I have never seen a zaxbys with this great of customer service. I went through the drive through to get a couple meals, extra fry and cheddar bites. They unfortunately didn't give me my cheese bites or extra fries but didn't realize it till I was already home. I gave them a call letting them know my inconvenience and the manager was more than willing to replace my sides, and not only did she replace them but gave me a free meal too. and let me tell you they absolutely loaded me up, they gave me extra fries, tenders and a whole extra piece of bread. Dealing with an inconvenience in a nice way is what the Lord calls us to do and majority of the time they are most willing to Help. read more

Last night, was the first night I had been inside of this Zaxby's location in months. Unfortunately, I was reminded why I had not been to this location. First, I ordered 3 boneless wing meals. The wings were the size of bite size chicken nuggets. In the past, the wings were much bigger. Second, when my son picked up his drink from the cup holder the bottom of the cup exploded. Spilling all of the soda onto my son's clothes. Furthermore, I ordered a Chicken Tender sandwich meal and was given chicken fingers. Moreover, the area between the front counter and the soda dispenser was so sticky, my flip flops kept sticking to the floor and I almost fell three times. Hi! We ate here this and could not be more disappointed and disgusted by the service, restaurant, and food. The restaurant and restrooms were filthy. The drink service area was covered with empty straw wrappers and dirty napkins. The tables had not been cleaned. The bathrooms toilets were used and not flushed, paper towel holders empty, and just overall dirty. The ice machine didn't work. When we opened our food it was soggy. I got a Cobb salad and it had no bacon or eggs on it. We didn't get any of the sauces requested. When my husband went to the counter to ask for these items, the girl at the counter could not have cared less and seemed inconvenienced by our requests. He returned with the wrong sauce (regular zax and not spicy). We had our 2 year old and infant with us so it made this experience even more inconvenient. Only zaxbys I've ever been do that does sell onion rings as a side. Only way to get onion rings is to order them ON a promotional sandwich where they come inside the sandwich so they are making them at this location but just don't sell them as a side? Today my husband filed for divorce. I was having a rough day to say the least. Upon entering the establishment, I was greeted with a warm "Welcome to Zaxby's!" I didn't think my experience could've gotten better from there until I saw a sign advertising that they now host birthday parties. I was delighted as it was also my birthday. I invited all my friends and even my husband to come meet me to celebrate. I am happy to say that thanks to the staff's impeccable service to make my birthday truly special for me and my guests, my husband and I are now fixing our issues and have decided to no longer get a divorce. Thank you Zaxby's for fixing my marriage. I plan on renewing my vows soon, and we are strongly considering Zaxby's as our venue. read more

Went through the drive thru at Opelika's Zaxbys today. Ordered the 5 wings lunch meal. Well got back to work and there was so much sauce on the wings that it ran over onto the fries and the bread was soaked with sauce and I couldn't open the container of ranch because it was so covered in sauce. I ordered UNSWEET tea and guess what I received sweet tea. Imagine that !!!!! Also when the attendant at the drive thru gave me the drinks both cups caved in and drink went all over me and the car....... Customer service is awful and food was no better. The fries were not cooked completely and wings tasted awful. So in the trash my $10 went !!!!!!!!!!!!! Manager says come back in 48 hrs and we will remake your meal !!! Went to Zaxby's in Opelika Tiger Town to get dinner for my family. Ordered a 6 finger chicken plate with extra fries and no drink, a cob salad, and an order of five extra chicken fingers. I asked the person taking my order at the drive thru window to make sure they gave me five chicken fingers. I was told that they were on the side and the salad had chicken already on it. Repeated my order 3 times at the drive thru to make sure she had it right. She repeated it back right so I thought the order I got would have been accurate. Got home which is 40 min. away from Zaxby's and opened the bag to find the plate was accurate but the salad had NO chicken on it and they had given me another container with only 3 fingers. No extra 5 chicken fingers. What has happened to this Zaxby's? I have ordered the exact same thing in the past and it was done right. Seems they need to get a person who can take an order at the window. Called to notify the mistake and was told they would contact their district manager. They might get back with me. I ordered a meal and the two guys in the kitchen who were making the sandwich were also playing with the girl there and one of them decides to touch the girls hair and then continues making the sandwich. Experience here was SO frustrating. The line was backed up to the street, and I waiting in line for 40 minutes, to start. I ordered 2 regular meals and 2 kids meals. When I got to the window, the guy just snatched my card without saying anything. He didn't even repeat the total, as these places usually do. After I got my card back he hands me a bag without a word, and closed the window. I sat there waiting for him to open it again. About 2 minutes later, he opens it and says "Is there a problem?" Yes. I didn't get my drinks. He stares at me. I stare back. He hands me one drink but not the other. I'm still sitting here waiting, expecting the other cup, and he starts, very slowly, repeating my order to me saying "You got this meal, and this meal, and the kids meals." YES I KNOW. I JUST NEED THE SECOND DRINK THAT IS SITTING RIGHT THERE BY YOU. I purposely order from the menu without making any changes or substitutions to avoid this kind of confusion. I went to this Zaxby's on 1/18/16 and ordered a Cobb salad--drove 20 minutes to work (I was on lunch), got there a realized I had a Caesar salad. I called and spoke with the manager, and was told I had to bring the salad back along with the receipt. Since, I work 20 minutes away, I told the manager it would be the next day before I could return the salad. I went back on today (1/19/16), and was told I had to CHOOSE whether I wanted a refund or my money back. ARE YOU SERIOUS??!! ME, THE CUSTOMER was inconvenienced TWICE- I didn't eat on 1/18, and I had to DRIVE out of my way to return a salad. What type of customer service is this?! I asked the cashier for the GMs name, guess what?? It's the Asst. Manager's HUSBAND!! This Zaxby's will NEVER receive my business again! I live in Opelika, and recently went through the drive thru for a salad. The drive thru was extremely slow, and upon arriving home I realized the employees forgot to put salad dressing in my bag. Who forgets dressing for a salad?! I feel that including salad dressing with a salad is common sense, and should not be forgotten.
