The bourbon pancakes were phenomenal!!!! 3 perfectly made super fluffy layers of pancakes with fresh bananas, pecans and their famous bourbon butter syrup... yeeez! have ever been to heaven? Ordered DoorDash as we wanted a good breakfast on a Saturday morning. Once it arrived we were missing one of the three breakfast ordered. After two calls and being placed on hold three times for 15 mins. The manager came on and stated her systems stated they provided everything ordered. We offered to text her the door dash order page and pictures of what was received. She refused to send us the missing items and refused to refund our money. Said if we wanted to drive to the location she would provide replacements other than that she was done... just terrible attitude and terrible customer service from a higher end restaurant and from a member of management. Only one complaint: the syrup for the pancakes and waffles needs to be upgraded for flavor. Other than that, the staff was friendly and efficient, and we enjoyed eating outdoors comfortably. Everyone who ordered the chicken and waffles finished their plates with satisfaction, and those who chose traditional breakfast options were equally pleased. One of the best breakfast places in town if you get tired of Waffle House. The portions aren't large but the food is high quality. You can get a healthy breakfast and some amazing drinks. They have a full bar for breakfast lol. I had the blubbery lemon mimosa and could feel a slight buzz. Our waiter said it was his first day solo on the job but he was amazing. We would've never known. We were told it would be about a 45 minute wait, a little long, but we decided to wait. After 45 minutes and noticing that large groups that arrived well after us were being seated, we checked and were told we were still 8th on the list to be seated. We checked with the manager after an hour and discovered that they were seating walk ups that they knew ahead of, probably thinking we weren't local. Everyone was very energetic and had a smile. We were seated immediately because we avoided the morning rush. Heads up that they do not start serving alcohol until 10 AM. If this is your first time visiting another broken egg, they will bring you four complementary beignets to the table. The beignets were fresh and tasty. I ordered the Mardi Gras omelette along with the city grits, both were absolutely delicious and great portions. My friend and I ordered the strawberry French toast. Presentation was good, but the taste was just OK. The French toast seemed over saturated and didn't really have any taste to it, just a hint of sweetness. Back in town and had to get to Another Broken Egg Cafe. This place is great for breakfast or brunch. The food is so good and the staff is so friendly and attentive. There is both inside and outside seating and we normally sit outside. They offer several dishes that bring the extra taste to traditional food like omelettes. I love the Floridian omelette as it offers sautéed crab meat. Wow! Other dishes use goat cheese which really amps up the flavor. The scramblers and French toast are also very good. There are peak times, especially for brunch on weekends, and the wait can be significant. But the food is worth it. The omelets and Benedicts are great, the coffee is good, service is pleasant and friendly (even when things are busy) and it's a very enjoyable place to eat. The portions are generous; on my last visit my dining companion took half her breakfast home with her. I particularly enjoy the lobster and brie omelet: it's my go-to favorite, unless something else is on the seasonal menu (like the lobster Benedict), but a plain old eggs Benedict is excellent. It can get a little noisy, especially if they are busy, especially on weekends, but that happens everywhere. I'll keep visiting while they keep up the quality and good service. read more

Went for breakfast while in Auburn for graduation. Super cute atmosphere and wonderful service! They gave us some complimentary beignets for being first time guests and they were yum!
