilling off the plate . While I was eating a man sitting in the booth next to me was carrying on a conversation with the cook and the waitress. Profanity was amuck. Back to the hose water Megan picked up a bag of sugar and proceeded to pound it on the counter cussing because water had hardened it O when I was drinking my coffee with sugar I was drinking mop water . Wish I looked up the reviews before we stopped. Our server who had to be on heroin (scabs, lack of coordination, and dreary look of her eyes) was busy chatting up with a guy who was shirtless outside and didn't give us our drinks or food in a timely manner (given we were the only ones there at the time). The she proceeded to manage to make it back to the counter while eating her almond Hershey bar and drink a redbull and was holding her candy bar over our food with her mouth full as she set it down on our table. Not too sure what was in her mind to think that this is okay. Do I even mention I don't think she was washing her hands. Ambiance was great... had open orange juice, Red Bull, and other foods on the bar table. With all their personal belongings on the bar table. DONT EAT HERE. Save yourself from a awful experience. What sent me to this review is the fact that the blue haired server Rye was eating a almond Hershey bar over our food as she was bring it to us.... I love Waffle House. This is the worst one around. I know they are short staffed but the waitresses are yelling and talking about when they got off work so they aren't that busy. Left after 20 minutes of being ignored. As we were leaving the waitress told us, "I know you are mad but I'm busy!" Went down the highway to Walton and had much better service! read more

TL;DR version: Dirty tables. Dirty air vent. Left as soon as we got there. The Longer Version: the parking lot was the first clue that this restaurant may not be a great place to eat. It was empty. But, we wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt. When we walked in, we noticed how dirty the tables were. One table still had dishes with food on them. One of the workers was still eating when she told us to sit where we wanted. When we picked a table, it had bread crumbs on it. We then asked if they could clean the table. The other waitress told us to pick the clean table. We decided to leave. We then noticed dirt in the vents. What is happening to these restaurants? Ridiculous! read more

Umm let's just say I felt kinda uncomfortable with the service that I received here at this restaurant the young lady working behind the cash register I noticed that she took the other two customers order that was ahead of me which the customers happened to be the same race as the cashier so she kinda gave me uncomfortable vibes because I don't understand why she didn't just take my order why did she pass me on to another co worker of hers? although the rest of the staff really gave me no issue other than not giving me two sets of plastic fork and spoon set I had to go back into the restaurant and get a second set because I had two orders not one! What's the other person to do eat with their fingers I think not but anyways it's the South so I really don't expect anything other than this kinda behavior unfortunately ! Never had the chili before and it was solid. But main rave is Cathy was very attentive and kind, brightened up the whole experience.

THATS SO RAVEN... and the scab man!!!! When we first got there everything seemed good Elizabeth was a good waitress however another girl raven only stopped her video chat call to eat food from her plate and lick syrup off her fingers. She then immediately with wet spit fingers grabbed orders to politely give to the wrong people. Food was good, but this is the slowest Waffle House I've been to. I've been at waffle houses that are full of newly-seated customers and have only 2 employees working, and can crank out the food and keep tables cleared. This morning, only half the tables were in use with 4 employees. It took about 20 minutes to get our food after we ordered and several tables were full of dirty dishes for about 15 minutes after the previous customers left. Several customers waiting for a clean table left, and I can't say I blame them. read more

We moved to the area several months ago and road construction off the exit is a mess so it doesn't make it easy to get to, for months week day services has been lacking. However every time we have ordered or went on the weekend they have been very prompt. The food has always been good. They have missed an item on a to go order once. read more

Believe it or not, this was my first time ever at a Waffle House. Crazy! I had an alright time, the service was really friendly, and the food was pretty good. I woke up in the Waffle House parking lot only wearing underwear on my head (they weren't even mine). Five stars, would definitely go again. Chocolate chip waffle and sprite is my go to choice for meal time. Very thankful they served me with the attire I had on. It consisted of paper thin jeans and cowboy boots. The staff was also very kind as to allow me the privilege of chewing my toothpick as I played with my switchblade. Thank you Waffle House for always being my number one G. This Waffle House doesn't even deserve a star. We get to this Waffle House and our waitress goes to get our drinks, instead of getting our drinks directly to us she talks and carries on with the other workers. After that we get our All star breakfasts, my grits were scrapped from the bottom of the pan. My waffle was more like a ruffle chip (it was so thin)! I sent my grits back to get hash browns (well done), they came out cooked regular. I've had good Waffle House before. Now let's talk about the service, after the food was bad and we asked what they could do about it, they brought a bill back with $10 taken off. That left is paying $18.99. WHAT!? 2 drinks and 2 All star breakfasts for $28.99 are you freaking kidding me!? With all of that being said this was the worst experience I've ever had in my entire life at a restaurant. The service was not good at all. They had three teenagers working there. One had been working for three months and the other two were new. There was no adult in sight to keep them in order. They were completely unprofessional. They were yelling at each other and calling each other homewreckers. They were unnecessarily loud and weren't being the best to the customers. The food is really overpriced for the quality of it. They were talking about how other workers were sexually harassing them. The experience was just terrible overall.
