House salmon had plenty of toppings. They certainly didn't ration tomatoes, cucumbers or cheese!

Walked to for take-out. Met the new owner/manager Hoover. He was very personable. Ordered 2 entrees of Salmon with shrimp & mushrooms, baked sweet potato w/ butter only & house salads w/ ranch dressing. I requested salmon be cooked med rare knowing it would continue to cook. It was perfect when I got back home after resting about 5 minutes. The shrimp were decent size but I would've preferred them grilled a little more vs. just sauteed. Still they were good. Do wish there were more mushrooms. It would be better. But overall I was pleased for this was the first time I'd ordered this. Salads were loaded with toppings, really loaded. Next time I'll go in for dining rather than take-out for this entree. Hoover & the other employees that took my order and those working as I waited were pleasent.

The Bloomin burger is always my favorite. The ambient lighting is always helpful when dining out. Staff is always great.

Me and my family came here this past May for my graduation dinner and I decided to give outback another chance since the last experience wasn't so good. True enough my food was hot and fresh. The sauce that goes with the coconut shrimp a flop. Also, I had the house salad and it was dry. The shrimp were better off without the sauce and the baked potato was good. I had the strawberry kiwi rita and it was good. Overall the customer service could use some improvement because it took them 10 minutes to give us a menu after being seated. We sat at the bar and it was nice and clean as well as the restrooms. But it will be a while before I come back to dine in.

Had lunch here on Saturday (8/3/24) with an Auburn University graduation party of 20. Chris our waiter was "tops". He never complained and when we apologized for being too extra he said no problem and kept it moving. I had the baby back ribs which were excellent and my wife had the chicken wings which were also good. There were many other dishes eaten, but I can't comment on them except to say no one complained. Whenever we're in Auburn Ala I know where to go for good ribs. Thank you Chris and mgmt.

The food was bland and it took an hour and a half to even order. The bill was also over $100 bucks. It's overpriced and not worth it.

I started off with the Moon Over Madagascar, and let me tell you--if this drink had a fan club, I'd be president. The black tea and vanilla combo sounded like a weird dare at first, but it ended up being shockingly amazing. Whoever came up with that mix deserves a bonus and maybe a parade. Now, let's talk about the shrimp and grits, because these were not just "good." These were "call your mama and tell her you've tasted greatness" good. The chef is from South Carolina, and you can taste every bit of Lowcountry pride in that bowl. Perfectly cooked grits? Check. Pile of blackened shrimp? Double check. A sauce that made me rethink my entire life? Oh yeah. If they sold that sauce by the gallon, I'd be bankrupt but extremely happy. Erica, our waitress, was an absolute rockstar. Super helpful, incredibly informative, and somehow managed to keep the perfect balance of friendly and professional--even on the Sunday after the Iron Bowl, when half of Auburn is stress-eating. The place was spotless too, which is impressive considering the emotional damage that game causes every year. Bottom line: The Hound is a must-visit. Come hungry, order boldly, and thank me later.

It is definitely on my Alabama "must-visit" list. I am from out of town, but I came looking for a workspace and wanted to grab lunch while I was there. I came around 1 PM and there was a 30 minute wait for 2 for lunch, but have no fear. We just went upstairs to the martini bar and were able to wait and work. We were seated in the garden for lunch, which are mostly cute high tops. Before we even began our meal, a fat adorable white rabbit crossed our path. Then an equally beautiful black rabbit crossed our path. I had no idea there was wildlife just prancing around and I was giddier than a little kid. (There are also ducks and geese who run around!). Now to the food: Had to get the smash burger because it was award winning and boy it did not disappoint! The depth of flavor and the juiciness of the patties were impeccable. I opted for guda cheese instead of cheddar, and I added grilled onions, and this was an excellent choice. The fries are super crispy and the comeback sauce is perfect for dipping . Don't judge us, but we also shared some desserts. The standout was the white chocolate cheesecake, which was sweet but not super indulgent. I would definitely skip the crepe next time. The description made it sound delicious. But overall, it was lacking in a flavor. It was by far the most disappointing dish of the day. Even though it takes a while for food to come out service is impeccable, and the servers are just so lovely, so be patient. I will definitely make the Botanic my go-to establishment when I'm in town!

Dining is an experience and my hobby my husband says. We indulge most nights in many great restaurants all around us or when we frequently travel. I want to start by saying my friend chose this space well! Though it was about a 40 minute drive from their house it was worth it. The venue, grounds, market, dining areas, etc. are all truly a delight. I cannot believe a place like this exists in this area. We started with adult beverages and the amazing complimentary bread with an assortment of butter options. For appetizers, we ordered the pimento cheese and corn ribs (forgot to photograph). Both were delicious! For entrees, the ladies had the pasta dish with my friend adding the shrimp. I am a vegetarian so I did it without any protein. It was very good. The men had the filets with the sides and found them to be cooked properly. The pros were as follows: Beautiful venue/spaces Delicious food The market had some nice shopping gifts to pick up for souvenirs and pastries for breakfast the next morning The cons: We were supposed to be at an inside table and they said that was not the case once we arrived and it was way too hot outside and the flies were terrible. I felt as if they should have accommodated us as we still waited 30 minutes to be seated despite her making reservations weeks ago. That really put a damper on the experience. Their corkage fee to bring your own wine is $40 per bottle. I take my own wine to every restaurant I go to and have never paid $40 even at much higher end places. The waitress was nice but loud and forgetful. We asked for things multiple times and never did get some of the requested things. They do offer lunch and dinner and the menus are a bit different. They focus on fresh produce from local farmers and some they grow there. If you are within a 30 minute drive, I would suggest going as there is not much in that area that compares according to our friends. There are multiple dining spaces so make sure you choose where you want to dine and confirm that. There are multiple bar options as well.

According to the receipt the last name is Hodges who was our server. I had high hopes, but it ended up being a very horrible experience. We had a table of 6, with a high chair requested which they couldn't (and didn't try to ) accommodate. That's fine we looked past that. Next, was no happy greeting, just basically an asking of our order of drinks. Drinks were delivered and with it being Father's Day we know the wait is extra long with things. However when other tables are getting rolls and you are still sitting empty, to me it speaks of the priority that your waiter or waitress makes concerning your table. I have been a waiter so I know about prioritizing your customers. So when we asked for rolls, our server stated I will try to get some but none are out. When I look at the station, I see plenty of rolls out and her just not going to get them. Then a manager comes to greet us. Nice fellow. He ask if there is anything we need to let him know. We told him some rolls would be nice, ......and we never seen him again. So upon asking our waitress again, I guess seeing our frustration she went and got some easy. So the food was brought out and tasted good and correct. The waitress is then never seen again till she is ready to see how to split the tickets. By this time my wife has hopped up herself and got us to go boxes, we had to ask another waiter for some items and everyone had empty drinks wanting refills and ....some more rolls. So upon her coming to split tickets and give us that, we asked her for more rolls and refills. I asked her for a refill of sweet tea which I had been waiting for a while and more rolls. She brings back what I thought was sweet tea and tells us no rolls are available. We finally decide to just go with my wife apologizing to me cause she wanted my Father's Day to be a better experience. Upon leaving we get to where they set out the rolls and it's like 4 baskets just sitting there. I ask a different manager because we never seen the guy manager again, can I have some rolls because I asked for some but our waitress never delivered any. This manager gave me some right away. Great. So leaving at least happy about that, then I went to taste my to go sweet tea which wasn't sweet on the way home and was seriously disappointed again! I don't like to complain because I know being a waitress or waiter does take a lot in giving good service, but this lady either needs tables of just 2 peopke or a different job or position, or retraining. My mom was even going to make a to go order but was told if she placed it she would have to wait a while. My mom was thinking well had she as our waitress came to our table earlier to check on us she could have placed it earlier and it would have been ready by the time we left. Just a bad, bad experience. I almost, besides the good food and my friends and family, wish we had went somewhere else. I WILL NOT have her as a server again, if and when I go back. Disappointed and the experience was disappointing. Very disappointing. I could say more (table not wiped before being seated, our waitress checking other tables but not ours...etc.) but I think anyone reading will understand. Let me go and throw away this unsweetened tea.

In addition, some of the flavors just feel way out of whack for totally unrelated reasons. Sauce that the duck came in was thin and overwhelmed by honey. The risotto it was served with seems like it should be rich and homey. But despite a crazy amount of added dairy still tasted thin and flat. Can't tell you why. Wonky seasoning? None of the dishes reflected any familiarity with acid to lighten or balance a dish. Fried green tomatoes were pretty mid despite a quality remoulade and a bunch of pimento cheese. Ingredients seem like they're decent quality. Desserts are legitimately top notch. Everyone recommends the peanut butter pie. And it is excellent, though pretty obviously not long out of the freezer. The affogato Is legitimately fantastic. And I'm not even talking about the pageantry of dumping the espresso on the salt ice cream.
