Sunday morning, not busy, about as many employees as customers and yet we had to wait which is unusual for Waffle House. We asked for coffee and water. We finally got the coffee. Never did get the water. I ordered a sausage bowl, no cheese with hash browns scattered well. I like them a little crispy rather than nearly raw. Our order arrived and there was cheese so I told her it would have to be remade. She didn't mention scattered well when she called out the reorder and sure enough the potatoes came out way under-cooked and I sent it back again. I was annoyed, but I wasn't making a scene. A minute later a woman came over from behind the counter and asks what is wrong. I begin to explain and she interrupts with "Look, I don't need any attitude from you. If you got attitude you can take it right out the door. I just want to know what you want." So I repeated my order one more time and she walked away leaving us stunned by her rudeness. Worse customer service ever.The young lady took my to go order and asked me to sit in a metal chair while I waited.mind you the place only has one booth occupied otherwise the place is empty,and she doesn't want me to wait at the counter. Went to waffle house after church with the family and of course it was good food. Service was a little backed up and a cook by the name of Cedric took time to talk to us and answer questions we had in reference to the pork chops. After waiting a little longer Cedric decided to take our order while he was cooking and proceeded to have our order started as well as later informed our server of our order. He was helpful and patient to make sure it was good and it was delicious. My wife ordered the all-star and I had the double hashbrowns smothered, covered, and peppered with bacon and some of my wife's waffle. I appreciated the effort that was showed to make sure we had a good experience and that will always make me come back to this one when I am in the area. Cedric deserves a raise for sure. He even took time to clean the grills and his tools from his station, which I have never seen and we don't come to waffle house for the clean environment...I'm just saying. read more

Came to the Waffle House while staying at the Holiday Inn because it was a 2 minute walk. I've seen all these Waffle House's all over the place while driving here and my several trips to Atlanta. Hell I've even seen a Waffle House across the street from each other. So as they say, "While In Rome...". The Waffle House is this area's version of a quicker Denny's. While the place is dated to 50's flash back greasy spoon people talk about, the people here were friendly enough and quick on the grill. If you're on a diet, I would look elsewhere. So I got the Patty Melt and a Coke. Not the worst patty melt I've had, but certainly not the best. But to get everything for under $11 including tip and fill me up, I really can't complain. I ate the whole thing even though it was a bit greasy for my taste buds. Maybe next time I'm here I'll try breakfast. Otherwise this place is what it is and you shouldn't have high expectations. I'll probably never review another Waffle House again, but this was my first time ever going into one. So I'm going to review my experience rather than this particular location. I sat front and center with a perfect view of the kitchen behind the counter. Yes, it's kinda gross but the coffee was good and my fiesta omelet was good. I stopped in mid-morning on Christmas Day while traveling. The place was packed, but the young lady who was the hostess was quick to get folks seated. The servers and all of the staff were very pleasant and enjoyable for the patrons. The food was quick and hot. If they can be this great on a holiday while having to work, I'm sure they're as good, if not better, the rest of the time. Keep up the great work, folks!!!! read more

This Waffle House is a great one! The staff was very friendly -in line with the rest but the food was cooked exactly like i requested and tasted great. I love WH in general because they are one of the few places I can find a plethora of choices on a very limited diet due to several food allergies. They always scrape the grill for me so I don't have to worry about cross contamination when my food is being cooked. It may not be Michelin starred but it's a solid, consistently good staple when my family and I are traveling on the road where I know I can find something to eat. read more

We were staying at the Hampton Inn up the road and decided to come in for some breakfast-for-dinner with our four-month-old in tow. The staff was so welcoming to us and the baby, and our waitress checked in with us and refilled our waters more regularly than I've had happen at some much fancier restaurants. Then, when it came time to pay, she invoked every deal under the sun to make sure our bill was as low as possible. Big thumbs up for this Waffle House. read more
