We went for lunch - I had the Newk's Q Sandwich with chips as a side. The sandwich was super delicious and I actually had to stash the chips for later as I was full. The lady who took the order was nice and the food came out pretty quickly. The cost wasn't too bad either. Women's bathroom was clean when we used it. If we're ever back in town, I'd definitely come back again.

The coffee is excellent, and the service is a mix of both friendly and slightly less pleasant. Some staff members recognize us and have our cups ready when they see us coming in, while at other times, we encounter new staff who seem uneasy with customers. I would suggest a better training program for new employees. One piece of constructive criticism: there are times when the coffee urns run empty, causing customers to wait for a refill. We typically inform a staff member, and it's addressed promptly, which we appreciate. Additionally, I've noticed the remodel over the past year, and I really enjoy the new ambiance!

I've tried to like this place, it just seems challenged each time. For me pizza is built on three…read morethings, all of equal importance, Crust, sauce, and cheese. You need all three to build on. I got a slice of "NY style". Would it hurt to put some sauce on it? Crust was fine, cheese was ok, but dry isn't the way to go guys. The up charge for what was two small tomato slices was honestly embarrassing. The sauce would have made a big difference. The sub I got was fine, but an inattentive waitress caused it all to be barely warm (the pizza slice was barely warm and baked sub was cold). I was just about to pay for my drink and leave. It's a slice and a sub, I watched a table order a whole pie and have it delivered before my meal. The wait staff was busy talking and complaining of boredom in a booth right in front of me, while one older woman was hustling all over the restaurant. I think I've reviewed them before, as I come here for business often. A little hustle and leadership would go far in the customer experience here. No drink check, and now I wait to pay.....and wait.....and wait. If you are a fan of barely warm, strip mall mediocrity and have time to wait for service in between the seat time of the staff...drop on by. The three stars are generous based on my view as I think it could be a great spot.

The atmosphere was clean, welcoming, and cozy--definitely a good setup for a casual bite. Ordered the Johnny's Deluxe pizza, adding black olives to an already stacked lineup of sausage, onions, mushrooms, green peppers, beef, Canadian bacon, and pepperoni. While it came out hot and cooked just right, it lacked the bold flavor you'd expect from such a loaded pie. If anything, it reminded me of something you'd grab from a gas station--not bad, just a little underwhelming. On the bright side, the service was fast, and the staff--mostly college students--were friendly and polite. Overall: Good location, great vibes, and solid service. The pizza didn't blow me away, but I'd be open to trying other menu items next time.

I haven't been to a regular "Sandwich Shop" in YEARS .. but Jersey Mike's Subs now has Udi's Gluten Free Rolls as an option. I was out and about and got hungry.. anyone sensitive to gluten knows how difficult it is to find a safe meal in a pinch. I decided to give Jersey Mikes a try but I gotta admit I was Soooo nervous. I was warmly greeted, and to my surprise no scoffs or annoyance when I requested Gluten free. The person helping me "Will" was so incredibly kind. He asked what I'd like on my sandwich .. I replied, "A little of everything!" When I tell you this man went TO THE BACK of the store to pull out FRESH INGREDIENTS that had zero risk of cross contamination. Cut my Meats on a separate Meat Cutter and Prepared my entire sandwich in a separate workspace!! I literally almost cried and I'm not joking!!! He did not make a fuss about any of this - nor did I ask for that level of care. Yes it took him Longer, and there were others waiting in line. He didn't care, and when I told him how much I appreciated his efforts-he said "my best friend is celiac, so I understand!" It seriously made my whole month. You have no idea how taking extra care of someone matters, when it would be so easy to rush through and not make that extra effort because we're so used to be treated bad, scoffed at, annoyed with.. etc. So THANK YOU WILL, Thank You Jersey Mikes, and Thank You Udi's for giving me such a great experience because of your Extra efforts and Team work I was able to have a normal lunch experience, that so many take for granted every day. P.S. I did not get any side effects from any cross Contamination and I can't wait to go back again. Will deserves a raise.
