Food is good, however, I don't understand how the staff can routinely screw up an order when it is printed out in front of them. Then when you tell them, they put you back in "line" to prepare it correctly. I order online due to time constraints with my job and sitting here on a REGULAR basis for this wastes my entire lunch break. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. This was my first time visiting a firehouse subs. I ordered the Italian on a gluten free roll. The bread was good however, the sauce had a very sweet taste that was so off putting that it made me gag. I couldn't taste the meats or anything else in the sandwich because of that sauce. Friendly staff, but this isn't fast food, with nothing fast about it. If there's 2 people in front of you ordering expect to wait a min30 min for your food. The food is normal firehouse, so it's alright but the wait times are insane. Order online and show up later than your estimated time by 15 min and you may be able to not have a horrible wait. But for fast food, you shouldn't have to order online to hope that you don't sit for an hour+ for your food. If there's literally a line at all, just walk back out because everyone sitting down is probably just sitting waiting for their food. read more

Asked for a large sandwich with only meat and no other toppings. First time the food comes out it is completly loaded with all toppingsand cheese. I walk it back and say i asked for it plain just meat and bread he says ok and then when i finally recive the sandwich it has cheese on it yet again but this time i dont realize until i have already left. Paying 17 dollars for one sandwich that gets messed up twice and had me wait 25 min is just poor customer service. Poor communication and listening skills. read more

I ordered the Smoked Turkey medium sub without the mayonnaise to cut back and be healthy. The service here was helpful but they didn't allow much room for customization especially with the basic sandwiches. I like how the sandwiches are warm but this place is very basic when it comes to sandwiches. If you're looking for a place to quickly fill you up on sandwiches, this is the place to go although there's probably better sandwich places to go to if you really want it to hit the sandwich craving. The one place this has that I think is unique is their Cherry Lime-aid drink so try that before you leave! read more

I went in and ordered a hook and ladder and was told it would be a 15-20 minute wait. After an hour of waiting, I finally received the sandwich. I then told the manager that the wait was ridiculous and the staff then laughed at me. Then I get home and unsurprisingly, they screwed up the order. The sandwiches are good. I usually get the Engineer, but keep telling myself to try the meatball, but also change back to the Engineer last second. Why change a good thing? They got a new fancy coke machine that is digital and has all sorts of crazy flavors. I'm trying to cut back on the soda, but pushing the big button is fun and a good enough reason to throw back some soda pop. I'd prob come here a lot more if it was like 2 dollars cheaper. read more

I wish I could give a zero star. Horrible. Workers aren't friendly. Waited 30 minutes for a small and medium sandwich. Make sure you check on the status of your sandwich. They forget to make it! I used to LOVE Firehouse subs back when I ate meat regularly. The meatball sandwiches were amazing. I think there was a time I ate those everyday for a month. I have actually never been to an Auburn location as the last time I ate there was when I lived in Florida a few years back.
