The bacon was also the perfect crunchiness. Will be back next time I'm in the area!

Right off the bat we arrive to a grimy floor, little to no ambiance, just a dirty, unkept diner (more no that later in the paragraph) lthere's few people in the restaurant but the windows and floor are dirty. We are sat by our waitress and the seat is dirty and held together with duct tape and dreams. Orders come and the food is alright but I didn't really want to eat in a place this dirty. The Shammy Breakfast was absolutely delicious and came with plenty of food which was definitely enough to share! Everything was fresh and satisfying, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. You can really feel that down home hospitality from the moment you walk in. The only downside is that the space is pretty narrow and cozy. With customers seated at the counter, be prepared to do a little sideways shuffle along the wall to get by! The back dining area has only about five small tables, so seating can be limited when it's busy. But honestly, the food, service, and hospitality make it worth squeezing in! I've been hearing good things about this place but the menu looked simple so I was hesitant. Well it's easy to say I was very wrong about being iffy when it comes to what we were served. When we walked in we were greeted by a very friendly host who put us at a window seat which was really nice. I love having a view with my meal. The space is also very reminiscent of fine dining with the white table cloths, candles, and flowers on the table. It's also worth saying they have several lunch specials aside from what's on their regular lunch menu. Our server was also a very friendly gentleman who gave great recs when we asked. My friend got the French onion dumplings and she LOVED them. I got the brussel sprouts and with the accompaniment of the goat cheese and dried cranberries, they were probably the best I've ever had. I almost ate all of the huge bowl. I got the chicken sandwich for my meal that was dipped in a hot honey like sauce and it was also great. Very juicy and the ranch I got on the side was a great addition. I also got the truffle fries and they were super yummy. Overall an excellent experience and I'm so excited to come back and try their dinner menu. A must if you're in the Kernersville area!
