But the fact that the place was completely empty at 6 p.m. probably should've been my first clue. The young lady taking my order suggested the nachos instead of a regular bag of chips since they came with cheese. Sounded great at first... but in the three short minutes it took me to drive one block back to my hotel, the cheese had already solidified, and all the chips underneath had gone soggy. They even tasted like they might've been stale to begin with. Since the cheese had hardened, they were inedible. I also ordered the French Dip sandwich. It came panini-style -- flattened and toasted -- and looked really appetizing at first glance. Unfortunately, the roast beef was cut in thick slabs but layered so thinly that there just wasn't much meat at all. The texture and balance were way off, and it just wasn't enjoyable to eat. One quarter of the bread had no meat at all. I truly wanted to like Momma Goldberg's, but this was not a good experience, and I won't be returning.

Plenty of free parking, clean and neat inside, and the place was well maintained. The customer service was friendly, and there were lots of sandwich options to choose from. They poured quite a bit on the sandwich, and it was a little too much for my taste. A lighter hand with the vinegar would have made it even better! Let's just start if by saying if i could give negative stars i would! The staff are rude and nasty, and what makes it even worse is the manger is too! The tables and bathroom is always dirty. The food is never right and takes forever to get it. And what makes it so bad is the fact they have roaches too. They always want a tip and never wanna fix the problem! The old management was way better. All the good workers either got fired or left. The bitch of a manager must've ran them away. They need to shut this damn place down immediately. I was also told by a worker that a while ago the mangers boyfriend was making racists comments to a customer. That doesn't make any fucking sense. I also had a friend of mine order catering a few days ago and they forgot more than half of her order. When she called the girl that picked up said that she wasn't sending nobody else out there to give her the rest of her food! SMH ... I've also came in before and heard the staff talking about how much they hated the manger. I've came in before another night and heard staff fussing. And one sunday morning i came in and the staff was listening to very vigor music on speaker. I wasn't gonna leave a review but my last experience is the reasoning for me leaving this review. It's a build up of bad stuff happening. When you ask for a refill they ignore you and make you stand there forever. This place is just horrible and they really need to shut it down or get better management. read more
